Advertising man Hadley Purvis is facing divorce if he doesn't knock off his heavy drinking. However, the prospect of his marriage falling apart does little to slow him down as he regularly drinks himself into an alcoholic stupor, jeopardizing his career as well. One morning, he finds himself at home with a girl named Marion that he picked up the night before.
