Better Man
Little typical and cliche, but man, it was absolutley gorgeous! Some crazy shots and musical sequences. Very cool. Props to anyone that can get clean and live your life.
Better Man
Predestination
Crazy stuff, man! I feel like an idiot that I should have pieced it together. But I didn't fully so that ending hit me pretty good. So I'm kind of glad :) I love sci-fi stuff like this and it just popped up one day and I thought I'd check it out! I love Ethan Hawke. And Sarah Snook freaked me out!

No Other Choice
Park Chan-wook does it again. This one was a lot more silly and fun, but still having a deep theme through out about family and worklife and having 'no other choice'. Genius script and some amazing framing and transitions here. I truly think he is a perfect filmmaker and continues to pump out amazing work that's fun and makes you think. Hope this gets passed around.

Caught Stealing
Was surprised at the depth of pain in this! A couple of shocking moments. Austin Butler did great and found myself invested in his story and path to freedom and happiness. Not even getting to that point, but just being able to start actually trying. Adorable cat.

A History of Violence
One of those films where you are just along for the ride. I realllllllly liked the ending. Just makes you sit in it and ponder. My favorite.

Train Dreams
Fresh off the viewing and I'm absolutley stewing in it. I was needing a film like this that just lets you sit and feeeeeel. Made me happy to be a human and live this thing called life. I've been needing that lately with so many ways to distract yourself and stay busy. Something I need to work on. Lovely.

Frankenstein
This really hit for me. It was everything I was hoping for. Obviously very gorgeous, and loved the theme of life and death. Living your life. Ending was nice and tied it in a nice beautiful bow for me. I freaking <3 Guillermo!

Twinless
I've been hearing good things about this, and I finally felt like checking it out. It was great! Awesome story telling. And great acting. Dylan O'Brian was incredible. Some of his monologues and scenes were great. He literally felt like a real person. Great film. Still sitting on it and that's my favorite.

Andor - S2 • E10 - Make It Stop
INSANE tension and feelings in this one. Holy cow. This show truly makes you feel the vastness of Star Wars. It's almost tangible. How much effort it took to lead into the main films to defeat the Empire. Crazy.

Hal & Harper • Miniseries
Ever since Shithouse I've been following Cooper Raiff. I was so excited for Cha Cha Real Smooth, and it delievered and felt like a "Cooper" film. A friend told me about this and I was thrilled he's doing a series. Knowing how good his humanistic storytelling is. And He absolutley crushed this. Gorgeous and very deep. Makes you think and feel about your life. Having a sister the same age gap as Hal and Harper just added to it. And Mark Ruffalo absolutley floored me!! I hope he gets some attention for this. Amazing.

A Minecraft Movie
Honestly, exactly what I wanted it to be. It totally felt like a Jared Hess movie, which is great. His movies are extreme nostalgia for me. So it was fun to feel that again.

One of Them Days
Fun to see a nice heart-felt comedy again! Keke and SZA were great, especially together.

Eddington
Honestly, not a fun movie to watch aha. But I enjoyed it in that anxiety, infuriating type of way. Felt just like a more realistic Beau Is Afraid, which is kind of exactly how I feel about this film. Honestly don't see myself watching this again any time soon.

28 Years Later
This was freaking tight. I knew it had to be different from other zombie films to stand out. And this was exactly that. The ending threw me off, then ultimately made it land perfectly with me. Great stuff.
