Pluribus, created by Vince Gilligan, stars Rhea Seehorn as a novelist who is one of only 13 people on Earth immune to an alien event that transformed the rest of humanity into a peaceful hive mind. Apple confirmed in December 2025 that Pluribus had become the most-watched show in the service's history. Shrinking, now in its third season, pairs Jason Segel with Harrison Ford in a comedy about a grieving therapist who throws out the rulebook with his patients. Slow Horses, starring Gary Oldman as the permanently disheveled head of MI5's department for disgraced spies, has run for 5 seasons, with each one adapting a novel by Mick Herron. The Studio, from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, follows a newly appointed movie studio head played by Rogen as he tries to keep cinema relevant while fielding visits from the likes of Martin Scorsese and Charlize Theron. Plex provides cast details, ratings, and trailers for these titles, so you can compare them with other services before making a selection.
Apple TV+ releases fewer films than services like Netflix or Amazon, but several have drawn awards attention and strong viewer response. Killers of the Flower Moon, directed by Martin Scorsese with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, received 10 Academy Award nominations. The Gorge, an action thriller starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller, became one of the platform's most-watched original films after its February 2025 release. F1, Brad Pitt's Formula 1 film, debuted on the service in December 2025 and immediately reached the top of Apple TV+'s movie rankings. Plex tags each Apple TV+ film by genre, making it easy to filter and compare options without opening multiple apps.
Pluribus holds that title. Apple confirmed this in December 2025, the same day F1 launched on the platform. Apple does not publish specific viewership figures; the information is based on the company's own announcement rather than third-party data. Before Pluribus, Severance held the record. When its 2nd season debuted in January 2025, it drew 589 million viewing minutes in its first three days. That premiere also drove a 126% increase in new Apple TV+ subscribers between January 1 and January 19, 2025. Ted Lasso, which held the most-watched title for years across its first 3 seasons, was the service's original breakout hit. Plex displays ratings and cast details for each title, helping you decide what to add to your Watchlist.
As of 2026, Apple TV+ is a source for live sports for U.S. subscribers. Formula 1 is the largest addition. Apple signed a 5-year agreement making the service the sole U.S. broadcaster of every Grand Prix, qualifying session, practice, and Sprint, replacing ESPN. The first race under this deal aired on March 7, 2026, with the Australian Grand Prix. F1 TV Premium, previously available as a separate subscription, is now included at no extra charge for Apple TV+ subscribers. Major League Soccer is included in a standard Apple TV+ subscription for the 2026 season. The previous MLS Season Pass paywall has been removed, so every match is accessible without an additional purchase. Friday Night Baseball continues with two MLB doubleheaders each Friday during the regular season. All live sports stream in 4K with Dolby Vision.
Ted Lasso returns for a 4th season in summer 2026, with Jason Sudeikis reprising his role. Imperfect Women, a psychological thriller starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara, premiered on March 18, 2026. For All Mankind returns for its fifth season later this year, while the spinoff Star City, set on the Soviet side during the Cold War, is expected in the back half of 2026. Margo's Got Money Troubles, starring Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, is confirmed for April 2026. Lucky, starring Anya Taylor-Joy, is also slated for 2026. You can track these titles on your Plex Watchlist, and Plex will show you when they become available to stream.
As of early 2026, Apple TV+ costs $12.99 per month with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The annual plan is $99.99, which works out to about $8.33 per month. Apple raised the monthly price from $9.99 to $12.99 in August 2025. Apple One bundles Apple TV+ with up to 5 other Apple services starting at $19.95 per month. The Apple TV+ and Peacock Premium bundle starts at $14.99 per month. Students who subscribe to the Apple Music Student Plan at $5.99 per month get Apple TV+ included at no extra cost. Buying an eligible Apple device also gets you three months free. There is one plan tier with no ad-supported option; all Apple TV+ originals stream without ads.
The catalog is smaller than what you get from Netflix or Max, which carry thousands of titles. Apple TV+'s library sits at around 100 original series and a growing slate of films. The value proposition has shifted with the addition of the 2026 sports. If you follow Formula 1, MLS, or Friday Night Baseball, those are now bundled into the same $12.99 subscription that covers the original programming. Before 2026, a standalone F1 TV Pro subscription in the U.S. cost roughly the same amount. Apple TV+ features original programming with high production budgets, including multiple Emmy-winning series such as Ted Lasso and Severance. While the library is smaller, releases are consistent. Plex lets you compare availability across Apple TV+ and other services in a single search, so you can see where a title lives before subscribing.
Yes. Plex Discover indexes the full Apple TV+ catalog alongside 100+ other streaming services.
