John Quiñones

John Quiñones is an American journalist and host. After earning a degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, he was a reporter with WBBM-TV in Chicago. Later he joined ABC News in June 1982 as a general assignment correspondent based in Miami, providing reports for “World News Tonight with Peter Jennings” and other ABC News broadcasts. Quiñones has also been an ABC News correspondent for 20/20, Nightline, and Good Morning America. He has received numerous accolades including seven Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.
