It's hard to get invested when the other actors outside of Jason Statham are over the top caricatures of supposedly real people. Add the obvious CGI... it's not a good combination. So this movie is Mid at best.

The story’s predictable, the characters are thin, and the science is nonsense—but who cares? It’s a wild ride with just the right mix of chaos and charm. Not a masterpiece, but if you're in the mood for some over-the-top shark mayhem, it delivers. Grab snacks, switch off your brain, and enjoy.

Ford30 czerwca 2025If you ever wanted to see what Jaws could have been with modern filming techniques and technology.....this is the film.....awesome storyline.....awesome cinematography...awesome special effects....the dullest part of this movie is the acting....Some of the actors just didn't seem to bring it for me (which is why I can't call it a modern day classic).....the comedy wasn't really necessary and for me it hurt the flow of the movie....All and all, it's a great movie to start a movie night with.....it's a definite popcorn and soda flick....If possible, watch on the biggest screen you can find and turn the sound waaaaay up.....Thank me later!!!!
