- borhan9August 14, 2026I just managed to finish this before it leaves Netflix tomorrow is the last day to watch this show. It was on my list for a while, and since it is leaving soon, I managed to binge it in the last week, and this included a hospital stay as well. The Russian show is about a young family that hits a difficult time, and things go sideways, but they become a different family unit, and the show is set in the future. It also reminds me of Bicentenial Man with Robin Williams, with a twist. The story revolves around love and family and the different definitions of family and this may be a different concept for Russian audiences. At first, I felt it was slow, but by episode 9 it picked up speed and managed to be binged. Each episode was an hour long just under, but was high quality. However, I felt some of the acting was kinda mono because the facial expressions did not change. Who was more robotic the AI robots or the humans? It also has a submessage about what life can be like for real Russians in Russia. It came across as a nanny state! If you want something different to watch its something different and leaving Netflix tomorrow not suitable for kids. If you are into scifi and AI this is something worth to watch. 16 episdoes and one season only where else to watch not sure after netflix!
