S1 • E264 Aug 26, 2010 24mNelson tortures Samar and Karma, and drags them through the streets of Jhansi to warn people about the consequence of challenging the British rule. Meanwhile, an Englishman, John Lang, keeps writing about the peaceful protests in India in his newspaper - The Mofussilite. Laxmibai too gets to hear about it. On the festive occasion of `Raksha Bandhan', Laxmibai gives Nelson the permission letter to meet her brothers. She is horrified to see Samar and Karma badly tortured and vows to have them freed soon. Nelson is furious reading John's articles praising the Indians, especially Laxmibai, so he flings it. Laxmibai picks it and Nelson taunts her about being uneducated. However, Malcolm and he are stunned to hear her speak in impeccable English.
