S1 • E99 Jan 7, 2010 24mMotibai welcomes Manu. She then taunts Manu that she would not be able to beget an heir for Jhansi because she is still a child. Jankibai and Lacho assure Gangadhar Rao that they will take care of Manu. After they leave, Gangadhar reveals to Raghunath that he had asked them to take care of Manu to foil their evil plans. Manu and Motibai are about to enter a temple when the priest stops them. He informs Manu that Motibai cannot enter the temple because she is a prostitute. Manu requests the priest not to discriminate against Motibai and he agrees. Motibai is touched by Manus gesture.
