America's answer to Ricky Gervais' After Life. Has a lot of heart and laughs, and needs to be spoken about more.

It took an episode or two to get into it but they've really hit their stride in season 2 and 3. I like the main stories and the side characters. It's a fun show with some serious topics but they handle it with grace and good times.

Holy fuck this show is bad. I thought I could power through it just for the comedy but there ISN'T any. I tried one more time after 3 tries and this time I didn't even make it 15 seconds. The music is absolutely terrible, I feel like I'm in a woke laundry detergent commercial.

A Heartfelt Journey Toward Healing "Shrinking" is a rare gem of a TV series that masterfully blends humor, heartache, and hope to create an experience that leaves you feeling deeply connected, uplifted, and at peace. It's a show that does more than entertain-it soothes the soul. The story revolves around a grieving therapist, Jimmy (played by Jason Segel), who struggles to navigate his personal loss while helping his patients. The premise might sound heavy, but "Shrinking" balances its emotional depth with a sharp, witty script and endearing characters that you can't help but root for. Harrison Ford is a standout as Paul, a seasoned therapist with a gruff demeanor and a hidden well of empathy. His dynamic with Jimmy is nothing short of magical, providing some of the series' most touching and laugh-out-loud moments. The ensemble cast shines too, with each character bringing unique layers to the narrative, contributing to the show's central themes of vulnerability, connection, and healing. What sets "Shrinking" apart is its authenticity. The characters feel real, their struggles relatable, and their triumphs genuinely rewarding. The show doesn't shy away from the complexities of grief or the messy process of moving forward, but it does so with a sense of optimism that feels rare in today's TV landscape. Every episode leaves you with a warm, comforting sense that, even amidst life's chaos, healing is possible. It's not just the laughs or the emotional moments-it's the way the show threads them together, reminding us of the beauty in our imperfections and the importance of the people who stick by us. "Shrinking" is a testament to the power of storytelling that doesn't just seek to entertain but to resonate. It's a heartfelt series that lingers with you, making you feel seen, understood, and hopeful. If you're looking for something that will leave you with a smile and a sense of peace, this is the show for you.

Really a great show. Some of Harrison Ford's best work!

Don’t miss this unmissable series! Jason shows off with a performance that takes you on an impressive emotional journey, from depression to hope, happiness and even frustration. His flagship character, with his emotional ranges ranging from joy to the point of throwing in the towel, will keep you hooked. And of course, Harrison Ford, a movie giant, delivers a great performance despite his age. The plot focuses on people with different emotional problems, and it is refreshing to see a series in 2026 that presents men not as evil and the enemy of history, but as vulnerable and capable of rebuilding their lives. A moving and authentic story that you won’t want to miss!

Perfect TV, well written acted, comedy, grief and humanness. More things like this the world would be better. Be more Derek.

One of the best shows ever made. Being a Harrison Ford fan and a HIMYM fan definitely helps. I'm really proud of what these guys have done, and the supporting cast is insanely talented.

Fast paced. Shallow characters. Lazy, pretentious and predictable writing. What a waste of a pretty decent cast.
  • Hilarious and heartfelt, love this show

Lovely show. it has afeel good mood about it similar to Ted Lasso. Nothing too edgy but some great acting and writing. How can you not watch a show with a grumpy old man played by Han Solo.

Maybe the most heart warming show that I've ever watched. Almost every episode I get teary eyed out of happiness or sadness. Bill Lawrence has a knack for this. Ted Lasso was like this as well but this one gets me even more I think. And Harrison Ford steals every scene he is in. Also if you liked Scrubs, Ted Lasso, Bad Monkey or literally any of Bill Lawrence's other shows you will like this.

A fun character driven show which does a lot to develop its characters in meaningful ways. Its a show about good people willing to do the work to be better for the ones they love. Its touching and thoughtful, it stands out in a media landscape mostly driven by negativity.
