The young and brilliant commissioner Alzani and the mature and easy-going marshal Patanò are the couple of policemen who find themselves solving six different cases in one of the very first crime series on Italian television. The references to noir atmospheres and the figure of an anti-hero commissioner, passionate about boxing and gangster movies, who does not believe so much in infallible intuition but in hard work and patience, are distinctive features of the drama.
