Weapons Ratings & Reviews
- Allie TranAugust 1, 2025Holy crap this was good. I watch a horror movie almost everyday and nothing really scares me anymore. BUT THIS?! The “are you watching” is still playing in my head…
- misael.97August 7, 2025what the fuck did I just watch?? music and atmosphere is fantastic. plot and its development is spectacular. the characters are phenomenal. it's the movie of the year. don't sleep on it.
- JPKGWV4d agoThe tagline for the film gives it so much potential. I did not find it very scary, although at least one laugh out loud moment at the end of the movie. I can suspend my belief to a point, but far too many major plot holes for me to just take in and enjoy the cinematography. Sad that Weapons and Sinners are going to be considered horror classics, both of which fall way short of that honor.
- cat_packAugust 14, 2025Naruto Running denizens attack!
- JohnAugust 20, 2025Proof that nothing is scarier than children in suburbia
- Deadbeat__atdawn4d ago7 Hot Dogs?
- Coops_71September 10, 2025Unkle Bucks gf sure took a turn
- John F. Doran5d agoAll I can say is OMFG! WHAT DID I JUST WATCH??? What a bizarre and awesome movie! I have never seen anything like it before.
- ayayronAugust 26, 2025Warning: too quiet for munching on theater popcorn
- John GeorgeAugust 15, 2025Gritty and unconventional. Weapons delivers an interesting storytelling approach, unraveling its narrative in fragmented pieces that slowly connect. The non-linear structure keeps you guessing, and while it’s rough around the edges, the raw performances and tense atmosphere make it an engaging watch for fans of darker, character-driven crime dramas.
- sti53January 22, 2026One thing for sure, I've never seen anything like this! I loved Barbarian as well, and I can't wait for Zach's next movie!

- amfxcSeptember 13, 2025oh that was sooooo good!! more horrors like this please, it wasn’t long and drawn out, kept my attention the entire time 10/10
- MrTrivetJanuary 22, 2026It doesn’t surprise me at all that Weapons has become such a conversation starter. It’s a horror that works on several levels at once, but its true core is the mystery, which gains momentum as the story unfolds through successive character perspectives. Each point of view adds a new piece to the puzzle, gradually revealing how the curse works and giving the viewer a strong sense of satisfaction when it all comes together. One of the film’s greatest strengths lies in its performances. The main cast gives the story weight and credibility rarely seen in the horror genre, allowing Weapons to rise clearly above typical genre-level acting. The film also strikes an excellent balance between genuine unease and moments of grotesque, slightly absurd humor, which can already be seen as a signature element of Zach Cregger’s style. The split narrative structure helps organize cause-and-effect relationships while still leaving room for the viewer’s own discoveries. All of this is enhanced by the setting - an American suburb whose false sense of safety provides an effective backdrop for the unfolding events.
- turbob24January 17, 2026Absolute bag of pretentious wank
