S1 • E115 Jan 31, 2010 24mMotibai bribes the priest to solemnise Nala and Damayantis wedding in the play in such a way that she would be married to Gangadhar, and no one would be able to challenge its sanctity! Chimna overhears and decides to inform Manu. Meanwhile, Motibai requests Gangadhar Rao to play the role of Nala in the play. Gangadhar Rao agrees because everyone requests him. Manu voices her concern about Motibais ulterior motive in inviting her to the play. Jankibai, Lacho and Sakhubai inform Moropant that Gangadhar Rao has organised a musical function where Motibai would present a special performance. They say that they wish to dress up Manu for the event, much to her disapproval. Chimna manages to enter the musical programme secretly. Motibai dances before the king and others, and collapses while shes dancing. She confesses to Manu about her unbridled love for Gangadhar Rao.
