- AndreiTamas16h agovery fun watch
- vangh14d agoA psychological delve into the type of people that become the best of the best in an exciting field is always fun to watch, and I especially appreciate it when the realm at play is one I don't have any meaningful knowledge of or interest in because the fact that a great movie can get me to care for 2 hours when I otherwise couldn't care less is always impressive. This movie really toed the line for me between "plucky underdog who does what it takes, no matter what it takes" versus "unapologetic piece of shit who spits in the face of the spirit of competition while citing said spirit of competition as their inspiration." I'm still not sure how I feel about which side they landed on in the end. I hate, hate, hated the romantic subplot. It felt super shoe horned in, absolutely took away from Kate's character, and the supposed emotional growth it lends to Sonny could have worked as well with a character that wasn't the first female lead engineer in F1. Bad, very bad. I loved this one editing moment in the last race, I think they used it twice, it's a close up on either Sonny or JP, then their hand gripping the steering wheel obscures their face, and when manuevering reveals the face again, it's the other driver. Really effective way of showing how in tune they've become with each other. Indistinguishable, interchangeable, one and the same.
- misael.976d agoFelt very organic and natural to watch, a contender for best narrative of the year.
- drakeg236d agoThis is one of the best movies of the year, it’s filled with heart, action, and top-tier performances from all of the actors. The racing scenes never got boring, and this is a movie that’s a must-see in theaters.

- RipLinesManMay 12, 2025Event Horizon (1997) had people losing their minds in deep space with blood on the walls, and F1 is like the grounded, no-guts-but-all-glory version where instead of a haunted ship, you're trapped in a race car doing 200mph with your past chasing you down, bro. Brad Pitt comes outta racing retirement like Fishburne stepping onto the Event Horizon, calm, haunted, and way too seasoned for the mess he’s about to get into. Damson Idris brings the fire as the young hotshot Noah, with that “I got talent but also demons” vibe, kind of like the doomed crew in Event Horizon who thought they had it handled. There’s less screaming into the void and more screaming through turns at Monaco, but emotionally? Still high stakes. The tension builds like a horror flick — not with ghosts, but with split-second decisions and legacy pressure. Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon bring grit, while the sound design hits you like the gravity drive revving up. Honestly, it’s Event Horizon without the eyeball trauma. Four stars, bro — fast, slick, and heavy with ghost-of-who-you-used-to-be energy.
- JoelJune 25, 2025Basically Ted Lasso with incredible racing scenes and a Hans Zimmer score. Really loved it. Yeah it’s a bit predictable but who cares, it’s funny, intense, hits on all its emotional beats. Great summer blockbuster!
- johnmcmahon777July 25, 2025I am not into F1 racing at all and I am not a big car guy but I Loved this film. Joseph kosinski ( director of Top gun maverick) directed this film and some of the racing scenes are just breathtaking. The only thing which is not making this a 5 star film for me is the film was a bit too long. I highly recommend this Film. The last thing that I am going to say is that the soundtrack is great aswell.
- senitsuJuly 23, 2025Once you watch it, it’ll be one of those movies you’ll rewatch every now and then cause this will never get old 🔥 Watch it in 4DX if you can!
- Elijah GuerraJuly 14, 2025WHAT A MOVIE!!!!! F1 Is Freaking Amazing
- thomasrogers753July 1, 2025Brad Pitt is just being the Tom Cruise of the ground ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL
- AbsolutHungJune 29, 2025Very good movie, invoked feelings comparable to Days of Thunder...
- GriffinJuly 10, 2025Did NOT think that I would have this much fun with a racing film, as I hate racing, and nascar, especially since my disgrace dad watches it. But man, this was too good for a racing movie, I was getting concerned. Jokes aside, I really liked Brad Pitt in this. Seeing Superman tomorrow
- BenjaminJuly 10, 2025Wow, this was a really cool film to watch in a IMAX screen! I loved all the shots in this movie and the cameras for the drivers POV felt really amazing. I love the chemistry between Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pierce in this movie. The emotional shots had my jaw on the floor. When Hans Zimmer is doing the score, you know he’s gonna cook. Overall, I think it is a pretty solid movie and worth checking out in an IMAX theater.
- Alex | Pop Culture BrainJune 18, 2025I don't give a shit about formula one CORRECTION I didn't give a shit about formula one I saw F1 the movie starring Brad Pitt so here's the good and bad without spoilers This is an old school sports drama crowd pleaser With Immersive, intense, and thrilling driving sequences That were fast and furious, but still easy to follow Basically Joseph Kosinski brought the same muscular filmmaking that worked so well on Top Gun Maverick And applied it to racing here His secret weapon is Hans Zimmer’s Electronic infused score That reminded me a lot of Reznor and Ross’s work on Challenegers The movie had sharp and electric editing Brad Pitt charm turned up to 1000 Amazing chemistry with Kerry Condon Damson Idris is a star who held his own Javier Bardem levity and presence It was also pretty funny There was great dialogue scene to scene And the 2.5 hours flew by Paint by numbers, sloppy at times plotting Repetitive plot and exposition Pitt didn't land his big emotional monologue on a Las Vegas balcony But those flaws were easy to forgive because of this genre This is squarely in the grand tradition of sports dramas And it's a damn good one at that But the highest compliment I can give this movie is that it sold me on F1 racing Which I'm pretty sure was the whole point of this movie anyway
