S1 • E40 Oct 19, 2009 24mManu, who is in charge of the cast for 'Ram Leela', decides to cast women in it. After some hesitation, the villagers agree to it. Manson tells Smith not to underestimate a strong Manu and that he has seen what she is capable of. Dhrupad tells Manson that Manu is casting women in 'Ram Leela'. The British soldiers whip an Indian for not paying a tax. Manson asks Manu to pay the tax for practising in the garden, to which Manu agrees. Manu goes to Manson's house and burns the tax register.
