- IkaikaMarch 20, 2025Absolutely loved this show! The cgi is not the best but it does get better throughout the show. If you can look past that and ALOT of nudity it’s a really great series. Similar to GOT in some ways but definitely its own thing.
- MaxFebruary 15, 2026Spartacus is a powerful series that really makes you appreciate the time and social status we were born into. Many people in the past never had that privilege. The show does a strong job portraying what it meant to be a slave or a gladiator in ancient Rome. You truly feel how a once free man — full of dreams and hopes — is slowly broken by slavery, only to rise again driven by one simple but powerful desire: freedom and Love. The fight scenes in Spartacus are legendary. Brutal, intense, and highly stylized. Yes, the blood factor is sometimes very over-the-top, and unfortunately the CGI blood hasn’t aged particularly well. But the raw energy of the battles still carries a lot of weight. Some characters could have benefited from deeper development, and sadly a few die before reaching their full potential. Even so, the emotional impact remains strong throughout the series. Overall, Spartacus is a great watch for anyone who enjoys combat, warfare, and the setting of Ancient Rome. It portrays a time and society that feels almost unimaginable today. I honestly wish there were more high-quality series set in this historical era.

- Danny Potter-JonesFebruary 12, 2026It is a VERY good series but be aware who you watch this with I tried to watch it a second time with my grandad because I thought he would like this because of the film Gladiator. I absolutely forgot how much nudity was in this it was so bloody awkward. Probably forgot about it because I don't care for dicks and boobs but the action is brilliant.😂 John Hannah as Batiatus is a fantastic complicated villain i don't really see him get much credit for his role or is that just me?

Filled to the brim with great scenes and dialogues, this is a tv series that will stay in your memory. Even the lead actor's death in real life after the first season could not stop this show from achieving greatness.
