Clint Eastwood? In a role that is quite familiar, but not the same…. Is he a cop? YES. Is he a bad ass? Well kind of. Does he get the bad guy in the end? Well of course he does…. This movie feels like an alternate reality where the character from the Dirty Harry movies (Fancis “Dirty Harry” Callahan) lives in another dimension. I like this movie a lot cuz it fits right in with the rest of his work from this time period yet it doesn't fit in quite nicely. It feels slightly uncomfortable in the cannon. That's a good thing when you have done a lot of the same movies all in a 15 year period. His comedy movies break up the “bad ass” cop movies well too.Tightrope - Blue Velvet
David Lynch at the hight of his powers? Well yeah, this is a great movie with the kinda bizarre shooting and acting you expect from a Lynch film. I really like the aesthetic of the movie and the whole vibe just grabs me. Stellar performance from Isabella for sure, she was so over the top, it was wonderful to see her be so aggressive in grabbing the character by the scruff of the neck. It took me a really long time to watch this film for the fist time and I'm sorry it did. It will go into my top 1000 movies of all time for sure….to be watched again and again.Blue Velvet - The Magnificent Seven
The magnificent seven (2016) This is a great movie, I mean a really great movie. The biggest problem with this movie is that it calls itself The Magnificent Seven. This is a fine movie that takes some of the elements of the original movies but the story has changed so much they should have called it something different. In the end I really like the movie and you feel connected to the characters enough that you feel for them. The ending was quite nice too…..but I still say this ain't no Magnificent Seven. ……and why did they NOT play the whole theme song at the end!!!!The Magnificent Seven - Analyze This
Anal-ize This is not what I thought it was….I thought it was a porno. I was quite disappointed. Only kidding. But I got you to look. Hahaha. Funni movie overall. Most of the jokes were good, some kinda flopped but a good watch overall. Remember there is a follow up to this one called Analyze That…..I wonder if there are any porno scenes in that one????Analyze This - Freeway
Yes this is a crazy movie. It's got a crazy plot, a crazy antagonist and a crazy protagonist. It really goes over the top in the 3rd act of the movie and is a not miss movie for sure. I'm not sure if this movie has a boatload of rewatch ability but you won't stop thinking about it for a while. You will recomend it to friends just to see their face after they said they watched it. Great conversation piece for sure. Don't forget to watch the follow up to this movie aptly named Freeway II.Freeway - The Magnificent Seven
This is a must watch movie if you like westerns….if you don't like westerns I would say it's a really should watch. The acting and action go hand in hand throughout the whole movie. It moves along and never lags. In the end the cast that were mainly just starting their career or just really getting a head of steam in their career did a fantastic job throughout. Many actors from this movie would go on to have blockbuster careers and it shows for sure. If you have not seen The Seven Samurai please do so, this movie was loosely based on it and deserves the credit it's due. I would also recommend you watch the remake of this movie….did it stand up? I absolutely LOVE this movie!!! The cinematography is amazing, the lighting is amazing, the acting is amazing and most importantly the writing is on point. The very first movie I ever saw with Leanardo DiCaprio was "What's Eating Gilbert Grape” and I knew right then he was gonna be a superstar and he certainly delivers in this movie too. I have watched this many, many times …… probably over a dozen and I still cringe in some of the scenes as if I was watching it really happen in front of me. I have nothing more to say except I wish there was more like this.The Revenant - The Nest
The Nest is a good and passable action movie. Ultimately the director makes you care about the characters in the end and are even rooting for the guys you may not have been in the beginning. It's worth a watch. My copy was dubbed into english (its a French movie) and the voices didn't necessarily fit the characters, at points i was feeling like i was watching a 70s kung fu flick hahaha.The Nest - Island of Lost Souls

Urgh! A Music War Wow is all I can say!!! This may be one of the best music documentaries you have ever seen. No explanation, no narration and no BS at all. The band comes on and plays then done….on to the next. Many bands I have never heard of before and may never hear of again. There are too many standout performances to really pick the “top” ones….but I think most everyone will agree The Police are the shining stars here, hence the reason they are the only band to get 3 songs, everyone else gets one song. Take your time to watch this movie and make sure you crank the sound up nice and loud!!!!Urgh! A Music War - Identity
Identity is a great movie, if you have not seen this stop reading reviews and watch this now!!! If you continue reading reviews, someone will spoil the movie for you for sure. I promise I won't ... .and I never do unless I say something in the first line. I have enjoyed rewatching this movie multiple times over the years,even though for me I know the story and how it goes and ends, I still keep picking up little details along the way. Rewatchability will be different for everyone for sure but for me every 1 or 2 years is just enough to keep this towards the top of my John Cusack list for sure.Identity - Pitch Black
This movie is a nice first installment to the Riddick series. Not a bad movie for a lower budget film. It's definitely worth the watch and see where it all started.Pitch Black - How to Train Your Dragon
This movie is fantastic - I had never seen the animated one before and my girlfrend took me to the movies to see this and I was just WOWed. Good story telling, good acting and overall a good time. I highly recomend this for anyone who wants to see a nice fantasy movie. btw - went back to see the animated one, im hooked.....How to Train Your Dragon - Gone Nutty
Very cute short. Especially if you are afan of Ice Age, if you are not.....still cute. Try it, you will like it.Gone Nutty
