Motibai requests Manu to be part of her play, where Motibai would play the latters role. Meanwhile, after completing a religious ritual, Gangadhar Rao reminds Fraser to arrest Samar Singh as soon as possible. Samar Singh, dressed as a mendicant, meets Manu and reveals to her that Fraser and Motibai are conspiring again to create problems in Jhansi. Manu decides to find out what the conspiracy is all about.
