S1 • E156 Mar 29, 2010 24mSamar tells Laxmibai that Sakhubai must be responsible for the missing wealth of the royal treasury. Gangadhar is upset that Samar Singh had sent a letter to Laxmibai. Sakhubai is surprised when she does not find Laxmibai in her room. Sakhubai tells Gangadhar that Laxmibai is not in the palace. Gangadhar goes to Laxmibais room to check on her. Laxmibai manages to come back to her room. Gangadhar confronts Laxmibai about Samar Singhs letter. Laxmibai tells Gangadhar that Samar Singh had sent a letter for Gangadhar to her so that it would not get tampered. Samar tells Gangadhar in his letter that he knows how the royal treasury got empty. He also pledges his full support to Gangadhar. Sakhubai tries to point to Gangadhar that this is a ploy of Samar Singh. The British receive Laxmibais letter. The British decide to kill the Queen of Jhansi before she poses a threat to them. They send Marshall to kill her.
