Seriously, Paula. Maybe just go home. Lock the door. Make a sandwich. Thankfully, Maslany is so damn good that even when Paula’s frustratingly stupid decisions become borderline infuriating, you still want to follow her deeper into the madness. What really keeps Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed cooking, though, is its season-long mystery. Every new revelation peels back another layer, constantly shifting what you think you know and who you think you can trust. By the finale, the show manages to answer enough questions to feel satisfying while leaving just enough dangling to have you wondering what the hell comes next. It’s weird, dark, funny, occasionally frustrating, and completely unpredictable.
