After watching for the third time, I have to wonder if this is Bong Joon Ho’s greatest film (so far). The story, the writing, the characters, the cinematography - it’s outstanding. Better than Parasite for me, even though Parasite is also great.

Epic, impressive, and a great theater experience for the big screen.
But I’m not sure I need to watch it again? If I watched this movie on an airplane I think I’d be bored?
No impressive score, pacing of the story was messy, actors were fine, a few cool moments, but overall I didn’t think it was a life-changing movie.
There are too many Nolan films that I’d rather watch over this.
The story, the VFX, the color, the music, the editing - undoubtedly my favorite racing movie, and one could argue it’s the best live action adaptation of an anime. Make movies like this again!
