Rango
Directed by Gore VerbinskiRango is a pet chameleon always on the lookout for action and adventure, except the fake kind, where he directs it and acts in it. After a car accident, he winds up in an old western town called Dirt. What this town needs the most is water, but they also need a hero and a sheriff. The thirsty Rango instantly takes on the role of both and selfishly agrees to take on the case of their missing water.

Rango Ratings & Reviews
- VarunOctober 19, 2024Rewatching after 12 years and this movie absolutely slaps! Amazing animation with so much style, unique characters, great music, epic backgrounds, fun action sequences, good humour and a decent plot. I had no idea it won an Oscar until I searched it up recently, definitely well deserved. This is now tempting me to replay Red Dead Redemption 2 lol. I like Westerns because they have the potential to tell endlessly fascinating and entertaining stories that reveal a lot about the human condition.
- EricMay 8, 2025If i had a nickel for every time Gore Verbinski directed a movie with Johnny Depp as the protagonist and Bill Nighy as the antagonist and it ended up being a masterpiece I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot but weird it’s happened twice. Also yes I do live with the fact my favorite animated animal movie is produced by nickelodeon.
