Weapons Ratings & Reviews
- JPKGWV2d agoThe tagline for the film gives it so much potential. I did not find it very scary, although at least one laugh out loud moment at the end of the movie. I can suspend my belief to a point, but far too many major plot holes for me to just take in and enjoy the cinematography. Sad that Weapons and Sinners are going to be considered horror classics, both of which fall way short of that honor.
- Allie TranAugust 1, 2025Holy crap this was good. I watch a horror movie almost everyday and nothing really scares me anymore. BUT THIS?! The “are you watching” is still playing in my head…
- Deadbeat__atdawn3d ago7 Hot Dogs?

- MrTrivet7d agoIt doesn’t surprise me at all that Weapons has become such a conversation starter. It’s a horror that works on several levels at once, but its true core is the mystery, which gains momentum as the story unfolds through successive character perspectives. Each point of view adds a new piece to the puzzle, gradually revealing how the curse works and giving the viewer a strong sense of satisfaction when it all comes together. One of the film’s greatest strengths lies in its performances. The main cast gives the story weight and credibility rarely seen in the horror genre, allowing Weapons to rise clearly above typical genre-level acting. The film also strikes an excellent balance between genuine unease and moments of grotesque, slightly absurd humor, which can already be seen as a signature element of Zach Cregger’s style. The split narrative structure helps organize cause-and-effect relationships while still leaving room for the viewer’s own discoveries. All of this is enhanced by the setting - an American suburb whose false sense of safety provides an effective backdrop for the unfolding events.
- turbob24January 17, 2026Absolute bag of pretentious wank
- Otacon!January 17, 2026The movie is ok, not a great hit but is ok. I'd hope for something more cause the trailer, but is not bad with good cast and interesting characters
- Family RudoJanuary 11, 2026A nice movie to watch it before going to bed. 4 stars because it's started from the middle and ended in the middle. Middle of nowhere, no clue who is she, where from is she, why kids eliminated her. If you skip the details then its fine. But curiosity says its not.
- cat_packAugust 14, 2025Naruto Running denizens attack!
- Miguel GaudencioJanuary 10, 2026Barbarian with a limited budget was more thought provoking than Weapons is. Still highly enjoyable, but not with the intensity of the first one.
- JohnAugust 20, 2025Proof that nothing is scarier than children in suburbia
- Coops_71September 10, 2025Unkle Bucks gf sure took a turn
- jesmeister78January 5, 2026A different and fun watch
