- DavidBunnyDad1d agoGuess I'm the only one who finds this a complete misfire. Seems like Vince Gilligan fell in love with a premise and never figured out what to do with it; either that or it's the slowest of all slow burns, because long stretches of season 1 are just plain boring. The premise itself isn't all that interesting, a large number scenes make no sense even within the sci-fi parameters that have been established -- and perhaps most critically, unlike Gilligan's other two shows, the protagonist of Pluribas is not someone you want to spend any time with. We rooted for Walter and Saul even when we knew we shouldn't, but it's impossible to root for Carol. She's an unmitigated jerk. I like the underpinning theme of fear of AI, but the plotting and characterization just aren't doing it for me.
- Disent5d agoPLuribus? more like, boring bus.
- PatrikStarNovember 7, 2025Vince Gilligan’s “The Leftovers.”
- muzikizumNovember 27, 2025Definitely in the top 3 TV programmes about genocidal empathy.
- KinoMarinoNovember 14, 2025Vince Gilligan did it again. Every scene in Pluribus feels razor sharp, layered and meticulously intentional. The tension, the tiny emotional grenades nobody else builds stories like this. It’s fresh, not recycled and still has that signature Gilligan logic of elegant, weird, unpredictable and addictive. Smart, bold, confident. Absolute Peak television.
- Mr. PlaysNovember 10, 2025Oh wow, what a phenomenal show, thank goodness Bob Odenkirk isn’t in it.

- shirazesat6d agoI only managed to watch two episodes and gave up, primarily because I couldn't stand the protagonist. The concept is interesting, with fascism masked in glamour and a concept of peaceful living, but the attack against it seems so petty and selfish. White saviour nonsense raises its head again, with the American seeing the loss of personality a tragedy, whilst others seemed to love the conformity. We're not seeing a dark undercurrent, like we did for the excellent V back in the day.
- JUFLIX.November 10, 2025I watched the first 2 episodes and absolutely love this alternate take on your standard post apocalyptic plot.
- wilkinkdDecember 15, 2025Started strong. Ended for me with a pyrotechnic whimper on ep7. What a disappointment.

- ZemPlexNovember 19, 2025My expectations were very high for this series, but after slogging through three episodes of Carol's unrealistic over-emoting and general wretchedness, I think that I've adjusted them accordingly. The show can only improve (I hope).
- thx.dtsNovember 29, 2025Excellent. Divisive. Maybe not for Breaking Bad fans.
