I think the selling point of this movie was “let’s just focus on creative slasher deaths and invent a basic plot around it”. This movie was unremarkable in pretty much all respects (plot, characters, acting, etc.). There were some solid actor cameos for horror fans but I felt pretty relieved when the entire ordeal was over.
