Episode 1Manu rushes out of the house straight to the akhada (gymnasium) on her horse early in the morning. Nana Saheb is yet to hone his skills, but Manu impresses one and all when she defeats Tatyaguru. The Peshwa has been exiled to Bithur by the English who are increasing their stranglehold over India. An incident at a religious function leaves Manu disturbed. Her father tries to make her understand that the Peshwa's insult was caused by the fear of the cruel English. The insult annoys Manu and when she witnesses the inhuman treatment of a stable hand by an Englishman, she punishes him with a whip. When Manu refuses to apologize, the Peshwa is forced to apologize to the Englishmen on Manu's behalf. - Episode 2E2
Episode 2When Manu stubbornly refuses to apologize to Jeff, Vahini Saheb decides to teach her a lesson. Vahini Saheb orders Manu to memorize 25 Shlokas (verses) by evening or else she will have to face punishment. Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to forgive Manu. But to his disappointment, she starts insulting him, discussing his background and the favors he received from Peshwa. Manu couldn't tolerate this and argues with Vahini Saheb that she cannot insult her father because he has done nothing wrong. Manu then leaves Vahini Saheb speechless by narrating all the Shlokas along with the translation. Then Peshwa walks in and forgives Manu. Later, Manu agrees to apologize to Jeff in presence of everyone only if he apologizes to Basu Kaka. Peshwa thinks it's fair, however Jeff doesn't agree. At night, an angry Vahini Saheb tells Moropant to get Manu married off and leave Bithur. Peshwa interrupts their conversation and announces that from now on Manu will live in the palace. - Episode 3E3
Episode 3Manu shows some children an arrow that explodes on hitting its target. She also displays its functioning in front of Nana Saheb. He is extremely impressed and invites her to come and practice at a isolated spot. While practicing, Nana Saheb's horse gets scared and starts running. The sudden movement results in Nana falling off the horse and being dragged by the horse. Nana Saheb falls off a cliff. - Episode 4E4
Episode 4Manu climbs down the cliffside to help Nana Saheb. At the palace, situation is quite tense. Vahini Saheb and Rani Saheb are worried about Nana Saheb. Manson accuses Moropant of instigating a revolt against the Britishers. Manu is worried as Nana Saheb is unconscious after the fall. She decides to take him back to the palace. When Manu returns to the palace with an unconscious Nana, panic spreads. Manu is accused of injuring Nana Saheb. Later, when Manson questions Manu about the explosive arrows, she tells him that she made them. Manson warns Moropant that if anything like this is repeated, his pensions will be discontinued. - Episode 5E5
Episode 5Moropant makes it clear to Manu that henceforth she will not use the bow and arrow. He even prohibits her from going to the training ground. At the training ground, Tatyaguru trains Rao Saheb and tells him to watch Manu when she comes. Later, he is informed that Manu will not be coming. Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to train Manu in household duties. The next day, Tatayaguru comes to meet Peshwa and requests him to allow Manu to resume her training. Rani Saheb tells Nana Saheb that henceforth he will ride an elephant. Manu is extremely disappointed as she is not allowed to take the elephant ride. She challenges Rani Saheb that one day she will have many elephants of her own. - Episode 6E6
Episode 6Peshwa Bajirao gives Nana a dagger and asks him to gift it to Manu as a token of their friendship. Moropant shows Manu's horoscope to an astrologer who gets thoroughly impressed by the unique position of her stars. The astrologer tells Moropant that Manu will enjoy all pleasures and riches in her life. Meanwhile, Peshwa Bajirao along with his family decides to go for a dip at Ganga ghat. However, their dip and prayers are interrupted by Vaadrayan, a powerful and mighty Kanyakubj Brahmin from Bithoor, who detests Brahmins from other clans. Hearing Vaadrayan insult Peshwa further, Manu retorts and cites a versa from the Upanishads that states the real meaning of Brahminism. - Episode 7E7
Episode 7Vaadrayana seething with anger vows to teach Peshwa Bajirao a lesson. Winston introduces the new Commissioner of Kanpur Sir Moreland who is accompanied by his wife. She had witnessed Manu give a witty answer to Vaadrayan, impressed by her, she gives Manu a gift. Meanwhile, the astrologer tells Moropant further that his daughter Manu will become a queen and will go down in history. Later, General visits Bajirao's court and warns him to avoid any confrontation with Vaadrayan. Manu is angered by this and decides not to offer prayers till the matter is resolved. Peshwa comes and pacifies her. He announces that Manu and others will take Indu's shagun to Kanpur. Meanwhile, in Jhansi, Maharaj Gangadhar Rao's coronation is in progress. However, he has more enemies in his court and family than friends. Later, Gangadhar Rao tells his ministers to arrange for his trip to Kanpur to offer prayers. - Episode 8E8
Episode 8A priest advises the Peshwa not to go to Kanpur for his daughter Indu's 'shagun' ceremony as the British forces have amassed there. As Gangadhar distributes items for popular welfare prior to leaving for Kanpur to execute a religious vow, a sniper's arrow pierces his chest. The assailant, who sports Company attire, evades royal capture and makes the king's aides suspect that the assassin is a Briton. Later, Gangadhar's loyalists deem that he needs an heir and a caring wife to stabilise his rule. - Episode 9E9

Episode 11An excited Indu, who awaits her to-be husband's arrival at Sarsaiya Ghat, is crestfallen on seeing that he is an old widower with two kids. Manu urges Indu to reject the alliance, which Vahini overhears. Though Maina Bai responds somewhat sympathetically to Manu's plea, Vahini furiously tells Moropant that Manu's rebelliousness could ruin Prachi's and Indu's futures. A calm Vahini later explains to Manu how marriages unite diverse families, that the groom's character is relevant and not his age. - Episode 12E12
Episode 12An emotional Maina Bai convinces her child Indu not to resist marrying Shyam Rao. As Moropant thanks Vahini for pacifying Manu and she urges him to fix Manu's wedding, a heartless British official extracts tax from the Peshwa for staying in Kanpur. The sight of the Peshwa paying tax on native soil disturbs Manu. Meanwhile, King Gangadhar seeks a new treaty for an autonomous Jhansi from Captain Fraser, a British official. But the Britons ponder if the king has exploitable behavioural weaknesses. - Episode 13E13
Episode 13Courtesan Moti Bai rejects a smitten Gangadhar's gifts for her given by his helper Khudabaksh. Astrologer Neelkanth Shastri mistakenly gives Manu's horoscope to Tatya Dikshit, an aide of Gangadhar, and recommends Vadrayan's child Vaishali for Gangadhar. Gangadhar's black commandos set up his meet with Moti Bai, during which he lauds her musical skills and tries to win her heart. At a mela, as Manu sees Vaishali's anklet with Nana, a quarrel erupts between Tatya Tope and bigoted British horsemen. - Episode 14E14
Episode 14Vahini takes Manu away from the mela to Sarsaiya Ghat though she is keen to punish the Britons for insulting Tatya Tope and an old man. She confronts British officials for violently mistreating natives though Vahini had told her that they are helpless British slaves. At the mela, as a joust begins between George, a British cavalryman, and Nana, Nana's initial successes lead to British trickery, which causes his loss. But Manu bravely continues the contest, stunning all, including Tatya Dikshit. - Episode 15E15
Episode 15Even as Gangadhar woos Moti Bai in a royal manner and wants her to join his dance school, a wounded Manu defeats George. As George and his colleagues flee the site of the joust, scores of patriotic villagers stop them. Nana asks them to fulfil their bet, but George refuses to do so. Though Tatya lets him go scot-free, Manu, with popular backing, makes George place a turban on the old man's head and honour him as promised. Vahini fears ruthless British vengeance for Manu's daring. - Episode 16E16
Episode 16Gangadhar tells Mr Fraser that a new treaty for Jhansi's autonomy is needed. As Tatya Dixit lauds Manu's exploits and says she is fit to become Jhansi's queen without uttering her name, Gangadhar wrongly deems he is talking about Moti. On being told about some British officers' arrival, Shyam Rao stops a nautch, after which they lash him so that he reveals Manu's identity. In Bithur, the Peshwa invites the locals to a feast to mark Indu's coming marriage and flings precious items out of delight. - Episode 17E17
Episode 17Vaishali and her sister Kanta inform their father that they possess the peshwaship's gold coin. Vadrayan's fury heightens when his aide Dhrupad insinuates that Vaishali is smitten with Nana. At the Peshwa's 'Brahmabhoj' ceremony, Vadrayan urges other Hindu monks to abstain from eating the food and curses the Peshwa that he would lead a discredited life. A face-off ensues at the Peshwa's durbar between British troops and the peshwaship's forces when the Peshwa refuses to hand over Manu to them. - Episode 18E18
Episode 18Though the Peshwa is determined not to hand over Manu to the British, Moropant brings her to the durbar and lets Commissioner Wilson arrest her for an interrogation. Moropant's selfless gesture for the sake of the peshwaship's stability attracts the gratefulness of pro-Peshwa forces. Taken to a dungeon by the British, Manu witnesses the British brutalities on Indian inmates. As Geoff Gordon is about to whip her, Captain Manson stops him and says that only the law has the right to punish her. - Episode 19E19
Episode 19In a dungeon, Manu sees the ghastly treatment meted out to Indian prisoners, including landlord Shyam Rao. Manson hopes that the sight of the brutalities in prison would weaken Manu to such an extent that she would reveal to him the technique of making her special explosive arrows. Manu, who is inspired by the patriotic fervour of the detainees, promises to reveal the technique, but in exchange for the detainees' freedom. As the detainees are freed, a worried Moropant seeks to enter the jail. - Episode 20E20
Episode 20Manu runs away from the British officials and allied native troops, threatens to commit suicide in jail, and refuses to reveal how to make her arrow bombs, which stuns Manson. Vahini urges the Peshwa to devote more attention to Indu's wedding and the guests. Manson, who is worried about the political fallout of Manu committing suicide, is told about Moropant's presence outside the jail. Nana and Tatya Tope inform Lady Moreland about Manu's imprisonment after Prachi counsels her father to do so. - Episode 21E21
Episode 21Despite Harold Moreland's objection, his wife Christina gets an order for Manu's release from the Governor-General of India. Manson mistreats Moropant inside the jail and hopes that it would compel Manu to reveal her arrow-bomb's intricacies. Appalled by it, Manu reveals how to make the arrow bomb. She informs her humiliated father that the Indian patriots' mistreatment by the British is far worse. As Christina, Nana and Tatya see the blood-soaked jail cells, Manu prepares to use the arrow bomb. - Episode 22E22
Episode 22After Manu detonates the arrow bomb, Manson's delight is short-lived as Christina enters the prison and gives him the Governor-General's order for Manu's release. Moropant explains to Tatya why Manu revealed the arrow-bomb's secrets. Later, as preparations are on for Indu's wedding, an enraged Vahini prevents Manu from entering the Bithur palace until she undergoes purification. But Christina resolutely defends Manu and says that Manu's heroism would have been lauded by British society. - Episode 23E23
Episode 23As Vahini conducts Manu's purification, she is prevented from losing her balance by Christina, which leads to Vahini purifying herself. The Peshwa stops Vahini's vicious tirade against Manu's character by recounting the bravery of Bharat's female warriors. Later, the Peshwa urges Nana to toughen up psychologically and get inspired by Manu's courage. As preparations are on to worship nine girls in the lead-up to Indu's wedding, the Peshwa's assertion that Manu be one of those girls angers Vahini. - Episode 24E24
Episode 24The Peshwa worships a glum Manu during the 'Kanya Puja', much to Vahini's unease. Manu eats a morsel of food as a mark of respect for the puja. Vaishali's mother meets Manu outside the puja venue and lauds her bravery even while lamenting the society's patriarchy. As Vaishali searches for Kanta in the palace and gets lost, Nana flirtatiously helps her. As Nana is about to leave for Kanpur with Indu's 'shagun' for Shyam Rao, the latter's aide tells them that Shyam Rao doesn't wish to wed Indu. - Episode 25E25
Episode 25Shyam Rao's aide blames Manu for the cancellation of Indu's marriage. When Vahini condemns Manu's character, Nana says that he is equally culpable for Indu's plight. When the Peshwa absolves Manu, Vahini roars that Manu can return to the palace after undergoing purification. As Manu ponders Vahini's hurtful comments and sees Goddess Durga's idol being readied for 'Durga Saptami', Tatya Tope urges her to use her coming purification as a springboard for becoming an anti-British revolutionary. - Episode 26E26
Episode 26As Manu undergoes ritual purification on the occasion of 'Durga Saptami', King Gangadhar performs a divine dance with Moti Bai to celebrate it. Sakhu Bai, Gangadhar's sister-in-law, tells her grandson Krishna Rao that it is his right to rule Jhansi and predicts later that a female warrior will occupy Jhansi's throne. Vahini instructs a bedecked Manu not to leave the Bithur palace until her marriage takes place. Moti Bai refuses to accept Gangadhar's precious gifts and seeks his help for charity. - Episode 27E27
Episode 27As Narsingh discusses Jhansi's near bankruptcy with Gangadhar's relatives, Gangadhar accuses his sister-in-law Sakhu of plotting to kill her son and using his late elder brother's adopted son Krishna Rao to control Jhansi's levers of power. Sakhu and her aide secretly go underground wearing a veil to take a look at Jhansi's stolen treasure, which they plan to use to take over Jhansi violently. Manu seeks to burn a British flag on a flagpost on top of the commissionerate's building. - Episode 28E28
Episode 28A veiled Manu burns the British flag on top of the commissionerate's HQ in the Dholpur village. Sakharam worries that the Britons may consider it Bithur's mutiny. The Peshwa feels that he will be held culpable by the Britons. Vahini, initially suspicious of Manu's involvement, assures him that Manu is guiltless. After meeting Captain Manson, Dhrupad provokes Vadrayan against the Peshwa by stating that the Peshwa plans to usurp his ancestral priestly rights by holding a puja on 'Durga Ashtami'. - Episode 29E29
Episode 29Vadrayan tries to prevent the Peshwa from holding a puja. Tatya Tope stops Vadrayan from doing so. Though a reconciliatory Peshwa seeks Vadrayan's aid to hold the puja, a stubborn Vadrayan alone wants to conduct the puja, which almost leads to violence between his aides and Tatya Tope. Captain Manson, who is elated to see the divisions within Hindu society, threatens to arrest them and orders that the prayers stop until Bithur's law and order is under control. But Manu starts the holy prayer. - Episode 30E30
Episode 30Gangadhar's astrologer lauds a girl's horoscope in front of Tatya Dixit and says that she will transform Jhansi's fate. Tatya Tope expresses to Manu that he lauds the person who charred the British flag. As Dhrupad forces Vaishali to wear the bangles he bought for her, she slaps him. Vadrayan expels Dhrupad as an aide later. On hearing that the Britons plan to install another flag in Dholpur, Manu sneaks into Vahini's room, steals a piece of cloth and develops a flag for a mutinous female force. - Episode 31E31
Episode 31Janki says that she will not let the plans of Lachchu, Sakhu, Krishna, Ali and Gangadhar succeed. Gangadhar's astrologer tells her that if Manu weds Gangadhar, Gangadhar's rivals wouldn't be able to unseat him. Janki asks the astrologer to obtain Manu's horoscope. Manson, who unsuccessfully tests Manu's fire arrow, is told by Dhrupad that Manu has planted a flag near the commissionerate's HQ. Manson accuses the peshwaship and Manu of behaving mutinously. But the Peshwa and his aides defend her. - Episode 32E32
Episode 32Vahini suspects that Manu is being untruthful. Vahini is en route to a cow-house with Manu and her aides to perform puja. Just then, they see Captain Smith whipping a fakir at a crossroad after Dhrupad informs Manson that the fakir is urging the locals to revolt. As the fakir is about to be hung the next morning, a veiled Manu renders a British soldier unconscious, disrobes him and frees the fakir. As Manu is about to return to her room, Vahini sees a shadow in the dark and thinks it is Manu's. - Episode 33E33
Episode 33Manson sees a British military effigy hung at the crossroad and asks Smith to untie the Briton. Sakharam tells the Peshwa that this is a revolutionary act. Manson accuses one of the locals of involvement in it and predicts a hellish British response. As a Briton whips a local, Kanta sees Manu's missing dagger and sends it to her through Kusum, a flower-seller's daughter. Gangadhar informs Moti that his relatives seek to harm him. Janki orders the astrologer to duplicate Manikarnika's horoscope. - Episode 34E34
Episode 34Moropant tells Vahini that he intends to go to Kashi with Manu's newly made horoscope to find a groom for her. Manu tells the Peshwa that she seeks expertise in domestic tasks. When Manson tells the Peshwa that the Britons are about to hang 20 Bithur locals, Sakharam informs the Peshwa that not one of them is a Marathi. The Peshwa successfully bribes Manson to stop the Britons from crushing the locals. But Tatya Tope's insinuation that Manson is easily corruptible angers Manson and the Peshwa. - Episode 35E35
Episode 35Tatya Tope bends to pick up the Peshwa's gold coins from the ground to give them to a haughty Manson. Manu ends his humiliation. Dixit tells Gangadhar that he has found a bride for him. Manu keeps her horoscope in Vahini's temple and places Indu's horoscope in Moropant's bag without telling him as he is about to leave for Kashi as she wants Indu to get married. Gangadhar's astrologer shows Manu's twin horoscope to Dixit in sync with Janki's plot. Manson deems that Manu hasn't behaved mutinously. - Episode 36E36
Episode 36Manu trains Kusum, Prachi and Kanta rigorously at Laal Tila to help them carry out their tasks as members of the 'Naari Sena'. After female villagers quench these girls' thirst, they seek vainly to recruit the villagers. Vahini spots muddy footprints in the palace and is told by Indu that Manu has returned with Prachi from an outdoor visit. Manu convinces Vahini that she was in Laal Tila to collect mud to buff Peshwa's silvery plate. Manu secretly enters Manson's home at night to punish him. - Episode 37E37
