

A handful of young conscripts, girls and boys, pass through the threshold of Dorm No. 13 to begin their basic training in the Finnish army. From the very first awkward introductions to the enthusiastic eagerness of some, or the complete unwillingness of others to adapt to the new reality, this rag tag group must promptly achieve uniformity and demonstrate military discipline and good morale, whether knee deep in snow wielding a gun, or elbow deep in the toilets and corridors wielding a broom.
