The first season ending wasn't good (in my opinion), and I thought it was too political (especially far left leaning). Conservatives were made into villains, and this is coming from a libertarian who just wants to see natural behaviors instead of seeing entertainment be overly pushing agendas to either side. But the second season seemed to have fixed a lot of errors from the first to me. Rated first season 2 stars, this season was better but the two "ICE" parts were annoying and would have been better if it was neural instead of left leaning, but everything in media is far left leaning and annoying nowadays.

Loving The Pitt so far, highly recommend if you like medical shows.

A masterclass in medical drama. Realistic, intense, and emotionally grounded, this is easily one of the best medical shows on TV right now. Sharp writing, strong performances, and excellent execution. Now all I need is a Night Shift spinoff.

Solid series. The estate of Michael Crichton are fools. They didn’t give permission to make this an ER continuation. Then they try to sue when they redevelop it as its own show. This is exactly why estate owners of IP can go broke trying to preserve something ancient without allowing it to expand or grow. You hear me Tolkien (Rings) Broccoli (Bond). Just make your money, sit in the beach and let the characters expand. Now, the Pitt makes its own dough. I’m there for it.

If you love medicine, especially ER care this show will be your show. None of the soap opera stuff that you find on other medical shows, this one is raw and constantly moving like a real ER. Medical geeks will love this show.

The BEST MEDICAL SHOW, dramatic, tense and realistic. So realistic, so much so it can feel a little disconcerting to healthcare professionals, but still I love it. If it gives other people a glimpse inside our lives.... all the better.

The best medical drama ever created since The House MD of 2004!

I could not stop watching! This show is an emotional roller-coaster. I cried at least twice. Binge this now!
  • darsanApril 17, 2026
s2 might not have been as intense as s1 but it definitely had a great emotional journey for the characters and im absolutely looking forward to s3 next yr

Great writing. Nuanced acting. Gripping action that grabs your attention and keeps it. Character development is solid. BUT... verges on tragedy/sadness porn at times and can come off melodramatic and overbaked.

Demonizing ICE agents is the final straw. Done with garbage HBO shows.
  • michele.s341March 20, 2026
Really disappointed i cant stream this show as its one of my favourites
  • Rock End RollMarch 22, 2025
This is by far the most intense and graphic medical drama on my TV... With boobs, Hoo-has and wieners galore "The Pitt"sburgh, Pennsylvania Hospital is busy and chaotic as all get out... The double meaning in the show's title is an added touch that "YINZ" will enjoy... This is storytelling at its finest!!!

Binged season 1, VERY captivating and enjoyable. Season 2 a little less charm. Not 5 stars because of the heavy-handed social justice themes; preachy and unrealistic.

A very drawn out but tactful spiritual sequel to ER. Be warned, it's HBO so they will not make any effort to censor gore or nudity! But for those who can keep their seatbelts fastened and their barf firmly stowed, it's absolutely worth the ride.

“Really enjoyed The Pitt. The tone, the tension, and the performances all worked together to create a surprisingly immersive experience. It’s not flashy, but it’s confident in what it wants to be. A great pick if you’re in the mood for something moody and slow‑burn.”

This show left me wanting to watch the entire season in a row! It was gripping, intense, real ... I couldn't stop watching! Loved it!

Absolute ripper of a show, hooked from the very first episode.... warning adults only.

It is SOOO medically accurate and Doctor Mike loves it. This show isn't just medically accurate, it also makes it feel like an hospital. It has senior residents, interns, and med students, it includes what would happen during a passing, and more I'm in LURV with this show and the characters, especially Dr. King, Dr. Langdon, and Nurse Dana. Recommend this show LOVE IT SM ❤️