Episode 37Manu goes to Manson's home, robs cash from his cupboard and leaves a note behind. When Manson wakes up, he finds it and decides to take action against 'Kranti Guru'. Manu tells Vahini of her dream in which she sees Manson hanging people. Vahini performs a rite to cast off the evil eye on Manu. Vaishali tells Nana that her dad is searching for a groom for her and they can't be together anymore. When Tatya Tope tells Manu that he wonders who 'Kranti Guru' is, Manu almost tells him that it is her. - Episode 38E38
Episode 38Vahini searches for Manu's dagger to keep it under her pillow to ward off bad dreams. The Peshwa is shocked when he hears about the robbery. Later, the villagers tell him that they want to hold a 'Ram Leela'. He tells Sakharam to make provisions for it. Sakharam opens a box found in the treasury in front of Bajirao. He finds gold coins and a note saying that they belong to Bithur. Moreland berates Manson over the stolen gold coins. Manu puts some gold coins in a box that Kusum had hidden. - Episode 39E39
Episode 39Having heard from the locals that Manson had taken a bribe from the Peshwa, Dhrupad tells Manson about it. When Manson finds out that 'Kranti Guru' returned that money to the Peshwa, he tells Dhrupad to find out who is 'Kranti Guru'. After a puja for his dead wife, Gangadhar is told that Shastri Ji has found a woman, Shwethambara, whose horoscope suits Gangadhar's. Janki gives a poisoned drink to Vish Kanya. Manson accuses the Peshwa of stealing the bribe money and of being 'Kranti Guru's' ally. - Episode 40E40
Episode 40Manu, who is in charge of the cast for 'Ram Leela', decides to cast women in it. After some hesitation, the villagers agree to it. Manson tells Smith not to underestimate a strong Manu and that he has seen what she is capable of. Dhrupad tells Manson that Manu is casting women in 'Ram Leela'. The British soldiers whip an Indian for not paying a tax. Manson asks Manu to pay the tax for practising in the garden, to which Manu agrees. Manu goes to Manson's house and burns the tax register. - Episode 41E41
Episode 41Notices put up on walls say that anyone with information on 'Kranti Guru' will be rewarded with 100 pieces of silver. When Manson goes to the Bithur royal palace to collect the tax for the practising of 'Ram Leela' in the garden, Manu gives it to him. At night, 'Kranti Guru' sticks another notice over the previous ones, which urges the people to back 'Kranti Guru'. Indu reaches the garden and fights with Manu, saying she wants to play the role of 'Sita'. But Nana tells her to play Urmila's role. - Episode 42E42
Episode 42Gangadhar dreams that Janki Bai and the others kill him. While Manu and the girls rehearse for 'Ram Leela', Manu says 'Kranti Guru's' lines. Dhrupad overhears this and sees the same bangles on Manu's hands, which he found under 'Kranti Guru's' note. He realises that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Sakhu Bai finds out that the woman, which Janki Bai found for Gangadhar, is a 'Vish Kanya'. Manson plans with Dhrupad to catch Manu red-handed as 'Kranti Guru'. Dhrupad is angry on seeing Nana with Vaishali. - Episode 43E43
Episode 43Manson catches Malang and tells the people of Bithur that he is 'Kranti Guru'. Shanta tells Vahini that the British government has declared a curfew and no one can step out of the house. Manson beats Malang and uses him as a trap to lure 'Kranti Guru' to save him. Dhrupad hides with a British soldier to catch Manu. But Tatya Tope sees this and leaves the cattle on them. Dhrupad falls down while the soldier escapes. Tatya Tope ties Dhrupad's legs and hangs him upside down from a pole - Episode 44E44
Episode 44Tatya Tope understands that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Manu and Tatya Tope go to rescue Malang. Manson tortures Malang a lot. Tatya Tope and Manu use explosives and fight against the guards. The guards are afraid thinking that 'Kranti Guru' has come with his full army. Tatya Tope catches Manson, while Manu fights off the guards and releases the other prisoners along with Malang. The prisoners beat up the guards. Malang Baba and the prisoners are able to escape from Manson's clutches. - Episode 45E45
Episode 45As Tatya Tope takes Manson outside the gate, Manson almost removes Tatya's mask. When Tatya runs away, a bullet hits his leg. Manu shoots arrows and wounds the soldiers. Manu and Tatya manage to escape. At Tatya's insistence, Manu heats a dagger and removes the bullet from his leg. Indu searches for Manu and finds out that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Manu expresses to Tatya Tope that, for the sake of the people's welfare, 'Kranti Guru' should die. But Tatya tells her that she is Bithur's hope. - Episode 46E46
Episode 46Indu tells Prachi that she will tell everyone that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Prachi pleads with Indu, but Indu is adamant. Vahini sees Dhrupad hanging outside. Sakharam releases him and informs the Peshwa about this. Dhrupad is unable to explain to the Peshwa why he was behind the palace. Moreland apologises to the Peshwa and lifts the curfew on Bithur. Moropant tells everyone that Indu will marry the prince of Kashi. Then, the Peshwa praises Manu and promises to find a suitable match for her. - Episode 47E47
Episode 47Indu apologises to Manu when she finds out that she got a match because Manu changed the horoscopes. Gangadhar tells Tatya that if Shwetambara is right for him, then he would meet her. Shwetambara comes to the palace to meet Gangadhar. She also brings along a painting that she made of him, which impresses him. Moti Bai is angry when she finds out that Gangadhar is going to marry a princess. When she confronts him, he tells her that he cannot make a prostitute the queen of Jhansi. - Episode 48E48
Episode 48Manson challenges Tatya Tope to a sword-fighting match, and Tatya Tope agrees to it. Everyone, including the Peshwa, Sir Moreland and his wife, gathers to witness the match. Angered by his humiliation, Manson tells Smith to increase Bithur's tax. Manu asks Tatya Tope how he hid his wound. He tells her that the doctor covered it with mud. Tatya tells Manu to be brave and take the lead to destroy British rule. Indu sees Manu practise with the sword. Manu asks her to join her army. - Episode 50E50
Episode 50Manu tells Indu that she doesn't get to practice anymore. Indu tells her that Vahini Saheb is happy today and she will let Manu practise her sword fighting. Gangadhar praises Tatya Dixit for finding a girl whose horoscope matches his. Tatya says that Manikarnika's horoscope also matched Gangadhar's horoscope. Bopatkar, however, feels there's something wrong. He wants to meet Shastri Ji, but Janki Bai sends him away from Jhansi. Episode 51Janki Bai is told that Bopatkar went to Kanpur along with Tatya Dixit as he had got Manikarnika's horoscope from there. Janki Bai tells Shwetambara that she has to win the dance competition and that Moti Bai dances well. As Manu and the girls practise for 'Ram Leela', Vadrayan lauds them. A girl, Kali, knows the lines of 'Ram Leela'. So, Manu calls her to take part in the play, but all are against it due to Kali's social class. Episode 52Manu prays before she goes to participate in 'Ram Leela'. Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar can't meet Shastri Ji in Kanpur. They are told to go to Bithur to meet Vadrayan where they can get Manikarnika's horoscope. Manu and the girls perform in the play. While Vadrayan purifies the well, he comes to know about Kali. He goes and tells Manu to stop 'Ram Leela' as Kali is there in it. Episode 53Manu vainly tries to convince the people about human equality. As she is about to stop the 'Ram Leela', the Peshwa, who is moved by her words, tells her to continue the 'Ram Leela'. Sakhu Bai gives money to Captain Ross and tells him to look away from Jhansi for some time. Dhrupad goes to kidnap Vaishali, but Nana fights with his men. Vadrayan sees Vaishali hugging Nana. Episode 54Shwetambara takes a snake and lets it bite her. Moti Bai's servant sees this and tries to tell Moti Bai. While dancing, Shwetambara attacks her, and she loses her consciousness. Gangadhar is impressed by Shwetambara's dance, and he chooses her as the winner. Vadrayan punishes himself because Vaishali hugged Nana. So, Vaishali runs away and jumps in the pond. Manu saves her. Episode 55Manu asks Moropant what the meaning of love is. He explains it to her through Ramayana, a sacred Hindu epic. Manu tells the Peshwa that Vaishali loves Nana. Manu tells the Peshwa to fix Nana and Vaishali's marriage. He agrees to it and decides to speak to Vadrayan about it. Vadrayan decides that he will consult with Shastri Ji and marry off Vaishali to whomever he can. The Peshwa praises Manu and tells Moropant that he hopes Manu will be a queen someday. Episode 56After Moti Bai's servant dies, she tells Gangadhar that something is wrong. Gangadhar queries Narsingh about Shwetambara. Janki Bai tells Shwetambara to win over Gangadhar so that he can forget Moti Bai. The Peshwa takes Manu to Vaishali's house. Vadrayan insults the Peshwa and queries Vaishali. But Vaishali tells Vadrayan that she doesn't love Nana and asks them to leave. Nana hears this, and the Peshwa is saddened by it. The Peshwa tells an apologetic Manu that she tried simply to unite them. - Episode 57E57
Episode 57Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar ask Vadrayan about his daughter. But they realise that Vadrayan's daughter is not Manikarnika. After Vadrayan tells them that there is no Manikarnika among the Brahmins, they leave. Because Nana punishes himself, Manu consoles him. While practising for the play with Gangadhar, Shwetambara needs the venom and goes to her room. She then tries to kill him, but Janki warns her not to. Tatya Dixit meets Manu as she performs a ritual, but doesn't know that she is Manikarnika. - Episode 58E58
Episode 58Gangadhar invites the Britons for the play. Meanwhile, because Manu gets a dream about a king being killed by his own people, she prays for his safety. Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar go to Bithur's Shastri Ji's house, and they find Manikarnika's horoscope there. Episode 60Gangadhar gets a message from Jhansi. So, he tells Narsingh Rao not to let Sakhu Bai talk to anyone. While performing a ritual, Gangadhar loses his necklace in the pond, and it ends up on Manu's neck. So, he goes to the temple and prays for grace. He is told to offer a goat as a sacrifice. Manu also goes to the same temple. As the goat is about to be killed, she rescues the goat, which angers Gangadhar. So, he asks Manu to stop, but she carries the goat and points her dagger at him angrily. - Episode 61E61
Episode 61Gangadhar is furious as Manu points a dagger at him. She tells him that he has no right to kill the goat and Gangadhar explains his action by stating that the goat is being sacrificed for an offering. Manu runs away with the goat and Raghunath orders the soldiers to catch her. Manu hides in the palace, but Moropant finds her and returns the goat to the soldiers. Episode 62On her birthday, Manu goes to river Ganga and shows Moropant the necklace. At Indu's pre-wedding ceremony, Maina Bai tells Manu that she will also get married soon. Gangadhar is upset over losing his necklace. Lachchu Bai keeps Manu's painting in Moti Bai's room. Moti Bai tells Lachchu Bai that she loves and worships Gangadhar. Manu finds the sacrificial goat alive and learns that Gangadhar has changed his mind about sacrificing the goat. Manu sees Gangadhar whipping Shambu and gets angry. - Episode 63E63
Episode 63Gangadhar whips Shambu, but Raghunath tells him that Shambu is a faithful man. Manu discloses the truth to the Peshwa that she had opened the horse's saddle. The Peshwa tells Sakharam to inform Gangadhar and Sakharam apprises Gangadhar that it was just a joke. While practising slingshot, Manu hits a small boy, and his friends challenge Manu to a kabbadi match. Manu wins against them. Gangadhar sees his necklace around Manu's neck, but he is unable to see Manu's face as she is covered with mud. - Episode 64E64
Episode 64Raghunath finds that the necklace is with some girl from the Peshwa family. At a 'mehndi' ceremony, Maina applies henna on Manu's hand. Moti Bai writes a letter to Gangadhar, but Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar read it. Gangadhar tells Raghunath to find the girl who has his necklace and Raghunath asks Moropant to search for the girl. Moropant tells Vahini Saheb about the necklace, and she tells him she has seen it on Manu's neck. Upon questioning, Manu denies having the necklace. - Episode 65E65
Episode 65Maina Bai gives gifts to the girls who apply henna for Indu. Vahini Saheb, Moropant and Manu search for the necklace and the Peshwa speaks to Indu. Gangadhar is invited for the ceremony where an invitation card is given to the bridegroom's family. But Gangadhar tells Raghunath that he cannot go for the ceremony without his necklace. Manu imagines a confrontation between the Peshwa and Gangadhar and the King of Kashi's threat to go back with his son. Manu decides to speak to Gangadhar. - Episode 66E66
Episode 66The Peshwa tells Moropant and Vahini Saheb that the King of Kashi won't bring the 'Baraat' until Gangadhar Rao is present. Lachchu reads Moti Bai's letter and tells her that Gangadhar will return with Manu as his bride. Moti Bai tells Lachchu Bai that this won't happen. Bopatkar and Tatya Dixit go to Bithur's palace to show Gangadhar Manu's photograph. Tatya Dixit tells Moropant that the Peshwa has rejected the proposal and he has to decide if he wants to see Manu as the Queen of Jhansi. Moropant tells Vahini Saheb about Gangadhar's decision to marry Manu and that Gangadhar is ready to accept the Peshwa's decision. Vahini Saheb meets the Peshwa and convinces him to allow Gangadhar to marry Manu, and the Peshwa agrees. - Episode 70E70
Episode 70Manu thinks that she will be like a servant in Jhansi. When Lachchu informs Moti Bai about Gangadhar's decision to marry Manu, Moti tells Lachcu she won't let it happen. The Peshwa embraces Moropant and informs him about his decision to let Gangadhar marry Manu and Moropant is deeply moved. At Indu's 'bidaai' the Peshwa blesses Manu. When Vahini Saheb tells Moropant to inform Manu about her marriage to Gangadhar, he tells her that it is the mother's prerogative to break this news to her child. - Episode 71E71
Episode 71Vahini Saheb tells Manu that she will get married to Gangadhar, and become the Queen of Jhansi. Moropant informs Tatya Dixit and Bopatkar that the Peshwa has agreed to let Gangadhar marry Manu. Tatya Dixit tells Moropant he will inform Gangadhar about this. The Peshwa tells Tatya Tope that his disciple Manu will be the Queen of Jhansi. Manu tells Moropant that she doesn't want to marry Gangadhar. The Peshwa sends 2000 gold coins with Sakharam as 'shagun' to Gangadhar, and he accepts it. - Episode 72E72
Episode 72Manu pens a letter and decides to run away. Tatya Tope finds the letter, and he searches for Manu everywhere. Moti Bai, Lachchu Bai and Sakhu Bai unite and plan to use Manu as a pawn so that she never becomes the queen of Jhansi. Accidently, Manu hides in a box meant to be Gangadhar's present that is going to Jhansi. Moropant tells Tatya Tope to speak to Manu, as he is the only one who can convince Manu to marry Gangadhar. Gangadhar decides to go hunting as the forests of Bithur enchant him. - Episode 73E73
Episode 73As a sign of respect to the Peshwa, Raghunath persuades Gangadhar to touch the gifts. Gangadhar agrees and almost opens the box in which Manu is hiding and later, goes hunting. At her 'kanyadaan' a tearful Indu embraces her family and wants to meet Manu last time before she leaves. No one is able to find Manu. Tatya Dixit also wants to meet Manu, and when he goes to the Peshwa, Prachi blurts out that Manu doesn't want to go to Jhansi. Manu distracts a servant and escapes from the box. - Episode 74E74
Episode 74Manu sees a woman plead to Gangadhar to save her. The British troops drag away the woman and insult Gangadhar. Gangadhar thrashes the British soldier and tells him that he will not tolerate the Britons harassing the Indians. Tatya Tope praises Gangadhar. Tatya finds Manu and states that he was impressed with Gangadhar's behaviour, so if Manu becomes the Queen Of Jhansi, she would be able to uproot the Britons from India. Tatya informs the Peshwa that Manu is ready to marry Gangadhar. - Episode 75E75
Episode 75Lachchu tells Moti that she has to give an heir to Jhansi. The Peshwa calls Moropant, Tatya Tope and Nana to discuss Manu's marriage. Manson finds out about who will be the Queen of Jhansi. The Peshwa tells Tatya to go to Jhansi and find out about everything. Thinking that she will become the Queen of Jhansi, Manson bows to Prachi. But he is shocked and starts laughing when he is told that Manu would be the Queen. Manson insults Manu, but on Wilson's command, he apologises and bows down to Manu. - Episode 76E76
Episode 76Wilson orders Manson to provide Manu with 1000 gold coins. When Manson grudgingly does so, Manu says that the money belonged to the Peshwa only. Motibai dresses up because Gangadhar is supposed to return to the palace. Lachchu gives her a herb to weaken Gangadhar so that Motibai can win his love but the latter refuses. When Gangadhar arrives, Motibai goes to welcome him, but he doesn't look at her. So, she mixes the herb to give him. Raghunath announces that Gangadhar will marry Manu. - Episode 77E77
Episode 77Manu gets a dream in which Gangadhar gets bitten by a snake. Vahini mentions it to Moropant and he says that it could be a bad omen. Lachchu, Janki and Sakhu apologise to Gangadhar and congratulate him. Motibai writes a letter to Gangadhar and, instead of giving it to Gangadhar, is about to drink the juice to commit suicide. Gangadhar meets Motibai and drinks the juice, which has the herb given to Motibai by Lachchu. As the girls apply 'alta', they spill it all over Manu's hand, reddening it. - Episode 78E78
Episode 78At a ritual, something untoward occurs, so the pandit ties a thread around Manu's fingers for Gangadhar's safety. Motibai performs for Gangadhar, but he loses consciousness. Lachchu tells Sakhu and Janki that Motibai will carry out Lachchu's plan. Sakhu has made arrangements for the presents not to reach Bithur. Fraser tells Raghunath that the East India Company is against Gangadhar and Manu's marriage as Manu has violated law and order in Bithur. Episode 79A 'vaidya' treats Gangadhar. Raghunath tells Gangadhar that the 'shagun' won't reach Bithur on time because of Captain Fraser. Vahini notices that the thread is missing from Manu's hand. So, Manu searches for it and ties it again. Colonel Spears and Fraser accuse Manu of illegal activities. But Gangadhar takes a stand and supports Manu's actions. He commands Tatya Dixit to take the 'shagun' to Bithur immediately. Janki Bai tells Gangadhar that it doesn't suit him to marry a commoner's daughter. - Episode 80E80
