📄 MMDA-R Club Review — Hannah’s Post-Show Reflection on Lost Song Title: “A Song That Breaks You, Then Heals You — My Thoughts on Lost Song” —Written by Hannah Haku, MMDA Student Reviewer --- I don’t even know how to begin this properly. Watching Lost Song has been... one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had through an anime. I’ve seen shows that made me laugh. I’ve seen shows that made me scared. But I haven’t seen many shows that made me cry in so many different ways. This one did. Finis is the kind of character who is so beautiful — not just in the way she looks, but in the way she feels. You can see it in every song, every note, every tear. She starts off just wanting to love, just wanting to sing from the heart. But over and over again, that gets taken from her. People use her. Lie to her. And worst of all, she remembers it all. Again. And again. And again. It broke my heart. By the time she’s ready to destroy the world — to pull the moon down just so she doesn’t have to feel anymore — I didn’t see a villain. I saw someone who had been hurt too many times, and just didn’t know how to keep going. And somehow, that was the part that made me cry the hardest. But the show didn’t stop there. Rin’s existence. The miracle of being born from music. The way her voice reached out and saved what little light was left inside Finis... that gave me hope. That’s what made Lost Song more than just a tragedy. It became a healing. The music in this show — wow. Just wow. Every track was powerful. The vocals gave me chills. Even the short pieces had weight. I’d honestly listen to the soundtrack on its own, just to feel that emotion again. I really hope we can find it. I really want to keep it. My favorite moment? When Rin is reborn. That one smile. That one pure note. That one moment that says: You can start over. I hope Finis got peace in the end. I hope the songs never leave her. And I hope that one day... she sings again, not because she has to, but because she wants to. — Final Score: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕 5/5 — Top Tier Beautiful animation, unforgettable music, deep emotional resonance. Recommended for anyone who believes that songs aren’t just sounds — they’re feelings made real.
