S1 • E77 Dec 9, 2009 24mManu gets a dream in which Gangadhar gets bitten by a snake. Vahini mentions it to Moropant and he says that it could be a bad omen. Lachchu, Janki and Sakhu apologise to Gangadhar and congratulate him. Motibai writes a letter to Gangadhar and, instead of giving it to Gangadhar, is about to drink the juice to commit suicide. Gangadhar meets Motibai and drinks the juice, which has the herb given to Motibai by Lachchu. As the girls apply 'alta', they spill it all over Manu's hand, reddening it.