Episode 80Raghunath and Tatya Dixit arrive at Bithur with the 'shagun' with a message. But the Peshwa tells them he won't let Manu wed Gangadhar unless Gangadhar brings the 'baraat' to Bithur. Vahini feels sorry for the way she treated Manu. Moropant tells Vahini that as Gangadhar is facing crises in Bundelkhand, he won't come to Bithur, due to which the 'shagun' is being sent back. Moropant tells Raghunath and Tatya that the Peshwa has agreed to send Manu to Bundelkhand, but he won't attend the wedding. - Episode 81E81
Episode 81Manu tells Raghunath that she won't wed Gangadhar as he insulted the Peshwa. But the Peshwa convinces her to. He tells her that he will first send Tatya Tope to Jhansi to examine its state. Lachchu, Sakhu and Janki plot with Moti not to let Gangadhar marry Manu. The 'vaidya' diagnoses Gangadhar with black fever. Vaidya says anyone, who applies the ointment, will get the fever. Motibai agrees to apply it. Manu gets Gangadhar's necklace as a gift. Lachchu tells Motibai to bear an heir. - Episode 82E82
Episode 82Lachchu tells Moti that she will be able to change Jhansi's destiny by bearing an heir. Janki, Lachchu and Sakhu pretend to be united but have different plans in their minds. The Peshwa demands that Manu be treated royally, and Moropant be given a suitable position in Jhansi. Manu hears that Gangadhar's health is deteriorating. So, she prays at the temple and takes ash from there. Tatya Tope, Raghunath and Tatya Dixit leave for Jhansi. Manu catches up with them and gives the ash to Tatya Tope. - Episode 83E83
Episode 83With the ash given by Manu, Tatya Tope continues his journey to meet Gangadhar. On seeing Gangadhar's deteriorating health, Moti feels guilty and decides to dance in her chamber until he gets better. The decision of giving Manu the guard of honour and helping her in her marriage angers Manson. A pandit in the temple informs Manu and Vahini about another way to help Gangadhar get better. Manu starts the task told by the Pandit. Moti Bai dances on glass shards for Gangadhar. - Episode 84E84
Episode 84Manu finishes the task and falls unconscious due to a loss of blood. At the same time, Gangadhar regains consciousness. Having had a mysterious dream about a temple, he expresses his desire to visit it. Manu is taken care of by Vahini, who gives her another task to complete. Manu sets off on the task alone but meets with an accident caused by Manson. Gangadhar, impressed with Moti, takes her along with him to visit the temple. Episode 86The pandits find an unconscious Manu at the temple. Vahini and Moropant come to see her, but she doesn't wake up. Manson assumes that Manu is dead and informs his officer about it. As Moropant feels guilty, Manu wakes up. Moti is upset about the way Gangadhar has treated her. Lachchu makes fun of her. Gangadhar gets a marriage proposal for Manu and a letter from the Peshwa. Episode 87Gangadhar is convinced that Peshwa's proposal was sent to make him reject the marriage. Sakhu and Janki refute Tatya Dixit's claim when he says that the gift for Gangadhar came from their own province. Tatya Tope leaves Gangadhar's court with a rejection from Gangadhar. It is Moti, who had replaced the Peshwa's gift with a dead lizard. Captain Manson is shocked on seeing Manu alive while she investigates her accident. Episode 88Gangadhar brings a portrait of Manu and announces before the court his decision to wed Manu. Tatya Tope brings the Peshwa's gift for Gangadhar, and he accepts it wholeheartedly. Episode 89An angry Peshwa is worried for Manu after her accident. Vadrayan informs Bajirao about Manson's involvement in the trap and presents himself as proof. Bajirao asks Sakharam to send a letter to Fort William about Manson's intention. Manson visits Bajirao's court after being called by him. Bajirao confronts him about trying to kill Manu, but Manu asks to let Manson go for lack of evidence. Moti, upset over having to exit the court, vows to commit a final act. Gangadhar declares in the treaty which he is about to sign that his son will be the successor. He invites Simon Fraser too for his marriage. Episode 96Samar Singh tries to enter Manus tent to kill her but is attacked by Pawan. However, Samar Singhs life is saved by Manu who controls the horse. Meanwhile, Motibai undertakes severe austerities to invoke divine blessings to prevent any hindrances in Gangadhars marriage. When Samar reveals that even Gangadhar Rao is scared of the robbers belonging to Samar Singhs gang. Manu makes a resolve that she would not spare the bandit leader if he tried to harm anyone in Jhansi. - Episode 97E97
Episode 97Tatya Tope, Moropant, Nana Saheb and the entire troop fall unconscious after having the food mixed with a lethal substance. Samar Singh abducts an unconscious Manu and flees the camp. Meanwhile, Prachi, who is hiding in a trunk, feels hungry and decides to come out of her hiding place. While wandering through the camp, Prachi spots Samar Singh fleeing with Manu. When Sakha Ram reaches the camp, Prachi narrates what happened. The news of Manu getting attacked by Samar Singh reaches Gangadhar Rao. Meanwhile, Tatya Tope and Moropant regain consciousness, and Tope immediately leaves to find Manu. When Samar Singh is about to stab Manu, she suddenly opens her eyes. She asks him why he did not kill her as he is known to be a ruthless killer. Manu tells him that humanity still survives in him. Manu then challenges Samar Singh to fight with her. - Episode 98E98
Episode 98Manu succeeds in defeating Samar Singh. She asks him to join her fight against the British. Meanwhile, Tatya Tope and his men surround Samar Singh but Manu comes to his rescue. She informs Tatya Tope that Samar Singh had in fact saved her from wild animals. Gangadhar Rao has a change of heart learning about Motibais efforts to ensure that he encounters no problems in his marriage. Touched by her gesture, Gangadhar Rao goes to meet her at the temple. Samar Singh gives Manu the gold coin that was with the wedding token gifts from Bithur, and had gone missing from the palace at Jhansi. Episode 99Motibai welcomes Manu. She then taunts Manu that she would not be able to beget an heir for Jhansi because she is still a child. Jankibai and Lacho assure Gangadhar Rao that they will take care of Manu. After they leave, Gangadhar reveals to Raghunath that he had asked them to take care of Manu to foil their evil plans. Manu and Motibai are about to enter a temple when the priest stops them. He informs Manu that Motibai cannot enter the temple because she is a prostitute. Episode 100Manu reveals to Motibai that she will find out about the woman who conspired with the British to kill her. Motibai is frightened. Sakhubai complains to Gangadhar Rao that she was not given the opportunity to welcome Manu. When Motibai is about to leave the room, Manu tells Prachi that she will tell Gangadhar Rao about the woman who tried to kill her. Manu puts Motibai in a tighter spot when she decides to write a letter to Gangadhar Rao and tell him about the woman. Manu also has the proof to support her allegation - the gold coin that had gone missing from the palace. - Episode 101E101
Episode 101Manu discovers that the letter she had written to Gangadhar Rao as well as the gold coin is missing. Unknown to Manu, Motibai steals the letter to prevent Gangadhar Rao from learning the truth about her, and plans to send a letter to the king in Manus name. Tatya Guru offers gifts to the King of Jhansi ahead of the wedding. Gangadhar Rao spots a letter and instructs Dixit to read it. The contents of the letter shock Dixit. Motibai, who rejoices in anticipation of the success of her plan, is in for a shock, when Dixit astutely starts praising the king. When Tatya Guru learns from Dixit that Manu had in fact opposed marrying Gangadhar Rao in the letter, he seeks an explanation from her. Manu admits that she did write a letter but never sent it to Gangadhar Rao. - Episode 104E104
Episode 104Gangadhar returns the coin to Manu without recognising her. Manu vows to end the British rule in India and promises that Jhansi will be her motherland. A villager informs Manu that many times he has seen a woman dressed in black leaving the palace at night. Manu follows the woman and is shocked to know that the wall is actually a door that opens into Frasers premises. Manu is unable to enter as a guard stops her. Fraser is annoyed with Motibai for failing to teach Manu a lesson. Motibai has another plan for Manu and informs Fraser that Gangadhar would get angry to see Manu disguised as a courtesan and spying on him. When Motibai leaves Frasers premises, Manu follows her to the palace. Manu is shocked to know the woman is Motibai. - Episode 105E105
Episode 105Manu learns that the inmate from Jhansis palace, who made several attempts on her life, is none other than Motibai. Motibai confesses that her love for Gangadhar Rao was responsible for her acts. Just then, Gangadhar Rao arrives and disrupts their conversation. The king fails to recognise Manu as she is dressed as a commoner, and orders her arrest. A group of eunuchs enters the prison and offers sweets to the guards. When the soldiers fall unconscious, Samar Singh rescues Manu and helps her hide in the kings chariot to reach the palace. Motibai informs a worried Moropant that Gangadhar Rao is on his way to meet Manu to perform the wedding ritual. Motibai offers to take Manus place and go through the rituals so that Manus absence is not noticed. A terrified Moropant agrees to Motibais plan. Motibai gets dressed as the bride and savours being treated like a queen. However, her happiness is short-lived when Manu marches in, much to the relief of Moropant and Tatya Guru. - Episode 106E106
Episode 106The rituals get completed after Manu manages to reach the palace on time. Moropant orders Manu not to leave the palace until the wedding rituals are over. Fraser is surprised on learning that Samar Singh rescued Manu from prison. Motibai informs Gangadhar Rao that the person whom the king had sent to jail has escaped with the help of Samar Singh. Fraser reaches the palace and confirms the news. The British official provides further information to the King that Samar Singh plans to pray at the Durga temple later in the day. Gangadhar Rao decides that it is high time Samar Singh is punished for his wrongdoings. - Episode 107E107
Episode 107Manu informs Tatya Guru that she is aware of the woman who had conspired to kill her. She assures Tatya Guru that she will handle the lady all by herself. Later, she apologises to Moropant for creating problems for him. Motibai informs Manu that Gangadhar Rao has decided to finish off Samar Singh for trying to kill Manu. Meanwhile, during the ritual of applying turmeric paste before the wedding, the king leaves it midway and decides to kill Samar Singh. Motibai is happy, while Manu is shocked. - Episode 108E108
Episode 108Acting on the information that Samar Singh will arrive at the Durga temple, the British surround the place of worship However, they do not intend to kill the bandit as they have a different plan. When Gangadhar Rao arrives at the temple with the intention of punishing Samar Singh, a fight ensues between Samar Singh and him. However, Samar Singh only defends himself because he considers Manu his sister. The British capture Samar Singh deftly and replace him with one of their own swordsman disguised as the bandit. Gangadhar Rao fails to realise the British conspiracy. When Manu learns about the British treachery, she decides to rush to the temple. - Episode 109E109
Episode 109The fight between Gangadhar Rao and the man impersonating Samar Singh gets interrupted by a huge explosion. When the dust settles, Gangadhar Rao spots a letter. On reading it, Gangadhar Rao learns that his opponent is not Samar Singh and that the British conspired to kill him. Before Gangadhar Rao can finish reading the letter, Samar Singhs impersonator is fatally shot. Meanwhile, Manu manages to escape with an unconscious Samar Singh. However, the British soldiers are hot on her pursuit. Aware that Manu is not in the palace, Motibai tries to put her into trouble. She tries to inform Moropant about Manus absence. However, Prachi prevents Motibai from meeting Moropant. Gangadhar Rao tells Raghunath that Samar Singh maintained a defensive approach throughout the fight. When Fraser learns that Manu has rescued Samar Singh, he orders a curfew in the entire area to prevent Manu from entering the fort. Manu tries to enter the fort with a group of women but the British surround the group. - Episode 110E110
Episode 110Manu tells the British officers that if they force the women to lift their veils, she will complain to the king and accuse the officers of outraging their modesty. The women are allowed to proceed without being checked. Meanwhile, Motibai tries her best to make Gangadhar see that the girl participating in the prayers is not Manu. But when the bride lifts her veil after the prayers, it is indeed Manu. Motibai walks away in a huff. Gangadhar informs Manu that he has captured the bandit who had attacked her but is unable to punish him. Manu replies that because Samar Singh is repentant, forgiving him would be righteous. Manus answer pleases Gangadhar and he appreciates her wisdom. - Episode 111E111
Episode 111Motibai mocks Fraser for not being able to catch Manu. Fraser informs Motibai that if his plan had been successful, then both Samar Singh as well as Gangadhar Rao would have been dead. Motibai is shocked to learn that Fraser was planning to kill Gangadhar Rao. Meanwhile, Gangadhar Rao orders Fraser to find Samar Singh but alive. Manu informs Tatya Guru that some people from the palace are supporting the British but she vows to save Jhansi. Fraser is furious after he finds out that Motibai has refused to meet him. When Motibai eventually does visit Fraser, he gives her a gun and asks her to kill Gangadhar Rao. - Episode 112E112
Episode 112Fraser threatens to tell the truth about Motibai to Gangadhar Rao if she does not kill the king. Motibai is extremely worried because of her love for the king. During the mehendi ceremony (Application of the henna mixture), Manu recollects an incident which took place during Indus marriage where, the alphabet G was accidentally drawn on her hand, and she was told that she might get married to a person whose name starts with that letter. Later in the episode, Motibai is informed to get ready as Gangadhar Rao wants her to dance in front of Moghal Khan. - Episode 113E113
Episode 113Motibai decides to stage a play of the legendary love story of Nala and Damayanti, along with her dance performance. After getting Gangadhar Raos consent, she informs Fraser about it. Fraser finds her idea absurd but Motibai lies to him that she plans to kill Gangadhar Rao in the play. Motibai also invites Manu for the event. Later in the day, Indu applies henna on Gangadhar Raos hand and insists that she will write Manus entire name on his hand. Motibai witnesses the incident and falls on the king, thereby wiping away Manikarnikas name from his hand. Manu, who witnesses the entire scene, is worried. - Episode 114E114
Episode 114A girl named, Chimna, longs to see the future Queen of Jhansi and is delighted when she gets a chance to touch Manus hand. Motibai requests Manu to be part of her play, where Motibai would play the latters role. Meanwhile, after completing a religious ritual, Gangadhar Rao reminds Fraser to arrest Samar Singh as soon as possible. Samar Singh, dressed as a mendicant, meets Manu and reveals to her that Fraser and Motibai are conspiring again to create problems in Jhansi. Manu decides to find out what the conspiracy is all about. - Episode 115E115
Episode 115Motibai bribes the priest to solemnise Nala and Damayantis wedding in the play in such a way that she would be married to Gangadhar, and no one would be able to challenge its sanctity! Chimna overhears and decides to inform Manu. Meanwhile, Motibai requests Gangadhar Rao to play the role of Nala in the play. Gangadhar Rao agrees because everyone requests him. Manu voices her concern about Motibais ulterior motive in inviting her to the play. Jankibai, Lacho and Sakhubai inform Moropant that Gangadhar Rao has organised a musical function where Motibai would present a special performance. They say that they wish to dress up Manu for the event, much to her disapproval. Chimna manages to enter the musical programme secretly. Motibai dances before the king and others, and collapses while shes dancing. She confesses to Manu about her unbridled love for Gangadhar Rao. - Episode 116E116
Episode 116Fraser tells Lacho that he does not trust Motibai, so hands her a gun and asks her to shoot Gangadhar during the course of the play. Manu tends to Motibai who is unwell. Once she comes around, Motibai says that she must concentrate on her play the next day. Indu warns Manu not to be so kind to Motibai. Manu is unable to fathom the ulterior conspiracy behind the play. Motibai tells the priest her plan of action during the play. Chimna, dressed as a boy, is shocked to see Motibai in the palace. She hides in the storeroom and gets locked. Gangadhar warns Fraser to arrest Samar Singh before his marriage. Lacho tells Ali Bahadur about her plan to kill Gangadhar, and about Frasers support for her. Samar Singh, hiding in the other room, decides that he must find out about Frasers conspiracy. A jubilant Fraser presents Samar Singh in Gangadhar Raos court. Tatya Guru informs Manu about Samars arrest, and this gets Manu worried. - Episode 117E117
Episode 117Gangadhar demands to know from Samar Singh why he didnt fight with him, and why he had freed the person from prison, but Samar Singh does not answer. Samar Singh recalls how he had surrendered to Fraser and been warned not to tell Gangadhar the truth because Manu would be in trouble then. Gangadhar wants Samar Singh arrested but cannot as it is against the British law. Manu vows to free Samar Singh. She asks Tatya Guru to do the needful because she cannot go anywhere. Meanwhile, Lacho tells her son, Ali Bahadur, that she will kill the king during the play. Chimna finally manages to escape and meets Manu to inform her about Motibai engaging a priest to solemnise her wedding with Gangadhar. She says that the staging of the drama is a part of the plan because Motibai intends to marry Gangadhar Rao during the play. - Episode 118E118
Episode 118Motibai and Gangadhar Rao rehearse their lines for the play. The King is impressed with Motibais acting. Meanwhile, Manu vows that she would not let Motibai succeed in her plan. Tatya Guru warns Fraser not to challenge Queen Manikarnika. He threatens Fraser of dire consequence if he continues to torture Samar Singh. Later, Fraser asks Samar Singh why Manu wants to save him but he remains silent. When Manu prays in front of the Goddess for strength, the sword on the deity falls. Manu drags Motibai to Gangadhars court and exposes the courtesan in front of him and the assembly. She says that Motibai was an accomplice of the British and had plotted with them to kill Gangadhar. A furious Gangadhar Rao orders his men to imprison Motibai, and sentences her to death. - Episode 119E119
