Reid Bryce Smith appeared in his first television ad at the age of six. He made his film debut in 1970, appearing in the film Blood Mania. He was known as Officer Norm Hamilton in Chase, and guest-starred in series including Columbo, Mork & Mindy, The Six Million Dollar Man, Riptide, The Dukes of Hazzard, Knots Landing, Remington Steele, Dynasty and Bonanza. He is also known as Lester Hacket in the miniseries The Chisholms. His films career includes Into the Night and The Killing Jar, which was his final credit.
