- pipanni3 dage sidenA great start and such a cool premise, with charismatic actors leading the way. Unfortunately it goes downhill fast due to bad plot decisions. The romance part should have been much more developed and the mystery of the gorge should also have been more, well, mysterious. If there's a movie that deserves a remake it's this one.

It feels more like an experimental/poc short film, made to peak interest of a major studio, rather than a fleshed out movie, but it's cute like that. You'd need a great amount of suspension of disbelief to make it work for you though

I went in expecting a conventional action movie and ended up obsessed with this mind-blowing genre mix. 🧗 What took my breath away: * The chemistry between Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller: It's not just that they're "familiar faces"; they elevate the script. She has that intense gaze that can convince you of anything, and Miles brings a physicality and vulnerability that makes you connect with his mission from the very first minute. Watching them interact across that barrier is pure magnetism. * The mystery of the wall: The tension is built beautifully. That feeling of "there's something beyond" kept me on the edge of my seat. The scale of the production is brutal; visually, it's a spectacle that totally justifies staying up late. * The Genre Twist: I loved how it starts as a survival/espionage thriller and suddenly transforms into something much more fantastical and dark. It's not your typical love story; it's a story of trust under impossible circumstances. 🎬 My Verdict It's one of those films that reminds you why we love genre cinema when it's made with a budget and, above all, with real talent. The protagonists don't just act; they feel the weight of the abyss, and that makes the ending leave you thinking for quite a while.
