Where to Watch The Raid 2
- Oscar SaragossiOctober 31, 2025The 2nd best action movie ever made. After The Raid: Redemption
- HakihikoSeptember 24, 2025Brutal, Stylish, but a Bit Overstretched "The Raid 2" takes the foundation of its predecessor and expands it into a bigger, more ambitious crime saga. The action is nothing short of spectacular—expertly choreographed, bone-crushing, and visually stunning. Every fight feels like a brutal dance, with raw energy that keeps you on edge. Where the film struggles is in its length and pacing. At times, the story feels bloated, with subplots that dilute the sharp focus that made the first installment so effective. The attempt to weave a sprawling crime drama is admirable, but it occasionally slows the momentum between the jaw-dropping action sequences. Still, the craftsmanship of the action, combined with the gritty atmosphere and strong performances, makes "The Raid 2" a thrilling experience. It doesn’t hit as hard narratively as it could have, but as an action film, it’s a powerful showcase of the genre.
