Overboard Ratings & Reviews
- Vincent Reggiannini7d agoI know I might be opening myself up for endless ridicule, but I like this movie. The premise is creepy and borderline predatory, but it’s not a serious movie. The jokes are also surprisingly raunchy for a seemingly “family-oriented movie”, but Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel’s timing and chemistry is apparent on-screen. They each portray their characters like cartoon characters, and contributes to some guarded laughs. The movie owes its “success” to Hawn and Russel, both American icons and I think the movie deserves some leeway regarding its absurd premise.
- RichColemantxJanuary 25, 2026One of the greatest (and mostly overlooked today) 80s movies of all time.
- ben stevensonFebruary 8, 2025Good old comedy
- mickerdooJuly 13, 2025Really light and funny. Hilarious idea. Russell, Hawn and the kids are tremendous. Always the spiteful characters that fall in love.
