John threatens to take him to King Gangadhar's court. Laxmibai tries to explain that with Lang's help they will be able to free Samar Singh and Karma using the legal procedures of the British. Gangadhar tells her that they should be punished as they tried to blow up the British battalion in his presence. Laxmibai vows that not a single Englishman would remain in Jhansi, and even the new battalion would leave it! Laxmibai promises him that as long as she is alive, no harm would befall Jhansi. Meanwhile, John prepares a case against the atrocities of Nelson. Queen Laxmibai signs the documents. John narrates to Laxmibai how Nelson had destroyed his life as well. Hearing that Samar Singh and Karma are still alive, Nelson decides to burn them alive. However, Laxmibai arrives just then and warns Nelson to stop.
