- witty youngmanNovember 2, 2025O_O What a trip. I will give it to this movie, it kept going and was never what you expected next. I love how unique and interesting the concept was, from the opening text to the use of sound to creep us out around every corner, even to the way the others moved. Yikes.
- cursedbagsOctober 29, 2025I Got 5 On It.
- LD_50October 28, 2025A shallow plot made to seem more substantial because of the symbolism, metaphors, and social commentary, rather than writing a tight story with interesting characters. While Peele has some good ideas on display in an attempt to tell a layered story, the movie is unfortunately bogged down by inconsistent tone, plot holes, and a boring plot.
- MinimaLaifuSeptember 20, 2025no. 1 horror movie for me so far!
- GrimeFiVideoJune 9, 2025I really enjoy Jodan Peele's other films, but this movie sucks. It's an hour and a half of lackluster slasher kills, bad acting, and a miserably boring lack of direction; concluded by a TEN MINUTE scene of nothing but exposition. That's ten whole minutes of being spoon fed the only somewhat interesting information in the whole movie. They must've gone over budget or run out of time when filming and editing "Us", because the whole thing feels empty. The overall premise could have been interesting, but it's executed so poorly. Jordan Peele and all the actors have talent, but it's not shown here.
- jacxcxSeptember 18, 2025I'm not sure if I understood the ending or not.
- wf625June 30, 2025I’ve watched this movie so much times I really like it
- stuhannafordMay 19, 2025A film that believes it is perhaps more important than it is. Extraordinarily long sequences at the mid section and finale, with very little story for a movie, which is, at its base, a mildly comedic horror… which is saying something. Its premise is strong, with an atmospheric beginning, shades of our introduction to IT. However, as the knives, or should I say scissors, begin to come out, the story begins to shred and tatter. The final ‘gotcha’, is telegraphed, and the ‘education’ you feel subjected to, gets tangled and lost. High initial hopes, meander to an unfulfilled end for Us, the viewers.
- Eric BakkeOctober 12, 2024A horror Top 10 lister for me. Masterfully builds tension. "Us" is a thought-provoking horror film that combines entertainment with deep social commentary.
