Jasmine Felicia Crockett (born March 29, 1981) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Texas's 30th congressional district since 2023. She is a member of the Democratic Party.
In the 118th Congress, Crockett served as the Democratic freshman class representative between the House Democratic leadership and the approximately 35 newly-elected Democratic members. Crockett was a co-chair of the 2024 Harris–Walz campaign and is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Crockett previously represented the 100th district in the Texas House of Representatives. Prior to that, she was a public defender for Bowie County, Texas, and had previously practiced law in a private firm.