Episode 119Motibai is hanged to death. Manu comes back to reality with a jolt. She keeps the sword back near the deity and says that she will find another way to punish Motibai but would never take her life. Samar Singh lures a jail guard with hidden treasure and seeks his help in escaping from prison. Fraser tests Lachos archery skills and warns her that if she fails to kill the king and gets caught, then she would stand to lose her son. Samar Singh dressed as an English officer overhears this. Moropant refuses to let Manu watch the play, so she gets very worried. Jankibai and Indu are given flowers to be showered on Motibai and Gangadhar at the end of the play but they are not pleased about it. Sakaram comes to Jhansi and gives Moropant the gifts sent by Bajirao. Meanwhile, Lacho conceals the poisonous arrow in a musical instrument. The play begins and the entire hall is packed with court officials. Motibai vows that only she will be Gangadhars wife and the Queen of Jhansi. - Episode 120E120
Episode 120Moropant takes Manu away to meet Sakaram. Sakaram shows her the gifts that Bajirao has sent for her. Samar Singh disguised as one of the gift bearers informs Manu that Lacho has once again conspired with Fraser to kill the king during the course of the play. A worried Manu informs Tatya Guru about Lachos plan to kill the king, and about Motibais plot to turn the drama into a reality! Tatya Guru goes searching for Lacho. Motibai picks a poison bottle and vows that history will remember how a courtesan died in the arms of her loved one after marrying him, and how only she will be known as the Queen of Jhansi. As per the legendary tale of Nala-Damayanti, in the final scene of the play, Gangadhar appears as Nala in nine different forms. Lacho aims her arrow but is unsure who the real king is, so she waits for Damayanti to garland her loved one. Meanwhile, a maid sees Motibai lying unconscious. - Episode 121E121
Episode 121During the play, Manu takes over Motibais character. Manu risks her life and saves Gangadhar from the arrow shot by Lacho. Everyone thinks that it is Motibai who has protected Gangadhar. Even Gangadhar thinks that it was Motibai who saved him as Manu manages to get away. Lacho is caught red-handed by Tatya Tope who gets her before Gangadhar. Everyone is shocked. Ali Bahadur pretends to get angry and assaults Lacho. Gangadhar orders Lachos arrest. Gangadhar praises Motibai and rewards her. - Episode 122E122
Episode 122Moropant is shocked when he learns that Manu saved Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar is shocked that Lacho conspired to kill him. He asks Lacho who the brain behind this conspiracy is. Lacho does not tell him anything. Jankibai tries to point out to Gangadhar that from the time he decided to marry Manu, his life has been in danger. Motibai is worried that Lacho might name her as a conspirator. Manu sends a letter to Gangadhar Rao praising Motibai and her bravery. Motibai feels guilty. - Episode 123E123
Episode 123Gangadhar tells Motibai that Manu has praised her act of bravery. Motibai breathes a sigh of relief. Fraser is angry at Ali Bahadur as he has failed to get Lacho out of jail. Fraser is worried that Lacho might reveal his involvement in the conspiracy. Motibai wonders why Manu didnt tell Gangadhar the truth. Manu tells her that she is impressed with Motibais love for Gangadhar Rao. Motibai decides to teach Fraser a lesson. She attacks him but gets overpowered. Manu arrives there at the nick of time and saves Motibai from Fraser. Fraser turns the tables on Manu and is about to shoot Manu. - Episode 124E124
Episode 124Fraser is about to shoot Manu, but Tatya Tope rescues her. Fraser is surrounded by the Nari Sena (Womens Army) and Samar. Manu warns Fraser that if he does not mend his ways, he will be taught a lesson. Motibai is moved by Manus gesture. She whips herself as repentance for her deeds. Manu feels sorry for Motibai when she comes to know of how Motibai has punished herself. She worries that Motibai may try to harm herself. Motibai is very dejected and tries to commit suicide. Episode 125Motibai apologises to Manu for trying to harm her. Manu tells Motibai that she is still like her elder sister. Motibai pledges her undying support to Manu. Gangadhar asks Lacho who hatched the conspiracy to kill him; Lacho denies that anyone has helped her. Aaishri comes back from her self-imposed exile. Gangadhar shows Lacho bloodstained clothes of Ali. Lacho is shocked and tells Gangadhar about Fraser. But Ali Bahadur is not dead; it was a ploy used by Gangadhar to know the truth. Gangadhar banishes Lacho and Ali from Jhansi as punishment. Gangadhar Rao tells Fraser that he knows who the conspirator is but still tells him that he is in charge of the security of the future Queen of Jhansi. - Episode 126E126
Episode 126Fraser has to stand with his head bowed before Manu as he has been appointed by Gangadhar for her security. Gangadhar and Manu begin the sacred ritual of honouring the five elements. Gangadhar leaves the ritual midway when he comes to know that Aaishri has come back. Manu comes to know that Aaishri is the friend of Gangadhars mother. On the death of Gangadhars mother, Aaishri had pledged to look after him. Manu is moved hearing Aaishris story. Aaishri was sent away by Gangadhars elder brother. Episode 127Motibai and the other girls apply Uptan (turmeric paste) in the prenuptial ceremony. Manu and the girls are having fun when Aaishri visits Manu. Manu throws some turmeric on Aaishri. Manu apologises to Aaishri and so does Moropant. Manu offers her mothers collection of hymns to Aaishri as her first gift. Gangadhar asks Aaishri about Manu. Aaishri tells Gangadhar that she approves of Manu. Moropant is worried that Aaishri is angry with Manu. But Tatya Dixit tells Moropant that Aaishri has approved of Manu. Fraser decides to create unrest in Jhansi by causing a riot amongst the higher and lower castes. Fraser tells Jankibai that the Shudras (lower caste) are impersonating Brahmins (higher caste). Moropant is worried as the priest from Bithur is not able to come. Jankibai decides to use a lower caste person to solemnise Gangadhars wedding. She tells Fraser about her plan and how Aaishri will not allow the wedding to happen when she comes to know of this. - Episode 128E128
Episode 128The wedding preparations are in full swing. Manu remembers her mother and gets emotional. Motibai tells her that she will always stand by Manu as an elder sister. Moropant gets gifts for Gangadhars mother as per tradition. Gangadhar tells him that Aaishri is like a mother to him. Moropant invites her to the traditional wedding meal. Jankibai tries to instigate Aaishri by pointing out that the priest for the wedding has not yet come. Aashri gets angry and leaves the meal. Gangadhar and Manikarnika get ready for the wedding ceremony. - Episode 129E129
Episode 129Gangadhar and Manu get ready for the wedding ceremony. Moropant is worried that the priest has not yet arrived. Tatya Tope assures him that he will get the priest. Moropant is moved when he sees his daughter, Manu, dressed as a bride. Motibai wants to leave because a courtesan cannot attend the wedding but Manu tells her that she has to attend the wedding as an elder sister. Jankibai assures Moropant that she will get the priest to the temple. Manu tells Tatya Tope that she is waiting for Samar Singh. Fraser tells his soldiers to keep an eye for Samar. Samar arrives and Manu leaves for the temple. - Episode 130E130
Episode 130Manu and Gangadhar leave for the temple for the wedding ceremony. Janki sends her man dressed as a priest to solemnise the royal wedding. Manu is very happy that Samar has managed to come. He tells Manu that Motibai helped him. Fraser wants to nab Samar, but Samar manages to escape. Motibai and Manu are worried as the priest has not yet arrived. Moropant is worried too. Aaishri is not pleased as the rituals have not yet begun. At that moment, the man whom Janki has planted as the priest arrives. - Episode 131E131
Episode 131Aaishri tells the fake priest to recite the proper incantations for the marriage ceremony. Aaishri humiliates Motibai when she comes to know that Motibai is a courtesan and tells her to leave. Motibai is heartbroken at the humiliation. Motibai finds a man tied in a room and comes to know that he is the real priest who was to perform the wedding. Motibai brings him to the wedding avenue and exposes the imposter. - Episode 133E133
Episode 133Manu requests Gangadhar to allow Motibai to attend the wedding. Gangadhar agrees. The priest solemnizes the wedding of Gangadhar and Manu. After the wedding, everybody leaves for the palace of Jhansi. Manu gets upset that she is leaving her father. So she requests Gangadhar to let her meet him once again. Gangadhar lets her go. Moropant, too, gets emotional that his daughter is leaving him. Manu meets Moropant and they spend emotional moments before leaving for Gangadhars palace. - Episode 134E134
Episode 134The whole kingdom of Jhansi welcomes Gangadhar and Manu. Colonel Sleeman is confident that he will be able to annexe Jhansi as Manu will bear an heir only after a few years. Moropant tells Manu that she is now the Queen of Jhansi and henceforth responsible for her people. Gangadhar and Manu seek the blessings of Goddess Durga. Prachi meets Gangadhar and gives him a list of things that Manu does. Gangadhar smiles and tells her that Manu can do everything what she wants. Manu tells Tatya Tope that she wants to test her sword fighting skill before leaving. - Episode 135E135
Episode 135Manu and Tatya Tope have a sword fight for old times sake. Aaishri arrives and at the same time, Manu seeks Tatya Topes blessing Tatya Tope manages to hide the sword. Gangadhar promises Prachi that he will take good care of Manu. Sleeman is sure that Gangadhar will have to sign the treaty with them. Manu bids a tearful farewell to her father. Sleeman tells Fraser that he wants to meet Gangadhar in his court immediately. Manu is about to make an auspicious entry into the palace, when Fraser arrives and tells Gangadhar about Sleeman wanting to meet him. - Episode 136E136
Episode 136Fraser tells Gangadhar that Sleeman would like to meet him. Sakhubai taunts that Manu has brought ill-luck. Motibai defends Manu. Aaishri humiliates Motibai instead. She tells Motibai to leave. Gangadhar Rao declares Manikarnika as the Queen of Jhansi, and should be honoured and respected always. Aaishri tells Manu that she will teach her how to behave as a queen. Manu is pleased to see the grandeur of the palace. Moropant misses his daughter a lot. Even Manu misses her family and wonders how she will live without them. Jankibai worries that the British will declare Gangadhar Rao as the king. Sakhubai asks Manu why she is not ready to attend the court proceedings. When Jankibai and Sakhubai taunt that she is not invited to the court, Manu gets an invitation from Gangadhar to attend the royal court. - Episode 137E137
Episode 137Sleeman arrives in court to meet Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar Rao accepts the terms of the treaty on the condition that he is given the sole rights of administration to the Kingdom of Jhansi. Gangadhar Rao is declared the King of Jhansi with all administrative rights. The ministers congratulate Gangadhar and sing praises about the good fortune that Manikarnika has brought. Gangadhar Rao and Manu perform the post wedding rituals. Gangadhar has to rename his new bride. He tells the priest that he will declare the name in court. Manu wants to meet Moropant, but Aaishri refuses. Gangadhar, himself, goes to invite Moropant to Manus renaming ceremony. He expresses his happiness that Manikarnika has brought him good fortune. Aaishri tells Manu that she should learn to forget her father. Manu is delighted when Moropant comes to meet her. Aaishri is displeased and does not speak to Moropant. Aaishri expresses her displeasure to Gangadhar too. Gangadhar renames Manikarnika as Laxmibai. - Episode 138E138
Episode 138Gangadhar announces Manikarnikas new name as Queen Laxmibai to the people of Jhansi. Lacho laments that her dreams are over but Ali Bahadur assures her that she should not give up hope. Tatya Tope tells Moropant that he is amazed that Manu has become the Queen of Jhansi. Moropant is happy that his dream has come true. Sleeman tells Sakhubai and Jankibai that Gangadhar will have trouble repaying the loan. It will then be easy for Sakhubai to become the Queen of Jhansi. Sleeman is happy that the British rule is spreading. Manu tells Indu that she will request Gangadhar to let Prachi and her family stay with her. Gangadhar gets worried when he hears that the treasury is empty. Gangadhar refuses to levy more taxes on the subjects. Gangadhar tells his minister to give the message to Sleeman that he will repay the loan after three months. Sakhubai is happy that Gangadhar is in trouble. Queen Laxmibai desires to meet Gangadhar Rao but she wonders what shell talk to him. - Episode 139E139
Episode 139Gangadhar Rao is troubled as there are not enough funds to pay the British. He goes to Aaishri who tells him that it is the turn of his subjects to help him by paying extra taxes. Sakhubai tells Sleeman that he should reduce the time period given to Gangadhar Rao to pay the taxes. Aaishri tells Gangadhar to visit Guruji Maharaj. Laxmibai overhears Aaishri blessing Gangadhar Rao as he leaves. She also hears Aaishri telling her servant how she was successful in separating Manu and Gangadhar. Gangadhar tells Moropant to stay back in Jhansi. Jankibai tells Aaishri that Moropant and his family have been asked to stay back at Jhansi. Aaishri does not like this and insults Moropant indirectly. She tells him that he should live at Durgabai Wada and not in the palace. Laxmibai is practicing sword fight, and at that moment, Aaishri enters. - Episode 140E140
Episode 140Aaishri gets very angry when she finds Laxmibai practicing sword fight with the traditional sword of Nevalkar dynasty. She insults Laxmibai and asks her to promise her that she will never touch any sword ever. Laxmibai tells Aaishri that she will promise never to hold a sword if Aaishri will stop using her beads to pray. Moropant sees Aaishri taking Laxmibai somewhere and tries to interfere. But he is rebuffed by Aaishri. Moropant wonders if he took the right decision by getting Manu married to a king. Aaishri lectures Laxmibai on the duties of a woman. Motibai had decided to bring her to the palace and keep her as the Queen of Jhansi to save Laxmibai's marriage. Moropant informs Tatya Guru, that even he had helped Motibai but hadn't informed Manu. Motibai then tells Tatya Guru how she had received a letter that said Jhalkari's father wanted to meet her but on the way, she had got hit on the head. Meanwhile, Kranti Guru reaches the building and decides to follow Marshall to know about Samar Singh's whereabouts. - Episode 174E174
Episode 174Marshall kills his soldier who had betrayed him in Gangadhar's court and vows to find Kranti Guru. Marshalls men dress as civilians to trace her. Motibai apologises to Laxmibai for getting Jhalkari to the palace. However, she says that her intentions were noble. Motibai had come to Jhalakri's house and requested her father to allow Jhalkari to impersonate the Queen of Jhansi for a while. Lacho and her son who were hiding had later threatened Jhalkari to be the queen if she wanted to protect her family. Shivram invites Gangadhar and Aaishri for his daughter Chimnabais wedding with Moropant. Tatya Guru threatens Jhalkari to reveal the name of the person at whose behest she was continuing with the act, but Aaishri walks in just then. Later, when Aaishri sees Motibai in the palace, she reminds Motibai that courtesans are not allowed in the palace. - Episode 175E175
Episode 175Sakhubai threatens Jhalkari to listen to her, or her family would be in deep trouble. When Jhalkari voices her worries to Sakhubai, she replies that none can enter the Commissionerate. She reveals that Jhalkari would mix explosives during the prayers and hand it to the king. When Gangadhar would offer it in the fire, the ensuing explosion would kill him. Sakhubai wonders how Jhalkari still has the scar and wipes her face. She gets a shock of her life when she realises that it is not Jhalkari but the queen! Laxmibai escapes. Meanwhile, Gangadhar's hand gets accidentally burnt, so Jankibai displays a lot of concern. Seeing this, Jhalkari confides the truth to Jankibai about her identity and about Sakhubai and Lachos ploy to kill Gangadhar. However, Jhalkari is stunned when she realises that even Jankibai is supportive of Lacho and Sakhubais plan. Kranti Guru and Tatya Guru fight the men in the Commissioners building. - Episode 176E176
Episode 176Laxmibai and Tatya Guru free Jhalkari's father and brother. Jhalkari's father pleads with Laxmibai to free Jhalkari once, and they would leave Jhansi forever. Marshall is furious and says that they must have gone to Ganesha's temple. A worried Jhalkari goes to Aaishri and confides the truth to her. However, Jhalkari gets shocked to see that it is Lacho sitting in the guise of Aaishri! Lacho warns Jhalkari that she would kill her father and brother if she did not do as told. An upset Jhalkari finally decides not to worry about the consequence and tell the king the truth. She tries to expose her scar to him but Sakhubai covers her face. Meanwhile, Laxmibai meets Prachi and her other confidantes and says that she must reach the temple. The king waits for his queen to attend the religious ceremony but when Jhalkari heads towards him, she trips, and he holds her. - Episode 177E177
Episode 177The king does not see the mark on her face and asks her to be careful. Nusrat informs Lacho that Kranti Guru had escaped with Jhalkaris father and brother. Marshall alerts his men dressed as civilians to keep a watch for Kranti Guru. Marshall spots Motibai with a girl and realises that she must be the Queen of Jhansi, so he chases them. Marshall and his men surround them but when he unveils the girls face, he sees that it isnt the queen. Meanwhile, at the religious ceremony, Jhalkari is asked to bring the offerings for the king. Jhalkari suggests to the king to ask the elders Sakhubai and Jankibai to make the offerings first so that the family is blessed. Sakhubai realises that the girl is Laxmibai, not Jhalkari. But the shrewd Sakhubai suggests that Aaishri is the eldest and most respected member of the family, so she must make the offerings. Aaishri agrees. A worried Laxmibai then takes a knife from nearby and holds it near the king. Aaishri sees this and is shocked. - Episode 178E178
