Where to Watch The Bear
- naren shenoy3 maart 2026I’m going to reiterate what many others have said. The first two seasons were great. The third season stumbles a little. The fourth season went off the rails. The intensity of this show isn’t just relative to the restaurant industry. There were so many times where Carm’s life in the kitchen closely resembled running my medical practice. That’s the appeal to a show right? That we can all relate to the characters. I felt the first 2 seasons did a great job of that. “Fishes” in the second season might be one of the best episodes I’ve ever seen in building tension and putting mental instability on full display in a very accurate light. However, the show started to steer too much into that and I felt Season 4 largely degenerated into a weekly episode that culminates into a 5 minute dialogue about how messed up someone’s life is with a slow single shot pan in camera that always ends with everyone talking over each other and being self destructive and self loathing. Lather, rinse, repeat. I’m not sure that I will watch the next season, but the first 2 seasons and maybe the third are worth it.
- dogcomplex2 december 2025These people are crazy and I guess I'm in for it. Really gives you that feeling of being trapped in a small room with someone having a psychotic break one moment then being the most real and human the next - then more random chaos of Life crashes in again and that little memory of peace becomes treasured. Is this what we've come to as viewers now? This is what we want? We could just go back you know - watch some Frasier with a canned laugh track? Maybe modern cinema can go too far? Nonetheless, there is something uniquely human and special embedded in this show. You just have to... sigh... *sigh*.... Bear through it. Seriously they named it that on purpose for exactly this take. I'm not being cute.
- Angel9 september 2025Season 1 Score = 10 Season 2 Score = 0 Average Score: 5 It's infuriating to watch everything you love rot, over and over again. IFrom a frantic inner battle with his demons while trying to keep his dreams alive, to a trashy soap opera with morals fit for a 4-year-old, diluted with bland characters who only exist to check ESG boxes. Let's just keep destroying art. What does it matter anymore? I won't fall for it again.
- grimsfield17 juli 2025Hugely overrated, hugely pretentious, family drama that plays bad music constantly throughout every single episode. Seriously, a song finishes and another one starts playing. WTF. Just let there be silence in the background. Play music that isn't meant for a 50 year old Christian mother. And please, for the love of god, stop sniffing your own farts!
