For All Mankind
Where to Watch For All Mankind
- I'm going back and forth debating between the 4.5 and 5 stars I want to give this show. I want to give it 5 stars for the bangers they give at the back half of each season and season finales but 4.5 for the slow buildup of each season. It's a phenomenal "what if" sci fi series that I kinda wanna compare to the expanse except it misses the "hard" sci fi. It's not totally realistic like the expanse yet not comparable to futuristic sci fi alla star wars or star trek. Its a very slow snowball to get going in season 1 yet gets better with the time skips. It's not keeping me on the edge of my seat but still very entertaining and what I could definitely compare it to is the sci-fi movie Arrival, as in "what if this happened, what would we do?" I also can't fault apple and can in fact applaud them that in this era of streaming and 10 episode seasons they are constantly throwing out consecutive hour-long episodes with finales that are slightly longer which give plenty of character development and plot build out
- A fun “what if “ scenario television series! Taking the Cold War and expanding it to decade after decade of the space race showing the advancements in humankind. It is an amazing show. You love all of the characters and hate some of them too, and it gives us a great glimpse into what the world would look like now if things were just a tiny bit different. It’s a mixture of science fact and science fiction. You can’t miss it, and it is done brilliantly by Apple.
- I didn't start watching it till Season 3 was airing after a friend kept telling me to watch it! Season one sets you up to the story that just gets better as they build on the moon and then Mars! I swear they've based Helios and Dev on SpaceX and Musk? I'm just watching season 4 then it's binge Season 5 and start on Star City while we wait for Season 6! What's anyone else's thoughts?
What a Show!