Episode 178Sakhubai and Jankibai make the offerings. An explosion ensues and they get burnt. Gangadhar thanks her for saving their lives once again. However, the king is worried about the mounting conspiracies against him. Indu is stunned to see two identical people. Laxmibai explains to her how Motibai had helped her go to the Ganesha temple, and how she had replaced Jhalkari to reach the ceremony. Jhalkari thanks Laxmibai and promises her that she is willing to do anything for her. Moropant too is happy to see his daughter back. A delighted Prachi informs Indu that she will celebrate her birthday with great splendour the next day. Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that untoward incidents in Jhansi have increased from the time Marshall has assumed office. Laxmibai goes to Sakhubai and Jankibai to warn them that if they ever think of harming Gangadhar again, then she would kill them. Aaishri overhears. - Episode 179E179
Episode 179Laxmibai covers up by telling Aaishri that she would kill those who would conspire against the king. Gangadhar accuses Marshall of spreading terror in Jhansi and warns him that if such an act is repeated, then he would be thrown out of Jhansi. Nobody wishes Prachi on her birthday, so she is very disappointed. Prachi goes with a plea to the king that everyone who forgot her birthday be punished. However, Prachi is delighted when everybody surprises her with gifts. Meanwhile, at the Commissionerate, a British officer informs Marhsall that the villagers were drawing water from their private land. Having found a reason to needle Laxmibai again, Marshall shouts at the villagers and thrashes them. Just then, Kranti Guru arrives and drags Marshall. Both of them then have a sword fight, and Laxmibai wins. However, she gives Marshall a chance and asks him to leave Jhansi. - Episode 180E180
Episode 180An injured Marshall comes to Gangadhars court and informs him that he would be leaving Jhansi for good. The villagers taunt Marshall for being a coward. Tatya Guru accompanies Marshall to make sure that he is out of Jhansis border. Meanwhile, the king gifts his queen a grand necklace, and she promises that she will have it removed only after her death. The painter at the palace sketches a portrait of the queen and king as well as that of Prachi. Moropant and Laxmibai are delighted and surprised to see Vahini Saheb grace the occasion of Moropants wedding. Aaishri taunts Vahini Saheb that Laxmibai was ignorant about the ways of a royal family, so she had to make great efforts to teach Laxmibai the same. Gangadhar insists that Vahini Saheb wait to till the Virat Mahotsav (A festival worshipping Goddess Durga). Moropant and Chimnabai get married. On the other hand, Marshall refuses to accept defeat and vows to destroy Jhansi. - Episode 181E181
Episode 181When Laxmibai welcomes Vahini Saheb to the palace and washes her feet, Aaishri walks in and taunts Vahini Saheb that its not befitting on the Queen of Jhansi to indulge in something so belittling. Vahini Saheb retorts that it is a mark of respect for ones elders. Aaishri taunts Vahini Saheb that the norms of her family are far superior. Meanwhile, impressed with the portrait of the king and queen, Gangadhar rewards Sukhlal, the painter, handsomely. Prachi too flaunts her portrait but regrets that Manu is not with her in it. Gangadhar insists that Vahini Saheb stay back for the festivity of Goddess Durga. Gangadhar asks Laxmibai to do the honours of pulling the chariot of the goddess first. Sleeman is surprised to see Marshall back in Jhansi, so Marshall informs him about his plot to kill Laxmibai. While Laxmibai is pulling the rope, an accomplice of Marshall plants a bomb on the rope and lights its string. Marshall and Sleeman wait in anticipation for the bomb to explode. - Episode 182E182
Episode 182Prachi complains to Laxmibai that she is unable to touch the rope, so Laxmibai gives her, her place. While Prachi is pulling the rope, she notices Marshall with his face covered and shouts out to Laxmibai. However, Laxmibai is unable to hear her amidst the noise and fanfare. The bomb detonates and Prachi is killed along with other people. Everybody is devastated with Prachis death. Preparations for Prachis last rites are on, and her foot and hand imprint is taken. Meanwhile, Marshall is furious that Laxmibai has escaped death once again. Sleeman suggests that he go underground for a few days to escape Laxmibais wrath. On the other hand, Gangadhar suddenly realises that Laxmibai is missing, so he personally goes to fetch her. When she does not open the door, Gangadhar orders that it be broken open. Aaishri sees a lifeless Laxmibai sitting and says that its important that she breaks down. - Episode 183E183
Episode 183Vahini Saheb tries her to best to make Laxmibai cry and see Prachi for one last time but Laxmibai remains unmoved. Gangadhar and Aaishri too attempt to bring her out of her stupor but of no avail. Aaishri says that it was Gods will but a furious Vahini Saheb retorts that she does not believe in a God who snatched an innocent child away. Prachi is cremated, and an air of gloom descends on everyone. Bajirao and Nana Saheb attend the funeral. Gangadhar returns to Laxmibai and tells her the teachings of Lord Krishna about death. He suggests that she go and collect Prachi's ashes. Laxmibai visits the crematorium and vows that she would not immerse Prachi's ashes until she sought vengeance for Prachi's death. - Episode 184E184
Episode 184Gangadhar orders his men to find the culprit of the heinous act immediately. Laxmibai refuses to give Prachis ashes to Vahini Saheb and declares that she would not immerse them until she brings justice for Prachi. Vahini Saheb begs Laxmibai to vent out her pain and cry. Laxmibai remains steadfast and refuses to give the ashes even to Bajjirao. Gangadhar promises Laxmibai to catch the culprit soon. When Sleeman comes to meet Gangadhar, the latter accuses Sleeman of looting them in the name of security. Sleeman retorts that internal security is not the concern of the British. It is announced that anyone who informs the king about the culprit would be awarded 5000 gold coins. Meanwhile, the other guards realise that their colleague, Lallan, knows how to make explosives and was not present on duty on the day of the blast. However, a scared Lallan clarifies that being a staunch devotee of the goddess; he had gone to attend the procession. Gangadhar, disguised as a guard, overhears. - Episode 185E185
Episode 185The Prime Minister and Raghunath inform Gangadhar that they have found no lead yet. It is announced that the reward for any information about the blast has been increased from 5000 gold coins to 8000. Somebody in the crowd utters Lallans name. Just then, Marshall who is in disguise takes Lallan away. Lallan retorts that he will tell the king the truth, so Marshall gets angry. Gangadhar, disguised as a commoner, follows Lallan but loses track. A murder confirms Gangadhar's suspicion about a conspiracy. Gangadhar then sees something in Lallan's hand. On the other hand, Marshall sees one medal missing from his coat. - Episode 186E186
Episode 186The Prime Minister informs Gangadhar that the medals for British officers are made by Jhansi's goldsmith, Samir Chandra. After Samir Chandra reads the initials on the medal, the Prime Minister says that it belongs to Marshall. Gangadhar asks the Prime Minister to give the 8000 gold coins to Lallan's wife. Gangadhar refrains from telling Laxmibai about Marshall for he fears she would ruin herself in flames of vengeance. A harried Sleeman denies that Marshall is in Jhansi despite being shown the medal by Gangadhar. A furious Sleeman orders Marshall to leave Jhansi immediately. Meanwhile, Lallan's wife is grateful for the gold coins, and thanks Laxmibai for being so understanding in spite of Lallan betraying her family at the behest of a British officer. When Laxmibai asks her who the officer was, Lallan's wife tells her that the British officer had one gold tooth. A shocked Laxmibai then recollects Prachi shouting out to her about Marshall at the procession. - Episode 187E187
Episode 187The Prime Ministers spy informs the king that Marshall is in the Commissionerate and the British plan to take Marshall away from Jhansi at the earliest. Laxmibai tells the king that such criminals deserve a death penalty and requests him to grant her the right to punish the culprit. He assures her that he would bring the culprit to her soon. Laxmibai tells her maids that she wishes to bathe and purify herself before the king brings the culprit to her but says that she would wash her face only after Prachi has been given justice. Tatya Guru and Kranti Guru set out to kill Marshall, and are surprised to see Samar Singh join them. The three get ready to face the challenge of finishing off Marhsall. - Episode 188E188
Episode 188Kranti Guru, Tatayguru and Samar aim their arrow to destroy the British ammunition but Gangadhar destroys it first. They are not able to see Gangadhar but join him in attacking the British. The officers get afraid seeing Kranti Gurus yellow flag. Kranti Guru, Tatayguru and Samar go to attack Marshall but get surrounded by the British soldiers. However, Gangadhar with his face covered comes to their rescue. A fierce battle ensues between the British soldiers and the four of them. Meanwhile, Sleeman brings the dead bodies of his soldiers to Gangadhar and demands justice. Raghunath reads Kranti Gurus letter that states she will punish Marshall within a day, and anybody who saves Marshall would meet with the same fate. - Episode 189E189
Episode 189Marshall asks the security guards to leave from the church because he is sure that when he was not attacked during the night, nobody would so, during the day! The procession of the goddess is underway, and the king tells Aaishri that he is hoping it goes off well this time. Kranti Guru and her army vow to finish off Marshall. Marshall goes out of the church and is confronted by Kranti Guru. He shoots her but she is unharmed. Kranti Guru narrates how her army had changed the bullets from his pistol. Episode 191Kranti Guru, Tatya Guru and Samar kill Marshall. People shower milk as offerings on Kranti Guru as a mark of gratitude and in the process, Kranti Gurus veil slips. The people realise that Kranti Guru is none other than their queen. A furious Sleeman demands to know where Kranti Guru is, and every person around claims that he is Kranti Guru! Meanwhile, Kranti Guru has walked away, with the king following her. She drops her sword and the king recalls it belonging to his queen. Gangadhar sees Kranti Guru immersing Prachi's ashes in the river. She then dips in the river, and is confronted by Gangadhar. Gangadhar is furious on learning the truth that his queen is Kranti Guru. Laxmibai tries to justify that she did everything only for the welfare of Jhansi. However, he demands to talk to his queen, not Kranti Guru. - Episode 192E192
Episode 192Gangadhar is furious at his betrayal. His conscience tries to convince him about Laxmibais noble intentions but in vain. Sleeman warns Gangadhar that East India Company would be compelled to snatch the administrative rights of Jhansi if the anarchy continues. However, he suggests that if Kranti Guru is also sent to Fort William along with Marshall's dead body within a day, then Gangadhar could continue to be the king. Laxmibai deeply regrets betraying Gangadhar's trust, and for forgetting her duties as a wife after Prachi's death. Gangadhar is furious with Laxmibai for not trusting her husband or the King of Jhansi. Laxmibai agrees to surrender herself to the British as Kranti Guru but the king warns her not to. He then gives her a days time to think whether she wants to remain the Queen of Jhansi or Kranti Guru. Once the king leaves, Laxmibai starts to clutch her stomach in pain. - Episode 193E193
Episode 193Aaishri tends to Laxmibai who is wincing in pain. All Aaishri tells Laxmibai is that she is ready to beget a child for Gangadhar, and asks her to stay in a separate room for 5 days. Jankibai and Sakhubai hear the news and are jealous that Jhansi would soon get an heir. Spears inform Gangadhar that a disheartened Sleeman has gone to Lucknow, and things could turn for the worse if Kranti Guru is not handed over to the British. Gangadhar bribes Spears into not mentioning in his report about Kranti Gurus involvement in Marshall's death. Meanwhile, Aaishri informs Gangadhar about Laxmibai coming of age. Later, she taunts Gangadhar for not keeping his wife in his clutches. Meanwhile, Laxmibai gets bathed after 5 days and is dressed up like a queen. The dilemma of having to give an answer to the kings ultimatum worries her. On the other hand, the king too awaits his queens reply. - Episode 195E195
Episode 195A worried Sunder informs Laxmibai that the guards would arrive soon as they have sensed an impostor in their midst. Laxmibai takes Samar to the kitchen and shows him the secret exit. Meanwhile, Gangadhar assures Spears that his soldiers would not interfere when Samar gets arrested. Sunder, who has her face covered, sees the king approaching. Thinking she is Laxmibai, Gangadhar tells her that he has decided to hand over Samar to the British for the welfare of Jhansi and requests her not to disrupt the plan. Aaishri arrives later and sees the queen fumbling and tense, so she lifts the veil and is shocked to see Sunder dressed as the queen. A frightened Sunder tells her everything what Gangadhar had told her. Aaishri warns Sunder not to reveal anything to Laxmibai. Sunder tries to speak to Laxmibai about Samar but is stopped by Aaishri. Samar reaches outside the palace but as he gallops on his horse, Spears and his men follow him. - Episode 196E196
Episode 196Motibai takes Laxmibai to the room where she is supposed to consummate her marriage with Gangadhar. Laxmbai cannot understand why the room has been decorated so splendidly. Gangadhar Rao orders Raghunath to beef up security for the night because the British would be arresting Samar. Raghunath informs Gangadhar that Samar would be moving out of Jhansi. Jankibai and Sakhubai inform Laxmibai that Gangadhar has given permission to the British to arrest Samar for killing Marshall so that she is not accused of his murder, but Laxmibai brushes it aside as a lie. However, Sunder comes to Laxmibai later and mentions the truth about Samar. Laxmibai rushes out of the palace secretly to save Samar. Meanwhile, Gangadhar is surprised not to find Laxmibai in the room. Raghunath informs Gangadhar that the queen had left the palace a while back. The British soldiers surround Samar, and a fierce battle ensues. Samar gets badly injured. - Episode 197E197
Episode 197The British soldiers go to arrest Samar but he fights them bravely. Spears aims to shoot Samar but just then, Laxmibai arrives and takes his gun away. She saves Samar from the British and asks him to go away from Jhansi. An enraged Gangadhar arrives a while later and feels totally betrayed as a husband and as the King of Jhansi, so he strips Laxmibai of all the rights of a queen, and says that she has no place in Jhansi now. Gangadhar Rao returns to the palace and announces that Manikarnika will never return to the palace. Laxmibai leaves her jewellery near the gates of palace. Lacho tells Sakhubai that dethroning Gangadhar would be her job. Tatya Guru and Moropant are shocked to know from Aaishri that Laxmibai is no longer the Queen of Jhansi or the wife of Gangadhar Rao. Aaishri blames Laxmibai for the troubles that they have had to face from the time she entered the palace. A heartbroken Laxmibai roams on the streets of Jhansi. - Episode 198E198
Episode 198Gangadhar refuses to conduct any proceedings in court for the day and warns everyone not to take Laxmibai's name. Spears tells his men that Marshall's death has made their job much easier because Indians would have now realised the consequence of challenging the British. Moropant and Tatya Guru are worried when they fail to find Laxmibai. He advises Moropant to stay back in Jhansi to keep an eye on the conspirators. Meanwhile, a group of ascetics find Laxmibai in an unconscious state in a jungle. Spears, who is also in the same jungle, is unable to see Laxmibai getting inside the bullock cart. When Spears confronts Acharya, he calls them thieves and orders them to leave Jhansi. Acharya replies that they will move out of Jhansi only if Gangadhar Rao orders them to leave as he is the king. An infuriated Spears is about to whip Acharya when Tatya Guru stops him. Tatya Guru reminds Spears he has no right to order anyone to leave Jhansi. - Episode 199E199
Episode 199Gangdhar is inconsolable at Laxmibais betrayal and starts to drink. Meanwhile, Sunder is inconsolable that the king had spoken to her about Samars arrest, thinking she was the queen. She decides to confess the truth to him. Sunder is about to meet Gangadhar but Aaishri stops her. Gangadhar's dove, Saawariya, brings Gangadhar's portrait to the place where Laxmibai is staying with the ascetics. However, just then, Shraddha, Acharyas daughter, arrives. Laxmibai reveals her name as Manu to them. A drunken Gangadhar Rao orders Motibai to dance, and she is forced to perform for him. However, he voices his displeasure at the way she danced, and collapses. Saawariya drops a flower on Gangadhar. On the other hand, Laxmbai prays to the Lord to protect Gangadhar. Sunder secretly enters Gangadhar's room and confesses the truth to him. - Episode 200E200
Episode 200Just when Sunder is about to reveal more, Aaishri takes her away and orders the guards to arrest Sunder. Meanwhile, Laxmibai is delighted to watch Acharya and his men practice sword fighting at the camp. Seeing the passion in her voice for her motherland, Acharya promises to teach Laxmibai sword fighting but Shraddha stops him. Acharya encourages Shraddha also to learn for self-defence but she refuses saying that he would always be there to protect her. Gangadhar is unable to forget Laxmibai, and by mistake calls Motibai by her name. Acharya seeks to meet Gangadhar but Raghunath says that he cannot because there would be no proceedings for the day. The palace guards say that after the queen has left, the king has gone back to his merry-making days. On the other hand, Spears and his men order Acharya's people to leave the camp but Acharya's boys rebel. The British officers thrash them badly. Spears then spots Shraddha and tries to rape her. However, he gets shocked to see Kranti Guru - Episode 201E201
