- RyezooFebruary 14, 2025Laughably bad. There is dumb fun to be had here, but there’s also a ton of cringe. I get this is mostly a Chinese production, but these actors interacting with the American cast feel so forced. Their line delivery is also extremely poor. The bare bones plot is very weak and been done a hundred times. This movie so desperately needed to be R-rated. The love plot had zero chemistry and Dwight Shrute was so over the top. This really fell flat. It at least gets a star for Jason Stathem stabbing the shark and then hanging on as it breached the water was fucking hilarious. 🌊🦈
- DigitalDisappointmentFebruary 12, 2025Not bad, not great. You know exactly what you're in for with this, a creature feature. Interesting idea/premise, humorously carried out so they're not taking themselves too seriously. All around watchable and maybe even repeat watchable.
