- ReviewedThe PianistOctober 13, 2025Layers and layers of emotions throughout this movie. It leaves one with a haunting recollection that the holocaust was a long nightmare for so many innocent people. It is stark as well as startling in its presentation. I felt myself wanting to look away. For me, it was a portrait of the will to survive under intolerable atrocities. It is believable and important in its historical context.