Episode 201Spears is shocked when Kranti Guru comes to Shraddha's rescue. Shraddha wonders who she is. A British soldier is about to stab Kranti Guru when Acharya Sajanand saves her. Acharya reveals to his people who Kranti Guru is. Spears appears in Gangadhar's court. The Minister tells him that no decision can be taken in Gangadhar's absence. A frustrated Gangadhar Rao drinks heavily in Motibai's chamber. Aaishri goes to Motibai's chamber and provokes Gangadhar against Laxmibai and her activities. A furious Gangadhar goes to the court. Sunder asks Kashi to reveal the truth to Gangadhar, but she does not get an opportunity. Acharya teaches the finer techniques of sword fighting to Laxmibai. In the court, Gangadhar issues an order asking the `sanyasis' to leave Jhansi. He also says that if they wish to continue staying in Jhansi, they must hand over all those who had attacked the British, and if they are proved guilty, they will be hanged. Episode 202Sakhubai is pleased with Gangadhar's decision and feels that she will soon become the Queen of Jhansi. Kashi reveals everything to Motibai. Motibai is shocked to know that Aaishri does not want Gangadhar and Laxmibai to be together. She decides to inform Gangadhar about this. Meanwhile, Acharya and Laxmibai are shocked to hear Gangadhar's orders about the `sanyasis'. Motibai requests Khudabaksh to reveal the truth to Gangadhar. Aaishri comes to know that Khudabaksh is in Motibai's chamber, and deliberately sends Gangadhar there. Gangadhar gets angry to see Motibai with Khudabaksh, and asks his soldiers to arrest Motibai. She somehow escapes from their custody and reaches Gangadhar's court. Aaishri asks Gangadhar not to entertain a prostitute like Motibai. An angry Motibai tells Gangadhar that Aaishri is responsible for creating misunderstandings between him and Laxmibai. - Episode 203E203
Episode 203Gangadhar gets angry at Motibai when she alleges that Aaishri had tried to separate him from Laxmibai. But Motibai swears on God and reveals that Aaishri knew Sunder was pretending to be Laxmibai and Laxmibai was unaware that he had permitted the British to arrest Samar Singh. Gangadhar believes her and goes in search of Laxmibai. Raghunath insists on accompanying the King. Gangadhar apologises to Moropant for his behaviour. Meanwhile, Laxmibai and the group of `sanyasis' cross the Jhansi border. Gangadhar Rao goes to meet the `Rajguru' regarding his problems. Guruji tells him about the great ritual at Datiya, where `sanyasis' from all over the nation would be gathering. Gangadhar hopes to meet Laxmibai there. Meanwhile, Acharya tells his wife that one has to undergo rigorous tasks to prepare for the ritual. Laxmibai volunteers to perform the difficult tasks as she considers herself Acharya's second daughter. Acharya is touched. - Episode 204E204
Episode 204Laxmibai begins the intricate task of preparing for the ritual. Sakhubai plans to take advantage of Gangadhar's absence, and sit on the throne. But her plan is foiled when Gangadhar returns. Laxmibai is surprised to find Tatya Guru in Datiya, but she firmly refuses to go back with him. Laxmibai continues with the preparations without taking anyone's help. The `Rajguru'(Chief Guru) is very impressed and informs Laxmibai that King Gangadhar Rao will be attending the holy sacrifice. Gangadhar Rao is eager to meet his queen. Gangadhar Rao's soldiers take the disguise of pilgrims and begin searching for Laxmibai. After finishing her work, Laxmibai prepares to leave the venue, but she suddenly notices Gangadhar Rao's arrival. Gangadhar Rao meets Acharya and apologises to him. He also expresses his desire to personally apologise to every member of the hermitage. - Episode 205E205
Episode 205Laxmibai tries to avoid Gangadhar's view by escaping into the jungle. Gangadhar Rao comes to know that the 'sanyasis' have given shelter to a girl. Gangadhar Rao is sure that the girl is Laxmibai and begins to search for her. Spears sees Gangadhar and asks his soldiers to follow him. Sakhubai reveals to Jankibai that she has informed Spears that Gangadhar Rao is searching for Laxmibai in Datiya. Sakhubai conspires to kill Gangadhar with Spears' help. Raghunath follows Laxmibai and gets attacked. The hired assassins of the British, disguise as Gangadhar soldiers and attack him. Laxmibai reaches there on time and saves Gangadhar's life. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that Jhansi is awaiting its queen. Laxmibai says that he will also have to accept her as Kranti Guru because it is her duty to fight against the British. Gangadhar Rao remains silent. Therefore, she leaves from there. - Episode 206E206
Episode 206Gangadhar Rao is very upset by Laxmibai's absence. He announces that her dagger will represent her in the court. However, Moropant is sure that Gangadhar has met Laxmibai. Sakhubai is extremely pleased that Gangadhar Rao and Laxmibai are not together and cannot have an heir. She begins to conspire to kill Gangadhar. Laxmibai meets Samar Singh co-incidentally and is stirred on seeing his pitiable condition. Samar informs Laxmibai that some company officers are forcing villagers to grow opium. He also tells her about the increasing number of deaths in the village, due to the farming of opium. Laxmibai vows to teach the officers a lesson and motivates Samar to join hands with her. A villager named Karma announces that Gangadhar Rao is a traitor and their biggest enemy, because he gave away their villages to the British. Laxmibai is shocked. Episode 207Samar Singh tries to explain to Karma that Gangadhar Rao is not a traitor. But an agitated Karma interrupts him and vows to behead Gangadhar Rao within a year. Laxmibai gets furious and says that Gangadhar Rao is not an ordinary man. She asks the villagers to fight in unison against the British. The villagers are impressed by Laxmibai's words and pledge to oust the British from their country. Laxmibai and Samar Singh train the villagers to fight in the battlefield. Kranti Guru and the villagers attack the British in Araj. They defeat the British and free the villagers captured by them. Spears informs Gangadhar Rao about the incident. Gangadhar assures to investigate. But he and his ministers are pleased by Kranti Guru's action. A group of British soldiers surround Kranti Guru and are about to attack her. - Episode 208E208
Episode 208Laxmibai (Kranti Guru) continues with her nonstop efforts to fight against the British. The story takes a leap of a few years. Lord Dalhousie becomes the Governor General of India in 1848. He captures Satara and now intends to grab Jhansi. Karma wonders what connection Kranti Guru has with Gangadhar Rao. Spears informs Gangadhar Rao that the British treasury is going to be shifted from Jhansi to Gwalior for safety from dacoits. He asks Gangadhar to provide his soldiers, for escorting the treasure since the dacoits will not attack the soldiers of Jhansi. When Spears reveals that the leader of the dacoits is a woman, he guesses that the leader is Laxmibai. Gangadhar agrees to have security provided to the British provided they return the villages that they have captured. Spears agrees. Laxmibai and her group come to know about the transfer of the treasury. Gangadhar Rao hopes to meet Laxmibai soon. - Episode 209E209
Episode 209Kranti Guru and her group attack Spears and his troops who are travelling from Jhansi to Gwalior. They even manage to steal the treasure. On the other hand, Karma and his group attack Gangadhar and his soldiers in order to steal the remaining treasure. Karma is about to stab Gangadhar, but Laxmibai reaches there and saves him in the nick of time. In the court, Gangadhar tells his ministers that the leader of the dacoits must surely be very intelligent or else they would have not known about the treasure. Captain Martin tells Gangadhar that someone from the palace must be leaking out the information. He also informs that the East India Company has sent him to help. But Gangadhar refuses to take help. Martin tells him that the British wants their stolen treasure back. - Episode 210E210
Episode 210Kranti Guru reprimands Karma for trying to kill Gangadhar Rao. Karma angrily tells the villagers that Kranti Guru has some connection with Gangadhar Rao. He also expresses his suspicions about Laxmibai stealing the treasure. Just then, Samar Singh brings the treasure. The villagers are delighted and they praise Laxmibai. Spears asks Martin, why he asked Gangadhar Rao to recover their treasure from the dacoits. Martin says that by doing this, Gangadhar Rao and the dacoits will fight with each other and die. The festival of 'Vatasavitri' approaches. Gangadhar Rao and Laxmibai terribly miss each other. Laxmibai goes to the spot where she met Gangadhar Rao while saving him from Karma. Even Gangadhar Rao visits the same place, but they fail to see each other. Karma kills one of the group members and gets caught by the villagers. - Episode 211E211
Episode 211When Laxmibai asks Karma the reason for killing the man, Karma lies that the man was an informer of the British. On searching, a bag of gold coins is indeed found in the man's pocket. One of the group members decides to kill Karma. But Karma begs to her to save his life. She forgives him at Samar Singh's behest. Gangadhar Rao asks Raghunath Singh for a detailed report. Laxmibai tells Samar Singh that she is feeling bad about putting Gangadhar Rao in trouble after stealing the treasure. Laxmibai decides to send a peace proposal to Gangadhar Rao. Meanwhile, Gangadhar Rao sends a similar peace proposal to the revolutionaries that if they return the treasure, he will take the 11 villages back from the British and declare them tax free forever. A villager of Jhansi informs Spears and Martin about Gangadhar's peace proposal. Martin feels happy assuming that Gangadhar has walked into their trap. - Episode 213E213
Episode 213The `sanyasis' are shocked when they find a corpse whose head has been severed. They also find Gangadhar Rao's letter saying that he will take over the eleven villages from the British if the revolutionaries hand over the British treasure. Gangadhar Rao and his soldiers march towards the revolutionaries along with the British soldiers. Martin is sure that Gangadhar Rao will be either killed by the revolutionaries, or the British army will kill him. Meanwhile, the revolutionaries too prepare to fight with Gangadhar Rao. Karma finds the letter from Ganesh's corpse and realises that Laxmibai wants to establish peace with Gangadhar Rao. Karma burns the letter. Although Samar Singh notices the letter, Karma manages to hide its contents. The women from Laxmibai's group ask her to stop the war in order to avoid more deaths. When they try to fight with Gangadhar Rao, a group of women headed by Laxmibai comes between the two groups. - Episode 215E215
Episode 215Martin reprimands his men for not bringing Gangadhar's dead body and orders them to bring it. But when one of the men refuses to go, he gets killed. Laxmibai overhears Martin telling his men to search for Gangadhar Rao and kill him. Laxmibai concludes that it is not safe to shift Gangadhar Rao anywhere for treatment. Raghunath and the Prime Minister are worried on not finding Gangadhar Rao. The Prime Minister asks Raghunath to search for Gangadhar. Laxmibai somehow manages to hide Gangadhar in a hut. Outside the hut, Laxmibai is shocked to hear her people vowing to kill Gangadhar. Raghunath finds a dead body in the jungle whose face is unrecognisable, and assumes it to be Gangadhar Rao's. Karma comes to the village and tells everyone that Gangadhar has been killed. Everyone rejoices. Samar Singh informs Laxmibai about the same. Laxmibai is puzzled. Gangadhar Rao's body is brought to the palace. Everyone mourns over his death. - Episode 216E216
Episode 216Karma asks Martin if he will fulfill his promise of making him the Subedar (head) of the 11 villages. Martin angrily replies that the deal will be fulfilled only when they get their treasure back. At the palace where everyone is mourning over Gangadhar's death, Tatya Guru gets worried about Laxmibai. When Sakhubai and Jankibai shed false tears over Gangadhar's death, Lacho walks in. The Prime Minister reminds her that Gangadhar had asked her never to step into Jhansi again. Karma tells Samar that they should distribute the wealth amongst themselves, but Samar strongly opposes. Karma comes to know from Samar that only Laxmibai knows the whereabouts of the treasure. Spears and Martin come to the palace to pay their condolences to the deceased King of Jhansi. Lacho requests Spears to make her son Ali Bahadur the next king. At the same time, Sakhubai and Jankibai too try to bribe Spears and Martin for making them the next ruler. - Episode 217E217
Episode 217Laxmibai brings a physician in order to treat Gangadhar. When the physician sees Gangadhar, he refuses to treat him since he is an enemy. But Laxmibai explains to him that Gangadhar is a victim of the British conspiracies. Laxmibai requests the physician not to disclose to anyone that Gangadhar is alive. Tatya Guru feels that things are not as they appear to be. Meanwhile, a devastated Motibai insists on taking imprints of Gangadhar Rao's feet, as his remembrance. The physician lies that he had gone to treat Laxmibai who was injured while practicing sword fighting. After hearing about Gangadhar's death, Lord Dalhousie passes a law in order to capture Jhansi. Karma discreetly enters Laxmibai's hut to search for the treasure. But Samar Singh catches him. The supposed corpse of Gangadhar Rao is taken for cremation. No one pays heed to Moropant's request to wait for Laxmibai. Motibai reveals that there is a mark under Gangadhar's foot, which was missing from the corpse. - Episode 218E218
Episode 218Jhansi's Prime Minister and Raghunath are elated to know that Gangadhar Rao is alive. When Raghunath is about to tell everyone, the Prime Minister stops him saying that Gangadhar's enemies could try to harm him again. Tatya Guru decides to find Gangadhar Rao immediately. Laxmibai decides to hide her identity from Gangadhar. Samar happens to address her as Manu. Karma asks Laxmibai the reason for visiting the physician. She lies that her foot had got sprained. Tatya Guru overhears Martin telling Spears that the East India Company will take over Jhansi within 48 hours of Gangadhar Rao's death, under the doctrine of lapse. Meanwhile, Gangadhar regains consciousness. Laxmibai takes the disguise of a man and introduces herself as Raja. Raja asks Gangadhar if Laxmibai had indeed betrayed him. Gangadhar reveals that it was he who has betrayed her. Raja asks him if he will accept the Laxmibai as the Queen of Jhansi if she is really the head of the revolutionaries. - Episode 219E219
Episode 219Gangadhar says that he will never accept the leader of the revolutionaries as his wife. Martin tells Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho that if Laxmibai does not return to the palace within 48 hours, the British will decide who will take over the throne. Moropant arrives and announces that only Laxmibai can take that decision. Moropant reveals that Gangadhar and Laxmibai are alive. At this, Martin says that if Gangadhar Rao does not arrive within 48 hours, the throne will be taken over by someone else. . Tatya Guru, who is search of Gangadhar Rao, meets Samar and tells him that he needs to find Gangadhar at the earliest. Samar tells him that he knows where Gangadhar is and promises that Gangadhar will reach the palace safely. At the palace, Martin announces that if Gangadhar does not arrive within 48 hours, the East India Company will take over Jhansi. Karma keeps a watch over Samar when he goes to Laxmibai's hut. Karma is shocked to see Gangadhar Rao alive. - Episode 220E220
Episode 220Laxmibai tells Samar Singh that she will take Gangadhar Rao back to Jhansi, along with the treasure. She also tells him that Gangadhar had made a deal with the British to give him the administrative powers of 11 villages if he returns the treasure. Karma overhears their conversation and instigates the villagers to kill Gangadhar and acquire the treasure. Lord Dalhousie sends a letter to Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho asking them to vacate the palace by next morning. Karma and his group of revolutionaries try to stop Laxmibai from taking Gangadhar Rao to Jhansi. But Laxmibai vows to kill anyone who tries to stop her. Karma asks Laxmibai what relation she has with Gangadhar. Tatya Guru arrives and explains to the revolutionaries, how important it is for Gangadhar Rao to return to Jhansi. Inspite of this, Karma rushes ahead to kill Gangadhar, but Laxmibai counterattacks him. Laxmibai promises the villagers that she will never break their trust. - Episode 221E221
Episode 221Karma forces some of the revolutionaries to attack Laxmibai. But Tatya Guru and Acharya fight against them, and Laxmibai leaves. On the way, Laxmibai takes the disguise of Raja. Karma tries to follow Laxmibai, but gets fooled. Gangadhar regains consciousness when they are on the way. Upon reaching the Jhansi border, Laxmibai notices British soldiers posted all over. Just then, a British battalion which is on its way to the palace passes by. Laxmibai thinks of a plan. At the palace, Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho get ready to leave the palace. Martin is about to hoist the English flag on Jhansi fort, when the battalion arrives. An officer from the battalion asks him to stop. And the officer turns out to none other than Gangadhar Rao himself. Everyone is happy to see him. Gangadhar hoists the flag of Jhansi. - Episode 222E222
Episode 222Gangadhar alleges that Martin took advantage of the rumors of his death and tried to take over Jhansi. Tatya Guru asks Laxmibai to reveal her identity to everyone. But she wants to wait for the right time. When Gangadhar addresses his subjects, Karma is present there in a disguise. Gangadhar tells his people that his life was saved by Raja who has also returned the British treasure. Gangadhar also assures to take back the administration of the 11 villages. Karma wonders who Raja is. Meanwhile, Laxmibai leaves from there. Tatya Guru reveals to Moropant that Raja was none other than Manu herself. Laxmibai returns to her camp and assures the revolutionaries that the British will soon return the 11 villages. Gangadhar decides to return the treasure to the British in order to get the powers of the 11 villages. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho apologise to Gangadhar, and he forgives them. Laxmibai hopes that the hatred of the villagers towards Gangadhar vanishes soon. - Episode 223E223
Episode 223Gangadhar Rao returns the treasure to Martin, but he insists on seeing the treasure first. When Martin gets the chests opened, he finds only rocks instead of the treasure. Martin is furious and accuses Gangadhar of cheating the East India Company. He also says that Gangadhar is not fit to sit on the throne. Gangadhar Rao tells Martin that it could be a conspiracy against him. Martin apologises to Gangadhar but also announces that he has to receive the treasure within 24 hours. It is revealed that Karma had stolen the treasure. Moropant arrives at Laxmibai's camp to meet her. When he asks her to come back to Jhansi, she tells him she will return only when Gangadhar Rao gets the 11 villages. Moropant reveals to her that the treasure has been stolen. Laxmibai is shocked, but she is sure that Karma is behind the theft. Karma goes to meet Martin and tries to strike a deal. Karma offers to give good news to Martin if he makes him the `Subedar' of the 11 villages. - Episode 224E224
