Motibai is shocked to know that Aaishri does not want Gangadhar and Laxmibai to be together. She decides to inform Gangadhar about this. Meanwhile, Acharya and Laxmibai are shocked to hear Gangadhar's orders about the `sanyasis'. Motibai requests Khudabaksh to reveal the truth to Gangadhar. Aaishri comes to know that Khudabaksh is in Motibai's chamber, and deliberately sends Gangadhar there. Gangadhar gets angry to see Motibai with Khudabaksh, and asks his soldiers to arrest Motibai. She somehow escapes from their custody and reaches Gangadhar's court. Aaishri asks Gangadhar not to entertain a prostitute like Motibai. An angry Motibai tells Gangadhar that Aaishri is responsible for creating misunderstandings between him and Laxmibai.
