The only Star Wars show to have a horrible hip hop song attached. The only Star Wars show to have its main star write a diss track to the fans because no one watched her show. Not only did this show ruin the career of its showrunner, it also was another nail in the coffin for the Star Wars franchise.

This show is straight up trash. My ring for the show would be a three point six out of ten had potential, but they ruined it.

- Andy BuckleyApril 13, 2025I love the time period of the High Republic and getting to see the Jedi in their prime. Amazing fights, delving deeper into Force-lore, both light and dark. Overall, I think it might have worked better with a tighter plot or longer, but fewer, episodes. It’s still a great show and I hope they explore it further.

- EnochLightDecember 14, 2024This was single-handedly one of the worst Star Wars series in history, making the 1978 "Star Wars Holiday Special" an Oscar-winning magnus opus by comparison. Strangely, it started off strong - the first episode had some very interesting ideas. But by the end of episode 2 and throughout the rest of the season, its execution, acting, character journeys (and behavior), and plot points were all an absolute train wreck. The best part about this was the part where Disney cancelled the series after this one horrible season. Unless you're a die-hard Star Wars fan that will watch anything that is shoveled in front of you from the bowels of unimaginative and creatively bankrupt show runners, then avoid. It's bad.