Episode 224Laxmibai fails to find the treasure and decides to kill herself by self-immolation. When Acharya is about to light the pyre, his disciples try to stop him. However, Karma snatches the torch and lights the pyre. Assuming Laxmibai to be dead, Karma declares himself the Subedar of the village and also asks Samar and Acharya to leave the village. Laxmibai escapes through a secret passage with the help of Samar Singh and Acharya Sajanand. As expected by Laxmibai, Karma tries to take the treasure out from its secret location. When Karma goes to meet Martin, Laxmibai stealthily follows him. Karma gives the treasure to Martin and asks him to make him the Subedar of the eleven villages. Martin gives him a document declaring him the Subedar of 11 villages, but Karma is shocked when Martin stabs him. Laxmibai is surprised to hear Karma's screams. Laxmibai finds Karma in a critical state. Karma is surprised to see Laxmibai alive. - Episode 225E225
Episode 225Karma asks Laxmibai her true identity. She answers by saying that she is an Indian. Laxmibai decides to treat Karma and thinks of searching the treasure herself. Karma repents for his past behaviour and begs to Laxmibai to forgive him. Laxmibai and Samar somehow steal the treasure from Martin's men. Laxmibai sends the treasure to Gangadhar Rao along with a letter saying that the treasure was stolen by the British so that he does not get the administration of the eleven villages. Gangadhar Rao calls Martin to the palace and rebukes him for forcing him to pay for the treasure that was stolen by the enemies. Martin says that the treasure was stolen under his (Gangadhar's) jurisdiction. Gangadhar Rao announces that he is going to get the eleven villages for himself since he has the treasure in his possession. Martin is stunned when Gangadhar Rao soldiers bring the treasure before him. - Episode 226E226
Episode 226Martin is shocked to see that Gangadhar has managed to retrieve the treasure. Gangadhar asks Martin to come to the village, where he will hand over the treasure and take the administrative powers of the 11 villages. Martin feels humiliated and decides that he will not let Gangadhar take over the villages. The villagers are also happy to know that Laxmibai successfully took the treasure from Martin and handed it over to Gangadhar. Gangadhar arrives to the village to sign the treaty. Martin arrives at the village and is enraged to see Karma alive. He refuses to sign the treaty and keeps a condition that Karma will have to lick his shoes. Gangadhar gets angry at Martin, but Martin still raises his gun to shoot Karma. Raja (Laxmibai) intervenes and saves Karma. Raja challenges Martin to a duel using English weapons. Martin accepts the challenge. The contest is scheduled for the next day. - Episode 227E227
Episode 227Raja seeks Gangadhar's blessings for the duel. Gangadhar asks Samar Singh about Laxmibai's whereabouts. Samar says that he knows where she is, but has promised Laxmibai that he will keep it a secret. Samar criticizes Gangadhar for not understanding Laxmibai and compelling her to leave the palace. Karma overhears them and realises that Rani is actually Maharani Laxmibai. Karma apologises to Rani and pleads to forgive him. Laxmibai forgives him and makes him promise that he will never tell the truth to anyone. Samar tells Laxmibai that Gangadhar is repenting for his past behaviour. Meanwhile, Gangadhar prays to God to unite him with Laxmibai soon. The day of the duel arrives. Everyone gathers at the ground. It is announced that an extremely violent man named Pascal will fight on behalf of Martin. Everyone is shocked to see him. Just then, Raja (Laxmibai) arrives there. - Episode 228E228
Episode 228Gangadhar and the others are shocked to see the huge man standing to fight against Raja. Martin announces the rules that there are no rules and the fighters can use any weapon they wish. Gangadhar Rao objects to Martin's decision. Martin asks if they have any one to replace Raja. But Raja accuses Martin of being a coward and participating in the fight himself. Raja says that he wants to fight, and asks Gangadhar Rao not to withdraw. The duel begins. Raja evades every attack from Pascal and snatches all his weapons. Fearing defeat, Martin announces the end of the first round. Even in the second round, Raja is ahead of Pascal. Raja throws Pascal on the ground. But Pascal throws a powder given by Martin, into Raja's eyes. Raja becomes temporarily blind. - Episode 230E230
Episode 230A villager thanks Gangadhar Rao for freeing them for the British. Gangadhar Rao gives the credit to Laxmibai. Tatya Guru asks Laxmibai to return to the palace. But she refuses. Gangadhar feels disappointed to see Laxmibai leaving from there. He follows her. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho are shocked when Motibai tells them that the girl who won against Pascal is Maharani Laxmibai. Spears is very upset that Fort Williams accepted his resignation. Everyone is sure that Gangadhar Rao will return to the palace with Laxmibai. But Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho refuse to believe that the girl is indeed Laxmibai. Meanwhile, Laxmibai reaches a temple and faints. Gangadhar goes to help her. Laxmibai gains consciousness and initially gets angry with him. She refuses to return with him as she believes that he will still not accept as his queen as well as Kranti Guru. But Gangadhar Rao says that he is ready to accept her in both the forms. - Episode 231E231
Episode 231Gangadhar Rao and Laxmibai decide to return to the palace. The villagers are pleased to see them together. Gangadhar thanks the villagers for their love and support towards Laxmibai. The women of the village decorate Laxmibai. Meanwhile in Bithur, Vahini Saheb receives a message from Gangadhar Rao that Manu is returning back to Jhansi, and they have been invited to bless them. A delighted Vahini Saheb informs about this to Bajirao and Nana Saheb. Bajirao asks Vahini Saheb and Nana Saheb to go without him, since he is unwell. He also prohibits Vahini Saheb from telling Manu about his ill health. The villagers thank Laxmibai for what she has done for them. Laxmibai bids farewell to the villagers. - Episode 232E232
Episode 232Laxmibai returns to Jhansi and the subjects are overjoyed. Laxmibai is overwhelmed with emotions on entering the palace after several years. Laxmibai is even more pleased to see Vahini Saheb and Nana Saheb. When Gangadhar asks Sakhubai, Lacho and Jankibai to bless Laxmibai, Sakhubai refuses to do so and asks for a proof that she is indeed Laxmibai. Gangadhar gets furious. But Laxmibai goes towards her and whispers that she knows that she (Sakhubai) had stolen Gangadhar Rao's treasure. Laxmibai threatens to expose her misdeed. Sakhubai panics and quickly blesses Laxmibai saying that she was only testing her. Gangadhar Rao wishes to spend time with Laxmibai. But Vahini Saheb takes Laxmibai with her saying that she needs rest. Gangadhar is disappointed. - Episode 233E233
Episode 233Laxmibai is overwhelmed to see her portraits that Gangadhar had painted in her absence. Some British officers Malcolm and Ross tell Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho that they should see to it that Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao do not consummate their marriage. If they succeed in doing that, the British officers promise to give them the administrative powers of Jhansi. The British officers suggest that they should use Vahini Saheb for this purpose. Meanwhile, Vahini Saheb asks Laxmibai's maids about Laxmibai's whereabouts. The maids do not reveal that she is with Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar and Laxmibai spend some romantic moments with each other. Gangadhar shows her a sculpture made by him, whose face is incomplete because he didn't know how she looked now. - Episode 234E234
Episode 234Laxmibai's maid Kashi comes to Gangadhar's room and informs Laxmibai that Vahini Saheb is searching for her, to get a `puja' performed through her. Laxmibai gets worried and is about to leave the room, when Vahini Saheb reaches there, Gangadhar quickly makes her hide inside and lies to Vahini Saheb that Laxmibai is not in the room. Vahini Saheb leaves. Laxmibai leaves too. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho try to instigate Vahini Saheb against Laxmibai saying that she was responsible for Prachi's death. Vahini Saheb gets furious at them for trying to brainwash her against Laxmibai. She also reminds them that they are able to stay in the palace only due to Laxmibai. Nanasaheb challenges Laxmibai for a swordfight. Laxmibai tells him that she has to go for a `puja'. But when Nanasaheb provokes her, she gets ready to fight. She defeats Nana saheb. Just then, Gangadhar reaches there and challenges Laxmibai for a fight. She agrees. - Episode 236E236
Episode 236Gangadhar Rao seeks the blessings of Tatya Dixit, before going to his chamber to meet Laxmibai. A priest tells the Prime Minister that Tatya Dixit's calculation regarding the auspicious time for the consummation of Gangadhar and Laxmibai's marriage is wrong and could cause disaster. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho are delighted. Unaware of these happenings, Laxmibai shows reluctance in getting intimate to Gangadhar, claiming that she is not mentally prepared yet. Tatya Dixit feels offended at the priest's allegation and decided to demand justice from the king. Gangadhar understands Laxmibai's situation and supports her. Laxmibai accompanies him to the court. Gangadhar is surprised to see Tatya Dixit demanding justice. The priest reveals that Tatya Dixit miscalculated because he had referred to an old almanac. Sakhubai instantly says that if Gangadhar had consummated the marriage, he would've died. - Episode 237E237
Episode 237Laxmibai is moved to see the pain in Tatya Dixit eyes when he congratulates the new royal priest. She tells Tatya that Gangadhar has only retired him from his services, but he can continue to advice the King on a personal note. Later, Laxmibai is deeply engrossed in praying to Lord Krishna when the accessories of the idol accidentally catch fire. Kashi comes in the nick of time and extinguishes the fire. Laxmibai asks Kashi to get new accessories. As soon as Kashi leaves, a new maid comes and hands over accessories to Laxmibai. When Laxmibai asks her identity, she claims to be the new maid and says that this idol of Lord Krishna has been given to her so that the heir of Jhansi is always protected. Ross and Malcolm, along with Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho plan to use a loyal servant of Gangadhar Rao as their pawn. They approach Gangadhar Rao and tell him that the Rajputs of Bundelkhand are terrorising and looting people, and so they have decided to take action against the dacoits. - Episode 238E238

Episode 239Raghunath feels humiliated when Gangadhar sends Tatya Tope instead of him. Laxmibai later meets him and explains that the British were planning to use him against his fellow Rajputs so that they can divide them and rule. Raghunath thanks Laxmibai for making him see the reality. Gangadhar is highly impressed with Laxmibai's intelligence and gives her the Nevalkar's Royal Sword which is a hereditary weapon of the family. Gangadhar says that he is sure she will hand over the Royal Sword to the heir of their family. Tatya Dixit conducts a `puja' for the bright future of Gangadhar and Laxmibai, during which Gangadhar's shawl accidentally catches fire. Jankibai comments that is an inauspicious omen. Tatya Dixit says that King faces a threat to his life for a certain period of time. Hence, Tatya chants a hymn for the well-being of the King. Laxmibai too prays in her chamber. Seeing Laxmibai engrossed in prayer, the new maid carefully looks at the entire chamber and notices the Royal Sword. - Episode 240E240
Episode 240Sakhubai, Lacho and Jankibai discuss how their pawn would soon poison the tip of the sword that Laxmibai would use in the fight against Gangadhar. Meanwhile, Laxmibai notices footmarks of mud in her room. Interestingly, Raghunath too had washed his feet earlier because they were soiled in mud. When Sunder comes in, Laxmibai notices that her feet too are soiled. Laxmibai and Gangadhar begin their sword fight. However, Sunder interrupts and says that an ascetic at the palace door was willing to accept donations only from the queen. Laxmibai rushes to the palace gate and asks the ascetic what she wants. The ascetic demands the royal sword that Gangadhar had gifted her. She suggests that Laxmibai first purify the sword in milk before giving it away. However, Laxmibai is horrified to see the milk turn black after the sword is immersed in it. Sunder says that the sword must have been laced with poison. - Episode 241E241
Episode 241Laxmibai is unable to trace the ascetic. A worried Laxmibai goes to meet Gangadhar but does not tell him the truth. When a black cat jumps out of Gangadhar's cupboard, her suspicion about a conspiracy gets confirmed. The royal physician tests the sword and says that it has been laced with poison. When he tells Laxmibai that he had used the book last in the palace, she realises that the conspirator is from the palace itself. She confronts Sakhubai, Lacho and Jankibai with a sword. They are terrified, so she asks them what's so dangerous about the sword. Laxmibai warns them not to ever harm Gangadhar. Meanwhile, Laxmibai confronts an unidentified man. On the other hand, Gangadhar waits for his queen in his court. Ross and Malcolm complain to Gangadhar that the situation in Bundelkhand has not been brought under control in spite of sending Tatya Tope. - Episode 242E242
Episode 242Gangadhar is furious that his queen is missing. Sunder mentions that Laxmibai had earlier met the royal physician and later, she had met Jankibai, Sakhubai and Lacho and argued with them. The physician informs the king that the queen had summoned him to inquire about the sword being laced with poison. Gangadhar blames the Prime Minister and Raghunath for the lax in security. Sakhubai asks the man with his face covered where the queen is. When he says that she is not with him, Sakhubai wonders where the queen is. An old woman approaches Laxmibai and says that she is mother of the maid who gave her the message to reach the place. She gives her an anklet and says that it will protect her husband. Laxmibai returns to the palace in the middle of the night and spots a person near their chamber. However, the person escapes. Gangadhar assures her that they would fight all the conspiracies together, and that he would remain unharmed as long as she was with him. - Episode 243E243
Episode 243Laxmibai wonders who the culprit is, and begins to doubt Raghunath, Tatya Dixit and Narsing Rao, the Prime Minister. Laxmibai calls them separately and says that she suspects the other two to be the conspirators. She asks each one to report any suspicious activity of the other two. Laxmibai also asks Sunder and Kashi to search the homes of the three men for any suspicious objects. The maids bring incriminating evidences from each of the three men's home, so Laxmibai wonders if all of them are involved. When Tatya Dixit informs her that someone is performing black magic on Gangadhar, she decides to get to the root of the issue. Laxmibai later receives a letter asking her to come to Goddess Kali's temple to know the truth about the conspiracies and the black magic being performed in the palace. Meanwhile, Sakhubai tells Lacho and Jankibai that while Gangadhar would be performing the religious ceremony at Lord Shiva's temple, a mishap would occur that would kill him. - Episode 244E244
Episode 244Raghunath and the Prime Minister request Gangadhar separately to allow them to come to Lord Shiva's temple for the religious ceremony. Laxmibai decides to go Goddess Kali's temple and asks her maids to keep an eye on the king while she is away. Meanwhile, at Lord Shiva's temple, the rope to which the temple bell is attached catches fire, while Gangadhar stands below it to pray. On the other hand, a mysterious lady appears at Goddess Kali's temple and gives Laxmibai offerings. She advises her to pray to the sky and earth at Lord Shiva's temple. Laxmibai reaches the temple, and Gangadhar and she offer their prayers to the Lord. Laxmibai recalls what the mysterious lady had asked her to do, and when she looks up, she sees the temple bell falling on the king. She rushes towards him and pushes him. However, she gets hurt and collapses. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that she must have known about the conspiracy beforehand, so he asks her who the culprit is. - Episode 245E245
Episode 245Laxmibai decides not to tell Gangadhar anything until she gathers enough proof against the conspirators, so she says that even she does not know who they are, and that she only happened to see the bell falling on him. Tatya Dixit gets medicines for Laxmibai, but Gangadhar wants it tested first. When Gangadhar is satisfied, he asks Tatya Dixit to give his queen the medicine. However, Tatya Dixit pours medicine from another pouch into the milk, and Laxmibai drinks it. Gangadhar tells Laxmibai that he is going to Lord Shiva's temple so that the evidences are not tampered with. Gangadhar inspects the burnt rope in the temple and investigates the cause. Tatya Dixit apologises to Laxmibai for the untoward incident as he was in charge of the ceremony. Meanwhile, Sakhubai and her accomplices hope that this time their pawn would not miss his target.Tatya Dixit assures the conspiring ladies that he has personally administered poison to Laxmibai, and she would not be able to save the king now. - Episode 246E246
Episode 246Sakhubai and her accomplices monitor Malcolm's men placing spears on the riverbed so that Gangadhar would get killed when he would come to bathe in the pond. On the other hand, Tatya Dixit visits the queen. He tells the king that her condition is deteriorating and it could be result of someone performing black magic on her. He advises the king to cleanse himself in the pond and perform a ritual so that she improves. On his way out, many pouches fall from Tatya Dixit's bag. Laxmibai realises that all of them look the same and that he must have used another pouch while testing for poison. The queen tries her best to alert the king but is unable to speak. The king leaves to go to the pond with Tatya Dixit. Laxmibai recalls the mysterious lady warning her to save Gangadhar from water and fire. - Episode 247E247
Episode 247The mysterious lady goes to Motibai and tells her that Laxmibai is serious as she appears to have consumed something poisonous. She returns to Laxmibai's chamber and urges Laxmibai to get up and save the king. Motibai arrives just then with a flower that brings Laxmibai to her consciousness. When Raghunath and the Prime Minister hear that the king has left from the secret exit, both of them think that the other one is the conspirator. A fight ensues and they then realise that Tatya Dixit is the culprit. Meanwhile, Tatya Dixit tells the king that he must jump into the pond and come to the temple after that. Tatya Dixit then goes to Goddess Kali's temple and performs black magic. Laxmibai gallops on her horse to reach her husband, while he readies himself to jump into the pond. - Episode 248E248
