Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Ten years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé Amidala, while Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi.
There was a lot to expect coming off Episode 1, despite the oddities that came along with it. I am not sure a single person expected it to get worse. But it did get worse. Living during the time of its release, we fans still flocked to the theaters opening weekend because, who wouldn't? Its STAR WARS! I am a huge fan of Star Wars, at least in the sense that I am a fan of what it has to offer and what, at its peak, it is able to deliver. The movie is slow and boring. We wanted to see space wizards going sicko mode and instead we got...well a whole lot of nothing. We were exposed to Hayden's acting, which I think for us young kids at the time didn't bother us, but for the adults in the room it most likely a 'tough hang'. (Despite decades passing, I still dont really care about his acting. He is who he is, and he is our Anakin so. We ride or die.)
We eventually got to see some good space wizard fighting at the end, but Im not sure 2 hours of torture to get to that is really what anyone was hoping for. Ewan carries this movie, as he does many things. There's a good plot here, but George probably wasn't the guy to deliver it.
