- neuroparadox1d agoIt's pretty good, it feels like they had a good script already and then stuck the Predator in place of whatever antagonist or evil force was in the OG draft Plus, all the retro, time-appropriate things to do with the Predator are absurd...oh laser-tracking, electromagnetic arrows but with bone armor. 🤷♂️ It's never boring, if nothing new. 7 bloody spine rips out of 10, Sub-Zero would be proud. 💀🦴🦴🦴🩸🩸🩸

- Kevin WardJuly 6, 2025Finally! A good Predator movie. Really good. Prey marries the American wild frontier with the sci-fi lore of the Predator and delivers a taut action thriller while simultaneously reviving a franchise I had long written off as dead. Amber Midthunder slays every moment of this film. The fight scenes and choreography are all really well done with creativity and brutality in all of the kills. The Predator design is different, but it had grown on me by the end of the film. I want to immediately watch again in the Comanche dub. I really wish they had filmed it with Comanche dialogue but I won’t shave any points until I’ve seen the dubbed version. Really pleasantly surprised by this and actually has me hoping for more Predator movies.

After seeing this film I only want to see Predators hunting throughout various eras in human history. Amber Midthunder who plays Naru is absolutely amazing as the film’s lead. Great action, gruesome kills, THIS is the Predator film we have been waiting for!

- tellumApril 27, 2025Some will compare this to the original Predator, which is unfair because it’s a very different kind of movie. This goes more in the direction of atmospheric horror rather than action, and leans into dread and isolation in the wilderness. This was meant to be a big departure from what the franchise is perceived to be, if you are overly attached to gun toting action then you may not like this, but if you want a fresh interpretation then give this a watch.
- Jay HoltslanderOctober 25, 2024Underrated film. Fantastic addition to the series. No doubt got limited release due to Americans far prefer caucasian male leads. Although both the English version and the Comanche Dubbed/English Subititled version are here, I'd recomend the Comanche Dub version for a more authentic experience.
