- lilllamah6 de octubre de 2025Lycoris Recoil is "Anime John Wick", but is also a lot more than that. The main characters, Chisato and Takina is a relatively classic mashup. Takina is the serious no-nonsense character, who gets kicked out of DA for doing what she was trained to do - kill bad guys with PKM at full blast. And Chisato choose to do good with her skills, instead of kill for DA. The story is straight forward, evil guys are evil, big protector is pretty bad at protecting and our duo steps up and saves the day. It has a few slice-of-life things, but they all move the story forward and doesn't feel weird (Okay, the underwear subplot was weird - but Mizuki's outrage makes it absolutely worth it!) And with that theres the side characters, who are all great in their own way. Mizuku, the millenial ex-agent who is part babysitter part crying-alcoholic pining for a boyfriend. Kurumi the hacker, who saves the bacon, but is also a troll in the best possible way. (It does lead her to getting karate chopped by an angry Mizuki tho - which is hilarious) And Mika, the mentor, teacher, father figure and calm center of the LycoReco. The entire main cast has their own flaws, but live with them - not necessarily get past them. The only bad thing, was the bad guys - Yoshimatsu is seen as a good guy, but is actually bad for.. some reason.. And Majima is a green haired chaos goblin that thinks the best way to expose and prove the violence of the DA (Which they do to prevent violence.. duh) is naturally, with more violence! TLDR: It's good, it's quirky, it's funny, guns go PEW PEW. Theres no beach episode (Unless you count the ending..) And the only mildly pervy plot, is immediately dunked on by the plot itself. .. now to find the device from MIB to erase my memory so i can watch it again (And replay Mass Effect without knowing the story :D)
