All Aaishri tells Laxmibai is that she is ready to beget a child for Gangadhar, and asks her to stay in a separate room for 5 days. Jankibai and Sakhubai hear the news and are jealous that Jhansi would soon get an heir. Spears inform Gangadhar that a disheartened Sleeman has gone to Lucknow, and things could turn for the worse if Kranti Guru is not handed over to the British. Gangadhar bribes Spears into not mentioning in his report about Kranti Gurus involvement in Marshall's death. Meanwhile, Aaishri informs Gangadhar about Laxmibai coming of age. Later, she taunts Gangadhar for not keeping his wife in his clutches. Meanwhile, Laxmibai gets bathed after 5 days and is dressed up like a queen. The dilemma of having to give an answer to the kings ultimatum worries her. On the other hand, the king too awaits his queens reply.