Episode 248Raghunath and the Prime Minister go to help Gangadhar. The mysterious lady prays for the king and queen's well-being, and throws the glass lamp in frustration. The lamp breaks into pieces. At the same time, Gangadhar steps on a piece of glass and his foot starts to bleed. Tatya Dixit continues to perform black magic and demands Gangadhar's blood! Meanwhile, Gangadhar removes the glass piece and moves ahead for the plunge. She is shocked to see Laxmibai approaching towards Gangadhar and warning him just in time not to jump. A stunned Malcolm orders his men to attack Gangadhar and Laxmibai. The two fight the soldiers, and Laxmibai reveals to Gangadhar that his trusted confidante, Tatya Dixit, is one of the conspirators involved in having him killed. Laxmibai and Gangadhar escape on a horse but Malcolm orders his men to follow them. A furious Malcolm comes to Goddess Kali's temple and stabs Tatya Dixit because his plan had failed. - Episode 249E249
Episode 249Tatya Dixit confesses his crime to Raghunath and the Prime Minister, and says that Gangadhar and Laxmibai are in danger. However, he passes out before telling the names of the conspirators. Raghunath and the Prime Minister set out with troops to find the king and queen. Meanwhile, Gangadhar and Laxmibai take refuge in an abandoned temple. Gangadhar thanks Laxmibai for saving his life innumerable times. Gangadhar and Laxmibai finally consummate their marriage as Raghunath, the Prime Minister and their men battle Malcolm's soldiers bravely outside the temple. Raghunath and the Prime Minister get badly injured and collapse. Meanwhile, Malcolm, seething with rage over his failure to kill Gangadhar and Laxmibai, decides to burn their palace. - Episode 250E250
Episode 250Gangadhar thanks Laxmibai again. She tells Gangadhar how a woman had come in the guise of a maid and an ascetic, and saved her many times. Meanwhile, Malcolm also sets the temple in which Gangadhar and Laxmibai are hiding, on fire. This time too, the same woman who has her face covered appears and guides them to safety. Seeing Gangadhar and Laxmibai coming out of the temple, Malcolm and his officer aim their guns at them. Just then, a gravely injured Tatya Dixit foils their attempt but gets shot. The officers escape. Laxmibai requests Gangadhar to have Tatya Dixit's last rites done with full honours. Later, Laxmibai describes to the artist the woman who had saved her several times. The artist sketches her portrait. Moropant arrives just then to welcome Gangadhar and Laxmibai. He is stunned seeing the portrait. - Episode 251E251
Episode 251Moropant is dumbfounded seeing the portrait. He can't believe that the artist has sketched the portrait of Bhagirathi, his deceased first wife and Laxmibai's mother. When Moropant refuses to believe her, Laxmibai shows him her anklets that the lady had given her. Moropant, Gangadhar and Laxmibai are surprised at this divine happening. Indu pays a surprise visit to Laxmibai with her little son, Siddesh. Siddesh becomes the object of Laxmibai's affection. Gangadhar is pleased and wonders when Laxmibai will have a child of her own. Meanwhile, Ross, the British officer who had shot Tatya Dixit gets worried that his name would get exposed in front of Gangadhar. They reach Gangadhar's court and tell him that they suspect the Rajputs are behind the attack. However, a sharp Gangadhar says that 'R' could also refer to Ross. Ross gets worried hearing his name. - Episode 252E252
Episode 252Ross tells Gangadhar that he will gather evidences to prove his accusation against the Rajputs. Just then, Raghunath enters the court and says that the differences between Brahmins and Rajputs have been resolved, and they have agreed to make Samar Singh their Chief. Ross mentions to Malcolm at the Commissionerate that he is afraid Gangadhar suspects him. Nelson arrives then, and in a shocking turn of events, stabs Ross to death. Meanwhile, Samar Singh thanks Laxmibai in Gangadhar's court for transforming a bandit like him, and presents Gangadhar with the flag of his army. In turn, Gangadhar presents Samar with a gold chain having a pendant of the sun. However, one of villagers is jealous with Samar Singh's prosperity. Samar invites the king for his younger sister's wedding but Gangadhar apologises for not being able to attend because of a meeting in Jodhpur and says that Laxmibai would grace the occasion. Episode 253Laxmibai walks away in disgust to her palanquin. Nelson barges into Gangadhar's court and introduces himself as John Nelson, a special agent appointed by Lord Dalhousie to tackle the mismanagement in Jhansi. Nelson accuses the king of not punishing the Rajputs for spreading anarchy in the region. As proof, he shows the murdered body of Ross holding Samar Singh's golden locket presented by the king. Gangadhar is compelled to sign Samar's arrest warrant. However, Gangadhar warns Nelson to arrest Samar only after his sister's wedding - Episode 254E254
Episode 254The Prime Minister voices his concern about the outcome of Samar's arrest to Gangadhar. Gangadhar asks him to send Raghunath to look into the security at Samar's village. Nelson and Malcolm unleash terror on the villagers, so Samar reveals his identity, but the villagers fight bravely against the British. Nelson then holds the groom at knifepoint, so Samar goes to fight but is held back by the British soldiers. Samar surrenders but Nelson kills the groom. Laxmibai arrives just then and warns Malcolm not to even touch Samar Singh, so he shows her the arrest warrant signed by Gangadhar. Laxmibai is shocked. The mayhem unnerves Laxmibai and Tatya Tope. An elder lady accuses Gangadhar for getting Samar arrested and blames him for treason! She curses that even Gangadhar will pine for his child someday! Laxmibai vows by her motherland that Nelson will have to pay for this bloodshed, and that she would free Samar and Karma. - Episode 255E255
Episode 255Laxmibai is upset to know that Samar Singh and Karma have been arrested as per Gangadhar's order. Gangadhar is informed that Lord Dalhousie wants him to attend a meeting in Gwalior. When Laxmibai gets ready to return to her palace, she feels a little faint. However, she manages to reach the palace and learns that Gangadhar has left for Gwalior. Dalhousie warns Gangadhar that as per the Doctrine of Lapse, Jhansi would soon go to the East India Company because he did not have an heir. However, Gangadhar assures him that his queen was capable of managing Jhansi, in the event of his death. Dalhousie taunts about a woman running his kingdom, so Gangadhar reminds Dalhousie that even his queen is a woman! Nelson admits to a furious Laxmibai that Samar did not kill Ross; he did. Just then, he receives a court order and informs Laxmibai that Samar Singh and Karma would be hanged unto death. Laxmibai collapses hearing the news. - Episode 256E256
Episode 256The royal physician announces that the queen is pregnant. Everyone is thrilled. However, he advises Indu to make sure that the queen gets as much rest as possible because she is anaemic. Meanwhile, in Gwalior, Lord Dalhousie warns Gangadhar to solve the problem involving Samar Singh, else Jhansi would be annexed, but Gangadhar assures him that all problems would be tackled. Bhagirathi appears again before Laxmibai and tells her that she is pregnant. Laxmibai is delighted. Bhagirathi advises her to abide by her duties as a wife and a queen because she has great responsibilities now. In the midst of the meeting, Gangadhar gets a letter informing him that Laxmibai is pregnant. Gangadhar proudly announces to Dalhousie that Jhansi will soon have an heir. Dalhousie is dismayed. Back in Jhansi, it is announced that Samar Singh and Karma would be killed in a cannon blast the next afternoon. - Episode 257E257
Episode 257Laxmibai manages to release Samar Singh and Karma, and they thank her. She tells Samar that they must seek revenge for the injustices inflicted on the villagers and absolve the king of the blame. Laxmibai kisses her lucky charm tied on her wrist. Kashi, disguised as the queen, informs a shocked Indu and Chimnabai that Laxmibai has gone to save Samar and Karma. Meanwhile, Nelson informs Malcolm that the man in disguise was none other than Laxmibai. Nelson vows to prove that Laxmibai is not a queen but a bandit, and this would disgrace the king as well. Meanwhile, Samar, Karma and Laxmibai speed on a bullock cart to the palace but Nelson, who is chasing them, shoots Samar and Karma. The cart gets stuck in slush and the frightened bullocks free themselves and run away. Laxmibai gets down and tries to pull out the cart herself. The good luck charm given to her to protect her pregnancy falls down. - Episode 259E259
Episode 259Samar Singh and Karma, burdened with grief and guilt, are unable to tell the queen the truth. Tatya Tope arrives later, and Samar Singh and Karma break the news to him. Tatya Tope is heartbroken. Meanwhile, Nelson rejoices at his success as he is certain that Laxmibai must have surely had a miscarriage. Nelson writes to Fort William to have a battalion sent to Jhansi because of the prevalent anarchy. Fort William accepts Nelson's request and also assures him of a promotion. Meanwhile, Gangadhar arrives in the village to take Laxmibai home. He is upset with her, but when he sees her, he smiles. Daima enters just then and praises the king for being so brave and understanding in spite of such a great tragedy. She says that the queen would have trouble conceiving a second time. Daima realises that the king and queen are not aware about the miscarriage. Gangadhar and Laxmibai are devastated at the news. Gangadhar accuses Laxmibai for the loss and walks away in anger. - Episode 260E260
Episode 260Laxmibai tries to convince Gangadhar about her innocence but he walks away in fury. When he returns to the palace, he is upset at the welcome. Laxmibai too comes to the palace and informs Moropant and Chimnabai about her miscarriage. Moropant accuses her of betraying Gangadhar's trust as a queen and a wife. He warns her to mend her ways at least now. Laxmibai pleads with Gangadhar to forgive her but he accuses her of only wanting to be a warrior, not a mother. He says that she would have even made her child as selfish as her. He then gives her an ultimatum ' she should remain either a queen and a warrior, or a wife and a mother. Gangadhar declares that, henceforth, they would stay in separate chambers. Laxmibai is shattered with his announcement. - Episode 261E261
Episode 261Indu tries to stop Siddesh who keeps crying to meet the king but Gangadhar does not heed even the cries of a child. Laxmibai removes all her ornaments and wears a black sari. On the other hand, thoughts of allegations from his subjects for not providing an heir, and of Dalhousie asking him where the heir was, overwhelm the king. Gangadhar tells Moropant that Laxmibai could not be a good wife, a good mother or a good queen. Moropant apologises to Gangadhar and asks him to remarry. Meanwhile, Laxmibai's depression turns into hysteria. She then climbs the 'malkhamb' pole to find an answer to the king's ultimatum. On the other hand, Nelson writes a letter to Gangadhar informing him that an English battalion would be arriving in Jhansi soon. Back in the village, the midwife pleads with Karma and Samar to find a remedy for the queen's plight. - Episode 262E262
Episode 262Samar waits for Laxmibai's order but she tells him that she has vowed to be only a mother, not a warrior. Samar tries to dissuade her but she remains firm and asks him to tackle matters peacefully. Gangadhar reads Nelson's letter informing him about the arrival of British battalion in Jhansi because of the poor law and order situation in Jhansi. Nelson then reminds the king of how Laxmibai rescued the prisoners from British custody in spite of Gangadhar's orders to arrest them. Gangadhar is embarrassed and questions Tatya Tope about Nelson's allegations. Tatya Tope informs Gangadhar about the mayhem in Samar's village, and how Nelson had violated Gangadhar's order. - Episode 263E263
Episode 263Laxmibai decides to leave the palace but her alter ego reminds her to stand by her husband through thick and thin, and asks her to understand Gangadhar's plight. Meanwhile, Gangadhar asks the Prime Minister to inform Nelson that he will personally inspect the battalion. On the other hand, Samar and Karma gather materials to make handmade explosives. Daima hears about Samar and Karma's plan and tells Laxmibai about it. A worried Laxmibai decides to inform the king but is told that he has left to inspect the new battalion. Looking at the arms and ammunition, Gangadhar asks Nelson whether the battalion is here to protect Jhansi or capture it. Just then, Samar orders his men to throw the bombs. Laxmibai reaches the spot and informs Gangadhar about Samar and Karma's plans. - Episode 264E264
Episode 264Nelson tortures Samar and Karma, and drags them through the streets of Jhansi to warn people about the consequence of challenging the British rule. Meanwhile, an Englishman, John Lang, keeps writing about the peaceful protests in India in his newspaper - The Mofussilite. Laxmibai too gets to hear about it. On the festive occasion of `Raksha Bandhan', Laxmibai gives Nelson the permission letter to meet her brothers. She is horrified to see Samar and Karma badly tortured and vows to have them freed soon. Nelson is furious reading John's articles praising the Indians, especially Laxmibai, so he flings it. Laxmibai picks it and Nelson taunts her about being uneducated. However, Malcolm and he are stunned to hear her speak in impeccable English. - Episode 265E265
Episode 265Nelson bribes Samar Singh with freedom by asking him to confess about Laxmibai's role in releasing him. However, Samar spits on Nelson. Nelson continues to torture Samar and Karma so much that they collapse. Laxmibai meets John Lang for the first time. She requests John to save Samar and Karma, and John agrees. John says that he needs secrecy and privacy, so Laxmibai replies that he would get it in her palace but only after seeking her king's permission. On the other hand, Gangadhar asks Raghunath to find out where Laxmibai has gone with Tatya Tope, and why. The subjects of Jhansi voice their grievances about the injustices inflicted by the new battalion, and about Jhansi being in deeper trouble because Gangadhar lacks an heir. Gangadhar promises to look into their problems personally. When he sees Laxmibai outside, he taunts her again about only Samar and Karma being everything to her. Laxmibai gets upset. Episode 266When a British officer tries to kill a little boy, John manages to save him at the nick of time. John and the officer have a verbal duel. John threatens to take him to King Gangadhar's court. Laxmibai tries to explain that with Lang's help they will be able to free Samar Singh and Karma using the legal procedures of the British. Gangadhar tells her that they should be punished as they tried to blow up the British battalion in his presence. Laxmibai vows that not a single Englishman would remain in Jhansi, and even the new battalion would leave it! Laxmibai promises him that as long as she is alive, no harm would befall Jhansi. Meanwhile, John prepares a case against the atrocities of Nelson. Queen Laxmibai signs the documents. John narrates to Laxmibai how Nelson had destroyed his life as well. Hearing that Samar Singh and Karma are still alive, Nelson decides to burn them alive. However, Laxmibai arrives just then and warns Nelson to stop. - Episode 267E267
Episode 267When Nelson sees that it's John fighting Laxmibai's case, he reminds John about his license to practise law being revoked for 2 years. However, John retorts that the ban period was already over. Left with no choice, Nelson stops torturing Samar and Karma and asks his men to take them to their cell. Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho display fake concern and advise Gangadhar to remarry so that Jhansi is assured of an heir. Gangadhar gets furious and retorts that Jhansi will soon have an heir. Daima tells Gangadhar that if given healthy food and taken proper care of, the queen will be able to beget an heir soon. However, Gangadhar orders John to leave the palace at once. Laxmibai promises Gangadhar that they will win the case but Gangadhar replies that his decision remains firm. Not the one to give up easily, Laxmibai rings the bell to seek justice from the king and compels him to hear her plea. - Episode 268E268
Episode 268Laxmibai voices her plea to Gangadhar. She narrates the kind of mayhem that was unleashed by the British at Samar's sister's wedding, and the chain of events from that moment on till date. How the British had conspired at every step against Jhansi. Laxmibai demands justice from the King of Jhansi. However, he merely walks away without answering. Laxmibai is hurt and disappointed at his lack of trust in her. Gangadhar informs Raghunath that he will be setting off on a secretive journey. Laxmibai is surprised to hear that the king has gone away without even informing her. Moropant tells her that Gangadhar must have gone to remarry. Laxmibai is distraught hearing this and says that she doesn't deserve to stay in the palace anymore. However, she vows to remove the British battalion from Jhansi before leaving, even if it meant stepping over a queen's limits. - Episode 269E269
Episode 269Laxmibai tells Moropant that she did her duty as a queen when she saved Samar and Karma. Moropant chides her that she should have waited for Tatya Tope to free Samar and Karma. Laxmibai tells her father that she is equally shattered on losing her unborn child as any other mother would be. Laxmibai laments that Gangadhar has gone to remarry as he does not love or trust her anymore. Gangadhar is haunted by Laxmibai's pleas for justice. In the court proceedings against Samar and Karma, the lawyer builds a strong case. John Lang demands judicial custody of Samar and Karma. Samar and Karma thank Laxmibai. Laxmibai tells them that she will never let anything happen to them as they have to drive out the British battalion from Jhansi. Nelson meets the jailor and makes an evil plan. He plans to keep Samar and Karma with the most ferocious prisoners so that they will be killed and Nelson will not be blamed. He keeps Samar with Fateh Singh and Karma with Jwala, who are deadly and cruel criminals. - Episode 270E270
Episode 270Nelson keeps Samar and Karma with the two most notorious criminals, Fateh Khan and Jwala, in the prison. Nelson hopes that Samar and Karma will be killed by those men. Samar and Karma fight the ferocious men. John Lang assures Laxmibai that Samar and Karma will be safe in the Judicial Custody. Kundan blackmails Nelson for money. He threatens Nelson that he will tell Laxmibai about Captain Ross's real murderer. Nelson tells his soldiers to take Kundan away. Laxmibai sees Kundan being dragged by the British and wonders who he is. John Lang and Laxmibai are shocked when Nelson proves that Samar Singh has killed Captain Ross by providing Samar's necklace as proof. Laxmibai blames herself for not being a good wife to Gangadhar.
