S1 • E233 Jul 14, 2010 24mLaxmibai is overwhelmed to see her portraits that Gangadhar had painted in her absence. Some British officers Malcolm and Ross tell Sakhubai, Jankibai and Lacho that they should see to it that Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao do not consummate their marriage. If they succeed in doing that, the British officers promise to give them the administrative powers of Jhansi. The British officers suggest that they should use Vahini Saheb for this purpose. Meanwhile, Vahini Saheb asks Laxmibai's maids about Laxmibai's whereabouts. The maids do not reveal that she is with Gangadhar Rao. Gangadhar and Laxmibai spend some romantic moments with each other. Gangadhar shows her a sculpture made by him, whose face is incomplete because he didn't know how she looked now.
