The Studio (2025) Ratings & Reviews
- Hadiyah WeaverMarch 26, 2025Hilarious! Felt like some lines were my actual inner thoughts lol
- stevencaceres245June 30, 2025I’m somebody who’s in the entertainment industry and this series hit on every level! Each episode is shot in a different cinematographic style, and even if you weren’t to understand that film language, you would still truly love the slapstick nature of it all. It’s a great series a love letter to Hollywood… but a toxic relationship with Hollywood as well 😜
- Jillian BroekJanuary 30, 2026I'd like to thank Sal Saperstein for making such a great show! My 4 star award goes to him 😆
- ThPJanuary 17, 2026a good one if you like Seth Rogen
- dogcomplexJanuary 15, 2026Each episode is a lovingly-treasured tribute to a style of storytelling. I could watch these for 10 seasons and still love them. Maybe they'll teach these in film history one day. RIP Hollywood, you will always be remembered.
- UatuTheWatcherSeptember 17, 2025The Studio is another hit in a long line of hits for Apple TV+. Apple has been absolutely killing it with all their shows and The Studio is no different. I knew this was going to be good by the cast alone. What a cast! If leads like Seth Rogen, Catherine O'Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders aren't enough, there are plenty of huge cameos like Martin Scorsese, Zac Efron, Bryan Cranston, Anthony Mackie, Charlize Theron, Paul Dano, Usher, etc. Rogen and Evan Goldberg direct all 10 episodes. This is one of the better shows to come out this year so far and I'd be shocked if this doesn't win a ton of awards come award season. The only negative is that we have to wait a week between shows because this is definitely a show that you want to binge.
- Moon ManDecember 20, 2025Half good.. half not bad. Forced situations for comedy just like Seth's laughter with over the top acting by familiar faces and names in Hollywood.
- Marko TanaskovicNovember 25, 2025AMAZING comedy show
- parktool69May 10, 2025Kathryn Hahn
- Alex | Pop Culture BrainMay 2, 2025Blisteringly funny, super stylish, love letter to Hollywood
- JoelJune 30, 2025Hilarious show
- Justin HardinSeptember 10, 2025I loved this show. This show was so chaotic in the most fun way. And I love the industry. So these are two giant trains crashing and making a beautiful thing.
- hairydemonAugust 16, 2025Great if you like feeling anxious. a nightmare if you work in the industry. Made me wake up screaming. Thanks Seth. Really appreciated! hehe. Other than that, classy filmmaking! Just great!
- JameslikesmoviesJuly 24, 2025Absolutely loved this show, loved those big continuous shots it felt like every minute for you was a minute for them. The cameos were awesome as well.
- Erick LeeJuly 13, 2025Just as I was thinking we haven't had any great comedies released in a while this comes out. With some touches of Hollywood, classic Seth Rogan anxiety inducing problems, made into comedy. Loved every bit of it
- falkerMay 31, 2025There's been so many shows about Hollywood executives, but this is the one I've been waiting for. Funny, anxiety inducing, wonderful cast, fast, well written, I could keep going and going. But you should just watch it yourself.
- IJzerenVuistjeMay 26, 2025Its really hard to make a good comedy these days, but Seth Rogen mostly nailed it. Great cast and the celebrity cameos are hilarious
- smackythefrogMay 5, 2025Entertaining enough, but the satire gets increasingly broader and, as a consequence, less funny the longer it goes on. Episode 1 is the show's most focused and, in my opinion, best episode, hinting at an attempt at something that goes deeper than your generic "Hollywood eh?" commentary. It is also the funniest of the bunch with Martin Scorcese giving possibly the best performance of an overqualified cast of guest stars. It's all downhill from there though, with the show resorting to farce, turning its characters a bunch of cartoons, beginning with the Studio Head protagonist played by Seth Rogan, who is some combination of a bumbling moron, a genuine film nerd and a poor man's version of a Larry David type depending on whatever ham-fisted point the show is trying to make. I suppose the Ron Howard, Anthony Mackie stuff was amusing, but you can see most of the jokes coming from a mile away on this show. It looks great though. Great cast, beautiful sets, inconsistent characters and some painfully obvious observations about the movie industry and how delusional the people involved in it can be.
- NadeneMurrayApril 17, 2025incredibly boring, cringey and annoying... just makes you wanna weep at the tedium
