S1 • E149 Mar 18, 2010 24mAaishri tells Laxmibai that she should perform the ceremonial ritual in the kitchen and does not let her send her message to Gangadhar. Sakhubai gives Fraser money and tells him to ask Sleeman to decrease the time period that Gangadhar has been given to pay his taxes. Laxmibai makes a unique gift for Gangadhar to express her thanks to him. She shoots an arrow on the tree to indicate that she wants to meet him but Gangadhar misses to see it. Aaishri tells Gangadhar that she is pleased with his verdict. Aaishri indirectly tries to tell Gangadhar that Laxmibai is not listening to her. Laxmibai brings her gift to Gangadhar. Gangadhar gets angry with her for not following the ways of a Queen. Aaishri pretends to take Laxmibais side. Gangadhar scolds Laxmibai and she drops her gift. She goes back to her room. Aaishri tells Laxmibai that she has yet to understand Gangadhars nature. Laxmibai promises her that she will definitely win over Gangadhars love.
