This is a Telenovela Venezuela about virgin bride-to-be Leonela Ferrari (Mayra Alexandra) getting ready to be married. One night she is the victim of a violent drunken man, Jorge Luis Guerra (Carlos Olivier), who rapes her. Her fiancé refuses to marry her, and when she realizes that she is pregnant, her rich, influential parents dread what "everyone will say" when they find out that Leonela is pregnant and not getting married. Leonela later becomes a lawyer and puts Jorge Luis Guerra in jail for 12 years, during which he falls in love with her and regrets what he did.
