Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Ratings & Reviews
- PhineasJuly 13, 2025The most underrated Star Wars movie without question. People are finally starting to realize how good it is. Yes, the dialogue is a little clunky at times, but that's George Lucas, and the acting performances are still great in spite of it. The CGI continues to amaze for 2002 standards, and the final act is one of the best Star Wars has ever produced. Also Space Jesus.
- seaghanJuly 10, 2025Premise and acting great but dialogue awful
- parktool69December 1, 2024gay awakening. loved that cat in the arena.
- Jagger JohnsonJuly 3, 2025Man this Palpatine guy has a really similar chin as Darth Sidious, wonder if they are related.
- nessa.baudelaireApril 7, 2025ugly, awful, and entertaining. stiff performances and a mess of a plot. this is the essence of star wars. If we're not here for this, then what?
- wf625June 30, 2025it’s good but in some parts bland
- DdoughnutMay 23, 2025I don't give too cahoots, I thought this was great
- PatrikStarJune 2, 2025Wayy to much bad cgi sadly
- nicholascole_June 13, 2025Certified hood classic
- jwalkinFebruary 24, 2025Being iconic doesn't make it good. It's old and doesn't hold up. Good to watch for story but THAT'S IT.
- Anodyne4KJune 27, 2025At first, Attack of the Clones continues the somewhat bland and emotionless heart that plagued moments of Episode 1. As things progress, I found a good Star Wars movie begin to emerge. By the time the credits rolled I was pleasantly surprised. For me, it’s the casting and directing of Anakin Skywalker who comes off incredibly weak too often. Maybe a better director gets a better performance out of him. While he isn’t the sole problem that hurts the movie overall he’s a major contributor to why Attack of the Clones isn’t a Star Wars classic in my book.
- Edward SchofieldMay 10, 2025This movie lacks the elegance of Dooku.
- George AtkinApril 28, 2025Not as good as episode 1 but very iconic. It's got a place in my heart.
- PapaHamzehApril 2, 2025There was a lot to expect coming off Episode 1, despite the oddities that came along with it. I am not sure a single person expected it to get worse. But it did get worse. Living during the time of its release, we fans still flocked to the theaters opening weekend because, who wouldn't? Its STAR WARS! I am a huge fan of Star Wars, at least in the sense that I am a fan of what it has to offer and what, at its peak, it is able to deliver. The movie is slow and boring. We wanted to see space wizards going sicko mode and instead we got...well a whole lot of nothing. We were exposed to Hayden's acting, which I think for us young kids at the time didn't bother us, but for the adults in the room it most likely a 'tough hang'. (Despite decades passing, I still dont really care about his acting. He is who he is, and he is our Anakin so. We ride or die.) We eventually got to see some good space wizard fighting at the end, but Im not sure 2 hours of torture to get to that is really what anyone was hoping for. Ewan carries this movie, as he does many things. There's a good plot here, but George probably wasn't the guy to deliver it.
