After seeing this film I only want to see Predators hunting throughout various eras in human history. Amber Midthunder who plays Naru is absolutely amazing as the film’s lead. Great action, gruesome kills, THIS is the Predator film we have been waiting for!

Naru is smart, resourceful, and endlessly entertaining to watch, and the rookie Yautja makes the stakes feel real without being over the top. The action is tight, the scenery is stunning, and the predator design is both intimidating and believable. Some of the supporting cast could use more development, and a few moments lag, but overall it’s a sharp, clever, and surprisingly fresh take that keeps you invested the whole way through.

Amber Midthunder is great here, the action is solid, and the Predator is a proper threat. What Dan Trachtenberg is doing with the Predator franchise is so much more enjoyable to me than any of the prior films and I look forward to more.
