Two salesmen trash a company truck on an energy drink-fueled bender. Upon their arrest, the court gives them a choice: do hard time or spend 150 service hours with a mentorship program. After one day with the kids, however, jail doesn't look half bad.

This movie is classic Paul Rudd. Sean William Scott also has a great performance. I was going to write a bunch of drivel about how the movie shows great growth from our characters but this is just a fun ride. I laughed a lot in this movie. Enjoy!

Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott work well together, and the movie gets plenty of laughs out of their completely different personalities. The funniest stuff comes from the kids and the live-action role-playing crowd, especially Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Augie. There's a good amount of crude, awkward humour here, and when the film stops trying so hard to be a feel-good story, it can be genuinely funny. Things get less interesting whenever the comedy gives way to the predictable lesson about growing up and becoming a better person. You can see most of the character development coming from a mile away, and not every joke lands as well as it should. Still, the cast makes it enjoyable enough, and there are some properly funny scenes along the way. Nothing I'd put among the best comedies of the era, but a decent watch.

Revisited this recently and it still is great for laughs. Definitely deserves the "R" rating as my 10th grader was okay, but way too much for my 7th grader. You pretty much know what you're getting with Sean William Scott... Paul Rudd is solid and there's plenty of laugh out loud moments.

Underrated title from this genre. Rudd, SWS, CMP and Thompson are a great matchup resulting in laugh out loud scenarios.
